love your skinting. i also had an element star wars board skated it then snaped it. the pop is not that bad on them. you should try the pro models from elemnt those are good
I looked into it and realized the decks on the site are not all made in China. Someone informed me of that. You have to look in the description. If it says "made by BBS" then there the good ones, if it don't say anything made by anyone, then it's made in China. The China ones are still made with good wood but not made the same. I actually just ordered one off the site me by BBS. Seems better than the other one I got.
I picked up one of those Element completes. Our local skate shop went out of business a few years back, so I had to order online. I ordered the one with the coolest graphic, but ofcourse they sent me the ugly one that was not even listed. Not sure what they are called in English, but we call them like twigs. You know when you get a plank, sometimes there are like these brown holes, where the three had a twig in it. This deck have a huge twig on it right on the nose on the 2nd layer from the top. The silk screen is really dirty as well, like a bunch of little bubbles in it, just looks like they did not wipe it down, and it was dirty before they put the graphics on there. I still have my old deck from when I was like 12, and it's the old Kris Markovitch with the whole imaginary sea creature one. It got ran over by a car, and it almost have no tail left on it, but I'll probably put the trucks on that and stick to crusing as I'm like 37 and still can't do a kickflip. Still I need to make a part for my sponsor, so I just built like a 4th complete deck, however those guys didn't send me the deck I ordered either. so I probably have to just drive 2.5 hours to the closest skate shop in order to get a deck that isn't b-stock
@@skatehand777 Yeah, but they'll loose out on it in the long run. I'm a wreckless spender. ;) Like Element used to make the best boards in my opinion, but maybe they like lost their passion somewhere along the way. Thanks, I'll need it
@@fanwlkr I learned something from making this video and posting it. I was educated that Element has 2 deck makers. One from China and one from Mexico (BBS). The BBS ones are the good ones. The way to know is when looking at the decks online you have to look at the description. If it says made by BBS, then it's a good one. If it doesn't mention the maker then it's made in China, which those are still decent. The one I have in the video is from China. I just bought one a bit ago from their site that was made from BBS. I haven't tried it yet but I can tell it's a great board. This summer I think I'll be setting it up. Maybe I'll do a review on that one yet 😉.
There deck are solid specially for 30. I want to try primitive. Love there decals. But im still learnin so havent got to test hardcore but had several brands in hand and seems solid. Only one didnt like wad a cheaper powell deck. Way to thick.
Yea the Element boards are pretty good. After this video I realized there is 2 different boards that they make. One is made in China (one I have in the video) the other is made in Mexico (made by BBS). Obviously the BBS are the better ones. I just bought one, but I'm yet to try it.
For sure. Element got some great deals on their site when their on sale! Not sure how long it last until razer. I put my Primitive board back on lol. I just bought a board from element site though that was made by BBS. It shows in the details on their site. Looks like a more solid build. Would last a bit longer I believe before razer tail.
@F1ukez There is a difference actually on the decks. You have to look at the details. It shows who is made by, somethin I figured out. Look for if it's made by BBS in the details. Those are the better ones. I just bought one couple weeks ago.
At first I thought you were just a beginner trying out a board but the more I watched I realized that your actually pretty good

I actually agree that Element boards don't have much pop. my current element board is really good for tre flips.
