I know I'm in the minority, but personally I'd prefer fewer UR events and more lower rarity ships in the game. Already reached max limit break on almost all of them so I have very little use for the 3 purple Bulin every week, and I actually like having more lower rarity options for event clears.

I am 8 UR Bulins short. I am a returner, quit the game 3ish years ago right before the first DOA collab (so I got Shinano) and came back during Unzen's event. I could keep up with Unzen, Shimakaze and Guam, but now I desperately need UR Bulins for NJ, UvH and Laffey 2. I get NJ done next month, but UvH and Laffey 2 are pretty much far in the future with how things are going and the next UR event is around the corner. lmao. We either need a higher cap on specialized cores or 2 UR Bulins per event and cruise missions instead of one.
About the spearfish, it's use in world 14-15 is significantly less effective, as rockets (and all other aimed damage) don't hit nearly as consistently, due to the concealment mechanic. This makes it a lot less useful than it would otherwise be, as world 14-15 is probably where you'd be most likely to use a parallel torpedo bomber. This and considering its extreme cost, I would refrain from making them until content releases that makes them excel.
@ALM The Fairey Spearfish TF.1 as it is called was not a bad aircraft in what it was for, it is supposed to be a replacement for the Fairey Barracuda but it had major design flaws that would have required a few years of testing and correction to fully solve and its payload is on par with the Avenger but the main problem was it came too late
Yep and realistically it shows really just how stuffed over the British Empire was because of the war starting far too early as if the war had not started in 1939, the Swordfish torpedo bomber would have been withdrawn from front line use in 1940 and be used as a deck landing trainer until war breaks out where it would be used in ASW while the Albacore comes in 1940 while further testing of the Fairey Barracuda which hopefully catches the fatal flaw in the Barracuda's design ie the flaw of the Hydraulic system that sprays fluid in the pilot's face and that is fixed before it comes in to service in 1941 By 1940 the Gladiator, Roc and Skua all need replacement and there is a real chance the British buy the Dauntless and fit it with folding wings and the Skua's dive bombing sight which would actually have made the plane far more accurate in dive bombing attacks, both things that the United States Navy would be thrilled about

Thanks for the guide and review! I'll definitely be Bulin poor for quite some time since I'm still on UR catch up. I still need to get Kronshtadt, Vanguard, Musashi, and Shinano. And max limit break UVH. So it will be an interesting balancing act for a while until I can accrue enough Bulins. I might have to rely purely on the Build pool to fully Limit break Shinano, which is a painful thought. Having access to the Sextuple AA gun is excellent since I've been wanting to build more of them.
I'd be surprised if 1 gacha + 1 event shop UR becomes the norm. I'd more expect that maybe 1/4 UR events. At least that would make more sense with the small currency increase for buying bulins.
@@AzurLaneMeta Role-play. For me it's equipping kansens from specific nations with gear from that specific nation. For example HMS kansens are equipped with AA guns, main guns etc. from HMS.

I´m not sure if it´s usable for W15 (mob or support fleet) or if Wyvern is always the better call. Is the high AA stat for Bréguet useable in any case or is it just a budget wyvern for mob fleets?
At this point I honestly wish AL did a rarity reshuffle, buff older common and rate ships and reduce the rarity of highers ones. SSR are not rare at all anymore, they feel like what Elites used to feel like and URs are mofe numerous but not special at all like what Shinano and NJ used to feel when they came out.
UR situation is a bit frustrating. You wait for 2 years if you miss a new UR, and you need 2-4 months to MLB ur ship (from proto shop and cruise pass). I currently have 4 UR's waiting for MLB. Guam, NJ, Shinano and Soyuz.
After carrying an entire Air RB match with a Wyvern in War Thunder, I can confirm, the Wyvern can Intercept. 30 bucks well spent on Ear Damage. Only Kaga gets the Wyvern for me. Everyone else gets their historical weapons....(Except NJ, I'm not giving her the Mk.7 Turrets), But Kaga will always have Modernized Messerschmitts, Stukas, and Wyverns....(Unless we ever get ahistorical torpedo yeeting Me-410/210 Hornisses)

KGV's augment module is even worse then it appears. It only removes the restriction on her buff IF there are NO other RN ships in her fleet. It's so garbage.
about the ur bulins and how many ur events we get in the future. i don't feel bothered, while i do play since day one im super lazy and i still managed to get lucky enough to draw all ur ships in the past. so there is no backlog to work on, so it just about getting new ones maxed out. which between the expected numbers of free bulins and my reserves (4 one + points for 9 more) doesn't look to me like yostar will manage to drain me dry.
I was thinking that myself recently. Definitely love that Yostar is so generous with shipfu acquisition, but it doesn't feel quite as special when there's so many and they're so easy to get. Personally I'd like some more Common and Rare ships, to keep the UR and SR feeling even more special (plus having some use for the purple Bulin by this point in time).

Yes the Light banner will give you 1 point (instead of 2). Hence what I was saying it if you have build tickets which could be used in either, use them in the banner that give you 2 points.
Idk why, but I have like 80k of those points to buy bullins which only cost 4k each, still have every single UR max LB, you get so many bullins through events battlepass etc, which makes me, most of the time, not even buy the bullins from the shop. Idk how hard it is for newer players but i'm, as a veteran, super fine with the way things are right now, but if it makes newer players not beeing able to max lb URs then I am 100% for the changes, just never really noticed it that much.
for a new player they'll be able to MLB all URs as of current time within 2 years with how much we get and thats if they dont change how many new URs we get per year

Spearfish is mostly cheaper than Wyvern when you factor the rest of the tree, Firebrand =>Firecrest=>Wyvern, compared to the Spearfish needing the much easier to come by Barracuda prints. Only thing is the 20 SR plans compared to the 9 or 12 (the latter being if build Firebrand rather than core shop) for the Wyvern line, but way less electonic components (I'm assuming these are still the hardest op si mat for newer players?) at the Spearfish's 20 compared to the 57 or 78. Both use 9 UR plans.
I don't really care about UR Bulins I care about the cognitive chips shortage, I've had to slow down exp farming because I keep running out of chips, even using lower rarity ships that needs less chips, I've been still struggling, and last event with 2 UR ships really hits hard on the chips...
UR bulins shouldn't really be an issue. I have all URs at max limit break and I still have like 4 bulins sitting on the dock wasting space, plus all the ones you can buy from the proto shop.

Easy to overlook, but the Wyvern isn't quite the only torpedo bomber that launches interceptors. The French Bréguet Br.810 does as well.

Welcome back! It'll probably take you a year to catch back up UR bulin-wise. Unless you start pull UR banner duplicates.

Yes I'd be surprised if more than 6 URs dropped this year. But I wouldn't be surprised if they did do more 2 UR events (especially for the USS).
Great part of new lab gear is it isn't changing the meta. Also on personal level I like new gear fair bit as it helps in my RP play.

Wyverns aren't the only torp bomber that can intercept. The Bréguet Br.810 can also intercept.

The spearfish uses the ur ordinance reports which is harder to get than the ur plans that the wyvern uses
In no world is using 9 Ordinance reports cheaper than literally anything else in the lab.
A spearfish is 1.5 457mm guns.
That is not cheap, even if the spearfish is cheaper on electronic components than the former is.

if only spearfish is a convergent bomber, it could replace ju-d4 or ryusei... as a parallel bomber... it's just not very useful...
