The SU35 could be dangerous if it came to within visual range of the Gripen.
Might win in a dogfight. Beyond visual range will be a whole ballgame. Su 35 has way bigger RCS. Gripen Meteor missiles, extremely good networking and EW. And can pop up like Jack in the box from anywhere on its home turf due to enormous dispersion capability. Only needs 500 m runway.
Most likely in big numbers as an extra surprise.
We don't dislike the Russians as a people over here. But they need better leadership.
