      IM injection is a whole skill on its own however it can be merged into an implementation station,so a trick is if u have IM in ur implementation station then u wouldn’t get the same in ur linked skill station but if u have oral drug admin then a higher chance u could get IM or SC drug admin

    thank you sis very helpful information. on the medication sheet, where do we write the code

    • @dankgh_
      @dankgh_  5 месяцев назад

      If you code a medication,sign the drug you coded and add the number to your name,for example, (7.G.OSEI) so you add the code infront of your name

  • @jossyennin3894
    @jossyennin3894 5 месяцев назад

    I would like to know. The As required medicines part of the coding please ..do we have to code the PRN drugs please

    • @dankgh_
      @dankgh_  5 месяцев назад

      Not entirely,if a patient refuses to to take the drugs,then no need to code it but if for a certain reason like,if patient was required to take it orally but refused as he has difficulty in swallowing then u will have to code it

      Never ever,where no drug is prescribed,please go blind there,never be tempted to sign or touch any drug you didn’t administer or was prescribed

    Thank you so much for this video. It's really helpful i must confess.
    My concern is this: I do not open/break ampules with my hands as I end up getting injuries hence i improvise when opening ampules using a syringe barrel.
    In a situation where a medication comes in ampules is it okay to inform tje examiner that I will be using an ampule opener?
    This is my situation and i will really appreciate your advice regarding this concern

    • @dankgh_
      @dankgh_  2 года назад +1

      In theory, its not safe to break ampoule with bare fingers and that shows candidate is not taking precautions with safety practises and can lead to fail in your osce.it always appropriate to improvise but also to ensure what you use is sterile... I personally recommend sterile gauze .
