- Here’s a quick update on how training for the poomsae tournament has been going… it hasn’t 😂 My body is adjusting to all the changes of pregnancy and I had to rest for a couple of weeks. But we’re back to it just in time 💪🏻
Competing & keeping up with workouts is important to me cause I want to stay active for a healthy pregnancy. But that’s my only expectation. Right now I don’t need my body to be in peak performance for a competition… it’s already doing a great job at excelling at what I consider a harder task…. Creating a whole new human 🥋🔥

It depends on each person! Staying active is generally recommended for sure, and for me my doctors have said I’m good to keep up with it!

OMG, these comments... My wife earned her 1st degree while 6mo pregnant with our daughter. She was exempt from sparring, and she monitored her heart rate the entire time. There is literally ZERO RISK TO ANYONE doing forms and light exercise. @blackbeltsamery, good luck in your tournament!
