there's a commonality among indian students abroad who are on yt that they have to talk about expenses in the us on their channel. more than a thousand videos available. but this video is very cool and informative. keep going. love from Jaipur.
Wish someone had made a similar video when I started my application for bachelors in US. I didn't have enough money to attempt the SAT twice (luckily I received a lot of application waivers) and money went like dust! But it's hopefully a beautiful end, having received my acceptance for U Arizona and Michigan State and expecting a thicc scholarship from both! (Also Please Cornell accept me🙃)
Hey Parth, amazing work bro. Your videos are top notch. Came across your profile just a day back and I've been binge watching them!!! Keep up the good work
I have a question hope someone can answer me, It’s about housing/living expenses. Now my daughter housing/ meal cost is 13,450 $ now my question is that are we gonna pay that amount every semester? Or that amount will cover for the whole school year already? It’s just our first time and my daughter is a International student. She will fly to Ball State University on this coming 27, December 2021.
Just a tiny correction -: Stanford follows the quarter system and not the semester system and the per year fee can go up to $70,000 (including housing) and sometimes about $140,000 if you are staying for full 2 years. Great video BTW, I like how you explain and break down these things patiently.
Hey Parth, you have really done a great job in this video.kudos to you!!! But just one question,is that university of Florida that cheap to study for MS in CSE.I googled and not found a satisfactory answer.Kindly help me out ,it would really help in deciding the universities. Thanks in advance.
Awesome content bro. Please Parth, do a video for University of Florida's Master of Construction management program at the Rinker School Of CM. Their is little info about it on the net.
Hey, what's your take on dual degree programs in US. For example Southern Methodist University offers MS in civil engineering + MBA. I'm from civil background and have been writing you a lot so please consider this a request and enlighten me with the pros and cons of dual degree programs and subsequent jobs. Thank you.
Hey! Can you please make a video for Liberal Arts students as well? I understand that it's easier for you to be in contact with engineering students and naturally know better about your own field, but if you can maybe work it out by collaborating with other departments as well? It'd be a huge help.
Hey Parth, thanks this was really informative. Looking forward for the 2nd part. If you could please include a few California universities. Ex - SJSU. Thanks ✌️
Hey Parth, If I get an admit, when do I need to submit the tuition / semester fees ? After coming to USA / Before coming to USA ? Please be specific about dates.
wow.. this video was just what i needed...thanks parth. Also pls can you include Colorado State university and ASU(i think you are best person to give the figure for that) in your 2nd video list
Has definitely done quite a bit of analysis and is well put. Having said that, other variables than need to be considered in addition to this data needs to be at least pointed out. For example going to Stanford may be more expensive than going to UFL but some of the significant advantages you get going to Stanford might over weigh all else depending on the student's interest etc.
Hey Parth, Thanks for all your videos, they helped me a lot through my process. I recently got my admit from DePaul CDM for march intake. I was hoping if you could help me with some info on what's the possibility of getting a Non-Collateral Edu loan. Thank you.
Hi FAHEEM, I am planning for MS and graduated last year. I had some queries and doubts regarding the education loan and the expenses. Can you pls reply? Thanks in adv.
I want to complete Bsc and Msc courses in America. But the financial stability of my family is not well. So any suggestions to fulfill my wishes as I mentioned on the above 😞.
One of the sources of funding for universities is the taxes paid by the residents of that state. So, they usually charge more for students coming from out of the state and in your case, another country. Don’t bother about in-state fee. It doesn’t apply to you unless you live and work in that state for at least 2 years and pay taxes.
Hi, how is the reputation of the engineering department of Northwestern University. I have been accepted both NYU Tandon School of Engineering and Northwestern University (MS in civil engineering program). Which one should I opt for?
Hey parth one should choose a better ranked university like gatech or umich or a mediocre university with scholarship like ut dallas. I will be going for supply chain. TIA
This is so so much helpful for me. Recently I made up my mind finally to prepare for studying abroad. And much to my surprise, you included northeastern too where I am thinking of. So it is going to help me a lot. Waiting for the next part, its like a decision making video series for me. Thank you so much for the video. I have send you messages over instagram, need your help. Do see and respond please if you have few minutes. Will highly appreciate it. 🙏
Hi I'm going to apply for undergrad & my priority is to be in USA. What are the exams I need to take between IELTS, TOEFL, SAT & etc for undergrad in USA? And if I think about having UK universities as backup, will the answer change?
Please do the same considering the following universities MIT UCLA UC Berkeley Caltech University of Michigan University of Texas Austin Princeton University
Thanks for the info man. I think you need to correct the Columbia University/New York (Rent/Number of Students either of them). Also, Florida, Per Person is shown as $250, but total rent as $10, which means number of persons should be 4, whereas it is shown as 8.
