Regarding the weather; I have been the groundsman for a village cricket club for more than 30 years, so I tend to be very aware of the weather and I am in my 70s. The Autumn and Winter since October has been the wettest I can ever recall, and that includes 2012 which was the wettest year since 1912. The 2023 summer had a lot of hot dry weather but, as I said we have had an incredible number of wet days since the start of October, when I would have normally have been doing all the repairs and renovations for the wear and tear to the cricket square to 'put it to bed' for the winter.
I am now doing things I was not able to do then, with the new cricket season only four weeks away.

The weather is indeed crazy right now. I certainly hope my comment about the weather didn’t offend. It was meant to be good natured. Thanks for watching and commenting.!

@@ShawAdventuresRUclipsI live on the South Coast (East Sussex) and in coastal areas you expect there will be periods of stormy weather but compared to decades ago there are far more frequent storms off the Atlantic. For me it is a sign of climate change in action; if you put more energy into the weather system, the more volatile it becomes.

@@rocketrabble6737 The climate is in constant change. Don't attribute a bit more rain to anything other than a bit more rain.

I enjoyed your vlog! I think it was nice you were able to show a lot since you split up. I just found your channel, but subscribed and am going to watch your previous videos too! Since you mentioned the parts of the tea that you shared, were your favorite, do you feel like the tea really wouldn't be something you would recommend at F&M?

Hello @adventuresfor the curiuos (Love that name!) thanks for taking the time to watch the video. From research I did, I decided to try F&M for my first afternoon tea experience and it didn't let me down. It is a great experience but for the price I wouldn't go very often but I'm glad I did it. The ambience at F&M was so wonderful.

Great video!! I will have to go back and do the tea time. What did y'all do with your luggage while in London?

Thanks! Since we were doing 10 countries in 10 days we packed VERY light. The backpacks you see us carrying were all we brought.

London, England eh? I’m glad that it is made clear London is in England. We could have all got confused that was in France or Iraq or in the USA somewhere.

@@ShawAdventuresRUclips yeah but no one cares as about that one. I live near a Washington. But if I travelled to Washington DC and had a picture of the White House on the video no one of any brain cells at all is going to think it’s in England. Apart from you clearly.

The origin London bridge was wooden, the Roman structure was rebuilt in stone a number of times. The bridge that was sold to an American was only built in 1830 (Putney Bridge was a 100 years older than that one).

If you hail a black cab it's illegal for them to deny your fare although they can be more expensive

Thank you for the tip. We did use black cabs during the trip, but at this point I think they were just regular vehicles.

another jam-packed day. good one. You're very lucky to have had nice/crispy fish'n'chips in UK... usually the batter is soggy and greasy and just gross.

Really? I did not know that. When we were watching RUclips videos trying to pick where to go it seemed like in general they came out crispy. Good to know for the next time we visit. Thanks again for watching and we appreciate the feedback.

Perhaps we need some lessons? Are you referring to Nathan's use of utensils at Poppies, or Jessica's at Nandos? Or both?
