Did the 33 have a flocked soundwell? I was fortunate enough to acquire a 33, and when I disassembled it to clean it, I discovered the flocking in the soundwell. I researched it and found they only did it for a couple of years. It makes the timbre of the instrument a little more mellow. Pretty amazing how subtle changes affect sonic differences from guitar to guitar.
#3 to my ears

flocked how? I have worked on Nationals for 25 years and never heard of that.
I have a 1931 Style O with the hooks on the cover plate, and the body is brass.
#2 for me.
Nice playing Lenny, I cant hear to much difference between them except for the 14 fretter, but not much.
The 1933 Style O is the sound for me
love it
#3, chickenfoot gets my vote.
Chicken food sounds much better: clearer and brighter
