I’m moving about 6.5 hours away from my family in a couple of weeks. I plan to take some dirt from my mom’s garden and plant a pothos in it to care for the relationship. Vortex!

VORTEX! Just found your channel a few days ago and i'm loving all of the videos! My wife and I use dirt magick all the time. Anytime we go somewhere that is meaningful to us we take some dirt home with us in a jar. And then we have a little container on one of our altars that we put a little bit in from all the special to us so we always have that energy hanging out on the altar

I have heard a few talk about graveyard dirt and crossroads, mostly folk practitioners, but rarely hear anyone talk about high energy events like concerts to charge spells or magical items. It’s a great idea! Especially if you can match the genre/vibe to the spell. Can’t wait to hear more of your thoughts for the rest of the series!

This resonates with me so much! I love to dance and while doing so when out at my favorite places, once the primal energy is raised while on the dance floor, I use that energy to charge the items I wear. I have even used it to chant spells in those moments 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. Thanks for sharing ❤Vortex ❤️

First time caller poppin in! So liminal spaces is something I'm super curious about and just started working with. You sooooo reminded me about dirt magic because I forget being that I live in a city lol but I do have beaches to work with. Also honey ain't none of us coming for the grammar ok! Lol
Loved this style of video, Ivy! Recently, I collected some crossroads dirt (more like crossroads sand; sandy soil where I live) from a forested area where I work with the land spirits, tree/plant spirits. I haven’t seen Heilung live yet but did recently see Wardruna & yes I took several spells & amulets with me to get them super charged 😁 these items are for protections & destruction magic. I hadn’t thought about the astral travel use.
I love to use both bands music for rituals too.

Vortex. I actually visited some vortexes in Arizona before really diving into my witchcraft journey, so I didn’t fully understand them. And I accidentally tapped into an energy hub at a concert once and never really thought about it until your video. I’ll have to dive deeper into that!

UGH Heilung was recently about 2 hours away from me in Atlanta, and I would have LOVED to have gone! I feel things so deeply when I listen to them. Even though I've watched the Anoana a thousand times, it still affects me as much every single time. Also, vortex!
Vortex. Lovely video, and a great premise for video serie. I love using the energy of place. My town is built on top of ancient Roman settlement and fort. So I'll use energy from that area for spellwork if I need it. Yay more talk on dirt in Magick. I love love using dirt in magick. Dirt from my garden, the local church, the Roman ruins, graveyards, dirt from a area lighting struck the ground/tree, ect. There is just so much things you can do with dirt. Enjoyed ur content for awhile now. Always great. Love this💚 gritty hands on and opening the pathway for imagination and understanding that the craft is everyday and wherever we are so utilize it. Dirt magick! Knows no bounds,seriously. I put my yard dirt in a protection jar for my home. My graveyard dirt has a most honored place on my altar representing u guessed it earth. Super interesting i read make essentially a mud pie write on it something to rid of let it dry and break in half and bury or drop in water to dissolve. Or building up bringing in moulding. Its crazy again knows no bounds. I really appreciate the space for less structure and explanation and more space for idea exchange. Please continue. Thanks again

Vortex 😊 Oh, yes, I call them power places and in my travels (before I got housebound by chronic illness) I felt many of them. Not events for me, not concentrated in a brief time, but built up over centuries or even millennia. Here in Britain, yes, Stonehenge, plus Avebury, the River Avon, Snowdon, Edinburgh Castle, Portland island, the Isle of Mann, and London Bridge. Over your side of the ocean, Ellis Island, Savannah, St John in Canada, and Rio in Brazil. Elsewhere, Gibraltar, the Atlas Mountains, and possibly the most deeply powerful in my experience the Sargasso Sea.

Vortex 🖤 yes I've watched the whole video of yours, yes on dirt Magick!!! Now that my husband and I are pretty much done with the Military Lifestyle, we'll be '' staying in our new state for quite awhile so I'll be doing certain things in my practice that I felt couldn't do due to us moving every 3 years for the last 20 years. Checked out Heilung and really liked them! Very primal … great for raising energy! … Left of center thought … I need some movement in my life … I have heart failure, so the movement needs to controlled and limited. I think I’m going to try yoga. I’ve been thinking about it for awhile now, and I think now is the time. I love Eryka Badu … I just made a playlist of her songs … I think I’ll put on her playlist in the morning and try to do some beginners yoga … Just so I can add some movement to my world. I desperately need that. I just found some chair yoga exercises and some panic breathing exercises as well 😊 VORTEX!

Vortex! Found your channel the other day and am absolutely loving it. I just wanted to ask a question about crossroad dirt. Could it be from a foot path crossroad? Only I don't get how to get crossroad dirt when all the roads are tarmack.... Thank you for all your help
Yes, crossroad dirt can absolutely be from a foot path! And the dirt you get from a major crossroad with tarmack is usually just the dirt that's on the side of the road. Either one works fine ☺️ And thank you so much for the kindness! 🖤

Vortex. I love the idea of this new series. I haven't been to a concert before. For me, I sometimes visualize the actual word of the intent in energy form to enchant or imbue to help with the intent. I haven't used dirt in my practice but I agree not a lot of people talk or know about dirt magick. I'm not in a romantic relationship but I would use that two candle bring closer spell idea.
You've never been to a concert?!?! Is that by choice??? Lol. And yes, the candle trick can work for any two things that you want to bring together! (Doesn't necessarily have to be for a romantic relationship.) I love that you visualize the word in energy form!

Ivy, thank you so much! As someone circling back around to witchcraft and magic as a way to take control of my life, I really appreciate your channel. Your videos give me a taste of a whole bunch of subjects and I get to choose those that are of interest and delve deeper into them.
In terms of delving deeper, would you say reading (books you have recommended, for example) is a good place to start? Vortex!!
Thank you so much!! Yes, reading is definitely the way to go... But I really like RUclips for deep dives... I love listening to people ramble about their personal practices and finding gold nuggets of wisdom in the conversations. Sometimes you just can't get that from a book! I would say... There's a lot of big RUclipsrs that do an amazing job at creating beautiful videos but they don't necessarily enjoy deep diving. I would seek out some RUclipsrs like Jesse Huntenberg, Owlvine Green, Kelly Maddox, and some other old school RUclipsrs for the deep dives.

So. It's been a year since you've posted this video. I'd liki to say, that i found you, and I'm greatful that i did. Some years ago, i read about sigils, now, for some reason, i don't know how to explain, I've been doing alot of things intuitivily, and remembered sigils. So i came here on RUclips, and your video on sigils really took my attention. So here i am, listeni and to you alot. I'm loving your channel, your energy, and i do really feel I'm alot like you, we have alot in common. You did mention in one of your videos that for some reason you feel you wont come back with another life time, i feel i will. I'm in love with this planet. I'm in love with humans, even though it's not easy beeing around others. I spend alot of time alone, so I'm very sensitive to the energys that surround me. But i believe i will come back, to help elevate human energy.
This is so funny, cause not too long ago i met a person who told me that my 3 past lives i was a witch.. i was like..what?
He said that my last one i had many herbs and apothecary, that i would soon discover more..

I’ve been in a liminal space… time wise. A period of time away from my practice. Also I’m going today to speak with people who run wonderful home for my son. It’s been just me and him for 27 years and my home will have a void once he is gone. I consider it a liminal time/space also. It is for the best, he will be much happier and I know it is best for me too but.. dang, it will be different.
I’m just getting back into my practice now, preparing myself.
On another note… I practiced a working to become healthier and lose weight. (Not PC but it is what it is) I have lost 24 pounds and feel so much better. I have a bit more to go but magick helped me help myself work towards my goal. Just thought I’d share that win.

Thank you so much! Immediately what comes to mind for me is the roots of that religion. Dirt really can relate to the foundations of something. And taking dirt from a church that you worship at would be a really great way to connect to that higher power and do some high magick! But I'm sure it depends on what kind of church it is. Vortex. Loving the idea of a road opener spell as I want to get intouch more with my pyshic abilities. I have been told I have them since I was a child but I suppressed it and now I have no idea to get them back. Is there a can opener type of spell to open me up and get them out lol
I haven't heard of a can opener spell per se... 😂 But there is such a thing as a "blockbuster" spell! Might want to look up a demo of that because it might be useful to you!

Like you, I come from a scientific/healthcare background (physiotherapy and medicine) so when I was told by other psychics that "I have the gift" I would joke and ask for a recipt so I could take it back and exchange for an xbox. I am now discovering witchcraft, and loving the idea of chaos magic (thank you for introducing me to it), and loving it. My adhd doesn't help with meditation but hey ho I will get there 😉 lol
