I hear that lol. I've known pretty much my whole life my family comes from a long lineage of practioners but my mother and my Nana never showed me any thing. Like they never showed me if they had their own spell books or recipe books or even an altar. They just always told me we came from a "special and gifted family" and as I came into my"gifts" that's when my Nana told me more about our family on the women's side. She never said we were witches per say but she said I had "the gift" or "gifts" in my case, like other women in our family. She used call me her little "spiritual antenna" lol. But yeah niether my mother or Nana evwr taught me any kind of spell work or rituals and I don't believe they had any kind od spell books or ritual books or anything. An my Nana passed away when I was 15, and she was the one I confided in about everything especially about how my "gifts" scared me and how I didn't like what I was seeing. But she always made me feel better about it. She always would say "Sweet Pea there is always going to be a little bad with the good, it's what lets us know what good truly is, and yes sometimes what you see is scary but they aren't trying to scare you, they just want an need your help". So when she died I lost faith in EVERYTHING myself the univerae my gifts and anything spiritual. I shut down I drank I did drugs. I spiralled bcuz when she died I felt like I lost apart of myself with her death

I accidentally found a tea shop, he had a entire wall set up full with loose tea in glass containers! It looked totally apothecary-like, all color-coded with scent jars, it took me a while to pick from all the choices I had but I picked a tea that had been smoked over pine wood so it smelled like pine, which has healing and cleansing properties in Native American folklore, so that was my little adventure hahahaa I hope you have a great day!!!

That’s awesome! There’s an adorable rock shop near me, and I’m so sad that I went before I started my practice! It’s a shop that specializes in the abilities and powers and properties in crystals, only downside is the price! I got five crystals from there, two of which are some of my favorites of all time, was 30$! Maybe that’s normal, I’m just super used to those crystal bins where you fill bags with rocks and it’s like 5$ a bag

1. just set the jewelry on top of some salt.
* leave it over night (under full or new moon)
2. Wave it through incense or sage smoke.
3. Moving water
ENCHANTMENT:
- set object in hand
- Keep saying your intent and “build it up”
- Then visualize sending it down your arm and taking over the piece in your hand
- Then keep and keep sending it until you feel like your object can’t hold anymore
* some say they feel like the object starts buzzing/ tingling
- Then seal it off by saying “it is done”, “amen”, you can kiss it, etc.
AFTER:
- you can just wear it
- You can recharge it if you feel it needs it
- If you are doing a small temporary enchantment after you’re done wearing it for your occasion then just thank it, then cleanse it.

Also what kind of petition did you? If it was something like "I'm not loosing things again" It won't work. Try to find what's the cause, for example: "I loose things because sometimes I'm not organized". Therefore your spell shoud be "I'm organized".

Honestly, I feel ya! My mom and I were not close at all growing up. I'm an adult, married with my own family now and she is just really starting to be a part of my life. Very much a better late than ever sorta feeling but it's nice that she's making an effort. I hope you and your mother can patch things up as well.

@@thiccsloth Hi, since I commented over a year ago my practice has changed and I don't really work with enchanted jewellery currently but I personally think intention is not only one aspect I believe it is a feeling and that could be a combination of as you said protection, confidence etc. The other thing also depends on you. For Me personally, I always have protection in my intention but depending on your situation you might want to highlight it or add it specifically if you don't usually consider it. I hope that helped anyway!

Hi love, the evil eye symbol is a really powerful symbol to ancient greeks. It is said that you must always have 10 eyes watching yourself and your back, "Matia Theka" which means eyes 10 in english and is a commonly used saying in Greek. It is also there to ward off evil spirits and all negativity away from you. Usually said to also be worn with a cross as if you are putting energy into the eye (taking acknowledgment of it that you should balance it out with wearing a cross too. This is a very holy trend by many traditional Greeks. That's why most will always have the eye attached to it, we also give these as a gift to people at important family events like Weddings and Christenings. xxx Aside from that meaning - eye itself does represents insight. My parents just got back from a trip around Australia and they got me some stunning natural pearl earrings that have this really unique shape from the sand rubbing against them while they were forming - this is such perfect timing!

I have rings that I haven't charged but wanted to and whenever I'm nervous or scared or my PTSD is kinda acting up I twirl them or slide them up and down and I'll also clink them together cause it makes a almost bell sound and really helps calm me. I help out in second hand stores all the time trust me there is scary things attached 2 jewellery and dolls and mannequins but not so much of anything made out of wood or iron come to think of it any protective material doesn't really have anything attached to it

@@tezak_20 dolls they have some of the worst things in them peticularly the old ones done with human hair on the hits but people want to buy them I haven't touched myself or look them in the eye and just genuinely uni thing that comes out of a dead person's home especially if it's an effigy of a living thing or old jewelry and my Mentos that went a lot to somebody regardless whether or not they're alive or dead

I'm so glad you mentioned something about broken jewelry. I have a necklace with a tigers eye point where the crystal broke ages ago. I've asked other people and no one could give any type of answer. It never felt the same after it broke so I haven't used it but the thought that it has served it's purpose makes a lot of sense to me and makes me feel better about abandoning it to the depths of my jewelry box.
Strange: this is the first time that I'm seeing how to cleanse and enchant my jewellery but this is exactly how I do it !!!! Intinctively !!!🙏😱
There are many flavors and labels, but in the end you can deconstruct most of it into very intuitive basic spartan steps.

Yesterday I received all the crystal jewelry I bought on the internet and this morning I thought I'd need a guide for the cleansing and then this video appeared on my hub.. I love your contents and how you edit them. Nice job!
Great idea for a video! Just a note that most jewelry metals and many crystals (especially silicates) can be damaged by being in salt. If you do use salt to cleanse, use it very quickly and rinse the piece off and dry well. I personally like using sound to cleanse (I use an altar bell). Another idea I liked was having bed of sage for cleansing items that don't like salt, water, and/or the sun.
I love wearing aventurine and keeping the stones with me in my bag or holding one when I'm playing slot. It helps when you want to manifest and even win money. I always cleanse my stones with sage and Palo Santo. Very effective.

As a practicing witch for 20+ years, seeing a young woman on a dedicated path that hasn't obviously ben tainted or drawn to this path because of pop culture and has true and realistic expectations of your abilities is wonderful! Thank you Olivia for your wonderful videos. You are slowly convincing me to give witchcraft a try. I have always been drawn to this craft since I was a child despite my Christian upbringing; and have had a very deep connection to the earth, specifically trees. I would speak to them and take refuge under them if I had had a bad day at school or felt lost and lonely.
Recently as an adult, my interest has been reawakened do to intense feelings of being lost, spiritual disconnection with myself, and recent trauma and grief that has left me emotionally crippled. I miss the safety and reassurance of the trees and am seeking healing, reflection, and specifically self love. I feel that this is something that I have to do even though I know my family will not understand it. Thank you for giving me some guidance to start off my journey in witchcraft.

A great way to cleanse (something i do a lot) is soap and water! While you physically wash the object you chant "i wash away all negative energy" or even all energy if that's your thing. And visulize it washing away down the drain with the soap and water.

You only need enough that it creates an opaque layer of salt (meaning you can't see the plate under it) and it can just barely fit the piece on it. Just as long as It's only touching salt it's fine (from what I've heard anyway, I'm a newborn witch lmao)

Like she said there are many beliefs, With me, it depends on the piece. What I mean is if it was a protection from something specific and it breaks or gets lost it means it absorbed what ever came at you and yes it's done. Unless it's an expensive piece it's not to be touched or picked up again.
For example all my kids have charged and blessed crystal bracelets. If they come home and say they lost it or it broke, I make sure they didn't touch it a give them one of the back up ones I have. Sometimes it turns out that some nut almost hit them with the texting and driving, or something happened at school and even though they were close by didn't get affected.
I recharge all their good luck back pack dangles (don't know what they are called) once a month.
But I do cleanse them even when I make them, so the individual pieces that make the item are clean

I wear a a copper wire Spiral talisman that my wife made me everyday. She has charged it for me several times. Today I charged it while watching this video. Turning on my Seichem I held it in my hands and told it to keep me "patient, protected, and positive". I could feel my heart beating into the wire ball and charging it. Normally I have to make a very conscious effort to connect my heartbeat to my energy work, not this time. It pounded until I felt it slowing and grew faint. I could tell it was full so I thanked it and told it to be sealed. Great video, thanks for the reminder:)

1. Cleansing
- put it in a bowl full of salt overnight (or few hours)
- incense/dried herbs
- visualisation (hold it, visualise white light and energy melting off of it and bringing a blank state)
2. Set time and place
- Write down or say out loud your intentions
- Positive (do not say “not” “won’t”)
- Say in present tense (I am protected > I will be protected)
3. Charging
- hold it and take few deep breaths and focus 8:17
- Build up and send down to ur arms to ur piece (think of it like battery and fill it till u feel it can’t hold anymore)
- Close it off with whatever u feel like it will seal it “it is done” “thank u” or kiss it

Remind them that the craft is a completely personal journey and not everyone is going to do everything. Circle casting is not a necessity because there are other ways to preform the same spell or cleansing ritual. While some things may require circle casting, others do not, or they will have alternative ways of doing the thing you are going to do.

Thank you for not just showing smoke clearing. Many places are becoming smoke free (mostly tobacco but anything considered offensive that smokes can be banned) and honestly smoke doesn’t work so well with my throat sometimes.
I found it at a Craft Show my Aunt had a booth at, and Immediately I resonated with the energy the ring gave off. I knew I had to buy it.
My magic works when I do this by kinda ‘re-cleansing’ the jewllery, when you are finished with it you just envisage snow, and sorta ‘suck’ the energy out of it until it’s a clean slate, and then draw the energy to you. Great video!

I would love a video to watch about that before It comes to a point in which I have to go to rehab, If you could.

@@valerieschemicalromance ah! I never expected someone to reply to this a year later haha, yes I'm doing a lot better now, I've went to a mental hospital a few months ago actually. I am still struggling with my eating disorder, sadly, but I've gotten a lot better! I havent practiced witchcraft since this comment I think! its been awhile, I was actually thinking about doing it again a couple days ago actually! I charmed a bracelet made with lava beads and a lion's head on the Aquarius full moon for courage. I also created a courage oil at the same time that I would use to recharge the bracelet. Recently I lost the bracelet, so I took that to mean that I was no longer in need of the bracelet. I'm wondering if other people have lost charms. I've heard of certain stones and crystals leaving you when you're no longer in need of them, so I'm wondering if that's the same for charms?
Sort of along these lines... I charge my crystals pretty regularly, and it's amazing how they help carry it out 😁 There's one I use to help me not feel overwhelmed in crowded places. On some days, it means I'm very happily chatting with strangers without feeling awkward. Other days, my crystal has helped me become invisible so that no one bothers me. REALLY helpful during holiday shopping when 5+ workers approach you with: "Need any help?"
(I know they're doing their job, but having 5+ people ask me that within 10 minutes makes me on edge 😖)
I ALWAYS cleanse all my jewelry or rings and what not when i get it after ordering online or getting it from the second hand shop or thrift shop. I totally wanna see a video on how to make a faery garden or fairy garden how ever you want to spell it. I wanna make one with my daughter

We cleanse things to remove influences, so no, we don't. We increase connection with intentions. We would cleanse something if our own energy got gunky or if it was bought new or given to us by someone we're not as bonded with or to prevent confusion of energies or if worn during a bad argument. Once the intention is set it can then be cleansed to remove other energies that come after & if it feels necessary the intention renewed. Just concentrate, focus on the goal and the relative, feel it, & any ritual that helps you to enact intentions, like lighting a candle for instance or facing their photo too.

Okay so let's say you have a piece that is very special to you and you continuously cleanse and charge it for a bunch of different things. Will that eventually effect it's new purpose over time?
If you want the energies that are in or connected to something, don't clean them off. If it's new & energies unknown or it's exposed to an icky energy, then cleanse it & once should do it, then grasping it & thinking an intention or wearing it during a full moon or etc should be enough to recharge just fine. It's in your intentions, relaxed focus, depth of intention. But if it's right that you should connect with the energy IN an item don't do anything to it, no. Keep the conditions it gets the same type as all along, preserving & keeping its... Idk flow, mojo, or however you like to say it bc people do have different concepts of that energy but it is already charged & enchanted it sounds like. I hope you kept that. If not, will it back in bc it primarily manifests as being present, as a feeling, that's beyond visualizing & not hard to do. An actor can call up a feeling in scene they never experienced... We can call up, re-feel what we HAVE experienced, & deep connections, love for & from a grandparent for instance. We can picture things & go into it. You can call it back. That is a form of charging. The tools are just helpers, to feel it. That's the purpose of ritual at it's core. This isn't one we need help with, if we're seeking or feeling a connection & that's why this item.

Hi! New witch here, your channel is super helpful. I have a question about cleansing salt. After an item is cleansed, do you throw the salt away or can you reuse it for more items? Do you have to cleanse the cleansing salt?
From experience I think it's best to give it back to the earth. Throw it outside of your house or in a forest, or in the wind of a parking lot. Like if you keep it's like holding on the energy you cleased out

Can you charge objects/ jewelry with multiple intentions?
This maybe for my lack of trying, but generally if there is a common goal like getting a job and you find complementary intentions I think it would work very well. If you had different unrelated intentions, then I'm inclined to having not tried that for fear of failure.
I would stick to one, this way the intention will be strong rather than complicating it and ending up with multiple weak intentions that may not end up being effective.
If you incorporate a drop of ur blood when you enchant something it connects it to you and really empowers the enchantment
