@@Punkneverdies welcome! The book Rebel Witch is amazing for beginners. Definitely take some time to practice skills that will help you cast spells-- energy manipulation is a great one! If you can start meditating as well (focusing on something, you don't need to achieve a blank mind really) it's soooo helpful!
I started practicing a year ago too! Having the same problems, I’ve learned so much about myself! It took a narcissist relationship and learning I was raised by narcissists. I could never figure out why I didn’t fit in, or while I felt so differently about thing. I’m proud to say I’m mentally, physically healthy for the first time in my life. ❤

Blessed Be and welcome to the family. I have practiced for almost 20 years now. A great book I would recommend would be " The Goddess is in the details" by Deborah Blake. I reread this book often. Every path and person is different. Do what feels right for you always. Even in the circle that I belonged to we took turns hosting because we all followed different paths and Deities. Some Egypt, some Celtic, some Italian and so on. Good luck in your journey.
This is truly funny to read because I am currently half way through that book and very much enjoying it so far! I’m so new to this as well, I love it !!! I have so much to,learn !!!! Lots of studying to do and lots to learn. I never fit in, I never felt comfortable, but I always know there was something different about me…..I think I found or !
I felt this ❤ I recently went furniture shopping with my friend and whilst looking through fabric for her new couch, the salesperson asked do u prefer velvet/valour? Or the linen? She turned to me and asked "what do u think ' and before I even thought about it I said "I'm a witch so of course I'm going to choose velvet " everyone just looked at me not knowing what to say! It felt AWESOME ❤✨️
My dad and I have a running gag that our genes dispel any kind of supernatural/spiritual activity. I don't think I'll ultimately try anything more witchy than making myself a really delicious tea, lighting a candle, and baking some well spiced banana bread, but I am happy to witness you on your journey and take in anything you want to share along the way. I'll also pass the info along to my (less spiritually stunted than myself) friends. I will say though that the ways in which you describe how exploring witchcraft helped you connect with and reframe aspects of your life in positive ways reminds me of how I felt when I first went vegan. Because I was doing something that resonated with core aspects of my beliefs, it put more parts of my life in harmony. Like in your case, my relationship with food became a lot better and my connection with nature strengthened. I am so glad you found something that lets you experience this. Also like witchcraft, there are a lot of stigmas and assumptions around veganism that can put a person off from looking into it. I'm glad you and I both took the plunge and tried them out for ourselves. I've been vegan for 7 years and counting, I hope that witchcraft continues to help and work for you for many years too.

Your video is so relatable. I have always struggled with my mental health. When my anxiety is really bad I have been known to spends weeks living in a tent, feeling suffocated by the constraints of modern life. I belong to the moon cycles and the outdoors. I spent my childhood bringing the outdoors inside with rocks, sticks, shells. When i started counselling (again) in January I found the best ways to put my gratitude and meditation and hopes into action was through witchcraft. A little hustle along the way was my 17 year old daughter already finding this path and transforming her mindset and life! Blessed be xxx
I just found your channel and I resonate sooo much! I first started dabbling with palmistry and astrological stuff in my teens but then felt like it was a phase I needed to get out of and “grow up”from. My next phase was being very devoted Christian for 10 yrs but during that phase I went into a deep depression, self diagnosed adhd, homeschooling mom. But I ultimately feel like I lost myself over the years. I feel like I put myself in a box that pleased others and not myself. Lately I feel drawn back to the practice in a similar fashion to yours. I have been on the same path for approximately the same amount of years but pushed it away and clung to the nonsense I was being fed until recently my eyes have been opened and all of the lessons that were put in front of me have all come flooding back and making perfect sense. Congratulations on coming out of the broom closet! I'm mostly out except to one of my family members. I've dabbled for the last few years but have mainly read books and watched videos. I have many interests I want to try out, I need to spend more time practicing - just have to remember to enjoy the journey, that's where all the learning happens and not in the destination. Totally agree with tarot being a tool for (self) reflection, it's great to be able to have that sort of inner conversation to figure out things.

I love how personal witchcraft is to the person! Coming up with creative ways to manifest and grounding before each ritual shower is a great way to come down from the day and focus my intention. I just wanted to say how cool it was that you made this video, mostly because what sparked my interest in witchcraft was very close to yours, going to therapy, and while it helped and offered tools but something was missing. I am not in usa but uk. A famous witch was doreen valiente lived not tl far from me. She wrote witchcraft tomorrow.
I am not wiccan but traditional witchcraft folklore. Been on the patb 15 years or so and do coven work too.. traditional is different as its not just religion but the craft. I have had 3 initiation in various covens. Just taken the red cord recently.
So you could call me an aprentice witch, wizarx or saucerer. It covers manny things.. traditional is not so clean as wiccan, ax we work on both the dark and light side oc things.

❤ I’ve always had in interest in witchcraft and Magick, but only made the commitment to myself to start a practice a little over a year ago. It just felt right and the way to my authentic self. I’m interested in learning herbalism and how to connect more with nature and understanding the universal energy. It’s going to be a life long journey but one I’m excited to embrace.

I’m exploring a new chapter in my life and it brought me to your channel. I will definitely search out the resources that you mentioned and I also joined your newsletter. I have a question though. When people say blessed be I can’t help but think of the handmaid’s tale. The words feel like rocks in my mouth and I’m wondering if anyone has a similar experience or what words you could suggest that mean the same
Thanks for joining this lil coven of cuties, Michelle! That means so much to me! I totally get what you mean by the phrase “blessed be” and honestly I do get similar vibes from it sometimes. For me- I just say speak your truth. My phrase lately has been “stay cozy, stay creative, stay weird” because I genuinely wish that for myself and people I care about. Maybe even a simple “Be well” or “Happiness to you and yours” is a nice one I’ve heard before and like. I’d love to hear what anyone else says as an alternative, though!
what is your lip color? It's so complimentary to your skin and hair.

I'm 47 and have ADHD bad, I also have been a solitaire practitioner of tradition Witch Craft, it's been so hard for me because of my ADHD, times I can't focus or see, I came into my craft about the time I was getting sober, yep a dark place, soooooon is it hard for you to stay focused??
Jennifer, I completely feel you on this one! Hell yeah I struggle with staying focused- right there with you!! 🫣🤣 BUT- one thing I take comfort in is knowing that witchcraft is totally personalized and there is no “one way” to practice. Right now, I’m just enjoying following my impulses- reading about plant allies and magical properties of nature in the morning and getting into crystals by night. I like to refer to it as *delightfully chaotic*. It might not look like someone else’s curated and focused practice- but it’s OURS. We can make it work for us and our brains, and I think that is so beautiful. Releasing expectations and allowing myself to be just as I am is one of the main reasons I love practicing most! Your techniques are beautiful, I thank you so much for sharing, for me it's my ancestors that help guide me, I have also felt and seen in just the past couple weeks the more I let go of what does not serve me the more doors and blessings are flowing in, meditation helps kinda of if I can sit still long enough lol, also Its hard for me to learn things, but this is my passion, I won't give up, love and blessings to you and ur beautiful journey, the Stone Witch

Witchcraft as an idea has been popping up more in my mind and in my online feeds, especially when learning that some of my habits and interests could be seen as pretty witchy! 🪄It is stories like yours that soothe my nerves about possibly opening up myself to a different version of spirituality that I haven't heard of before until recently. Your connections between witchcraft and well-being resonate with me too; I see the overlap between things I've learned from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (to better my physical and mental health when I hit a "rock bottom" some years ago now) and mindfulness rituals in developing a personal "craft". 💖
That book was dumb! That book was for kids exploring witchcraft. But in a silly manner.
Who cares what others say? If they don’t like it they can watch something else. Be yourself and it will all work out fine.
