crazy how malls just vanish. ive seen many close over the years, and thankfully the two main malls we have are thriving more than ever. so many people on the weekends it's like bumper to bumper traffic
The 2 nearby malls from here are Sandusky Mall and Great Norhtern Mall. Both are doing well and are nicer. This mall is a dump with the exception of the food court extension. Hey I do love the food court entrance of this mall but that's all.
Its not just the mall that's dead. but also the surrounding area. There is at least 3-4 closed up restaurants, a closed bank, and a complex of closed stores across the street.
Hey is it true that a Rv place was supposed to move in the old JCPenney man it's such a shame that this mall is like this hopefully that they can do something with it rather then letting it set great video Alex keep up the good work that's crazy about the filming policy here
Nine months later, and the deal still hasn't closed, but it's getting close. Proposals have been submitted by a few different developers and what they'd do with the space. The mall didn't just die. Eight years of Obama caused it to just slowly bleed out, and at this point, it has no pulse, but it just hasn't died yet. The stragglers will get evicted once they're ready to move forward with what they eventually want to do with it.
I exhibited in a bridal show there years ago. Sad to see yet another mall bite the dust.

Enjoyed the info and great work!
When I went, there was a lady that followed us around the entire mall (we were filming). I wonder if it was the same lady that yelled at you.

The Dillards was actually a higgbees before it became a Dillards.
Great video
So many malls are dead in Ohio. Abandoned malls too.
Yeah but The Dude at Georges Jewelry told me he has NEVER seen a Hot topic leave a mall... like they are ride or die...and THEY LEFT THERE
The only traffic this place gets is walkers, I walk here in the winter. Other than that it’s basically dead.
Is this mall still open?
Yes for now
