I got a couple spinning reels from them for less than $10 and they are great. I was skeptical but put 2000 size to work on a bunch of smallmouth last week, and it handled all the abuse I could give it.
I have bought two over head reels for catching King Fish > Salmon > Snapper and they have performed extremely well and I am 100% happy with them... I have also bought terminal tackle + other items ... Great service and arrive on time.. No complaints... ( I live in Sydney Australia )
Thanks Richard,I've been seeing more and more people doing reviews on temus fishing products and I have to say I'm pretty impressed.i personally have not purchased anything from them but I might be changing my mind.thanks for the video brutha🤘have a good day
Sougayilang makes some pretty good quality rods and reels. I've using 2 ultralight spinning reels for over 4 years now. I use them for trout and panfish. I have pulled in a 4 lb bass not intentionally. I have a Sougayilang BFS rod that is just super high quality. Every thing that I've bought has been under $25. Kastking and Sougayilang have very similar products. Both good quality products. I really can't see myself buying a Diawa or Shimano reel that cost 4 or 5 times as much with less features and far less ball bearings. I've had the Temu app downloaded for a couple of weeks now. You have almost got up my confidence in them. Now I just have to convince my wife. 😅 Thanks....I'll check out more of your videos.
I have been skeptical about getting a fishing rod and reel from them, but I've gotten a bit of stiff from temo and been quite impressed. I personally got a smart watch for 5$ thinking it was worth the risk, and the speaker and microphone are not the best, but it works as a smart watch. Don't expect the highest quality, but I haven't been let down with a single purchase and they have done everything advertised.
Wow that is a pretty and nice looking reel Richard! Please share with us you fishing with it. $1.26. I'll take 4 of them lol I've always been alittle leery about ordering from companies I'm not sure about but dang, you got a great deal and I'm happy you did. Good luck can't wait to see what you pull in with it.
@@Whyd-you-at-me Really happened, I'd share a screenshot of the refund if I could. I think the delivery person just f--ed up and forgot to scan package upon delivery, so USPS thinks it's lost. I did that buy 1 get for 4 free new user deal and paid $16.35, so I can understand why they refunded that, but the $46.57 was unexpected. They gave me the full value of the free stuff, maybe since they thought I was pissed off from losing my very first order🤷
I have bought hooks, rings, unpainted lure blanks. Last week I bought a $10 baitcaster that works like a dream. I have ordered jigheads and jig hair also. It's amazing!!! No issues yet
Their Lenovo earbuds are great ! Only ten bucks and straight from the Factory. They also sell authentic Nintendo Wii. for 239, then it went back up to 293.00,. lol. I missed it when it was 239.00
I bought a 'micro' reel from them. My only thought was the reel was a bit bigger than I was expecting, but I put it on a smaller Ugly Stick and it will work well for that I think. I seen Wallyworld sells that brand. I've ordered from temu last week, swim baits, 5in long. I'll change the hooks and try it out. Ordering some peg bobbers as soon as I see I get the items already ordered
I don't play when it comes to my fishing gear. I spend the extra $$ for my rods & reels. Baits & knives I'll go cheap on. Temu was sued by the US & they are not allowed to show pics of things that are fake like many other Chinese sites do. Main issue for me is, I've bought & had a ton of Chinese stuff sent because i used to be a reviewer & it takes about a month to 2 months for me in TX. Temu is backed by most all popular payment systems like, PayPal, Google Pay, etc. So they are real. Just read the dimensions of the product before buying & all reviews
Ive dealt with temu a lot. This is how they explained to me. The manufacturers make stuff in blocks. Say a company wants 1200 reels. The manufacturer will sell blocks if 1k. Which leaves like 800 left over the main company paid for but didnt take. It dont get a branding stamp and they sell it generically. Its the overburden before changing the manufacturing process to the next product. Abu garcia has their own channel on temu. Also their return process has been phenomenal. Ive sentba few things back with no hassle. They genuinely have no problem giving you back your money. Some thibgs ivwas unhappy with and they told me to keep it and still gave my money back. Ive been pleased with every order ive placed.
I thought the same things, but my wife broke the ice and had no issues. !!!WARNING!!! !!!WARNING!!! Temu can become addictive!! Looking forward to the reel review!
A lot of stuff from them and for the most part. Very, very well worth it when you consider price. Seems to be pretty legit. Doesn't take too long to get your orders filled and received.
I get things like lures, jigheads and other cheap stuff from Temu and it's not the best quality out there but it's very cheap. Anyway I got a free multitool and a free Sougayilang 4000 overhead reel. Both seem fine, although the reel isn't something I use, I do light weight lure fishing in streams and estuaries etc. If they did a 'round' overhead baitcaster reel like a size 100, 150 or 200 Ambassadeur I'd definitely try it. Looking forward to your review.
If you ain’t gonna use it then maybe give it to a kid who’s down the river with his dad or grandad, make some kids day pal . 🙏 it’s better than it being on a shelf in the shed or garage . 👍
My wife and I have ordered quite a bit of stuff from them and only had one thing that wasn't the size it said. Ordered 12/0 catfish hooks and they came as small number 12 hooks. Other than that, everything has been really good.
Thanks for checking out the video and for the comment! I have run into that before on hooks.. they say 9 or 10/0 and ya get #9 or #10... I'm glad your other experiences have been good! If you want some great hooks check out River Cats Tackle hooks.. I been using them for a while and had great luck. Use promo code RC10 and save ya 10% too!
I’ve bought several smaller items from them with no problem. Only problem I have is the notifications will worry you to death. I tried turning them off but they keep popping back up. I hear a bunch of people saying to delete the app is dangerous. It could be because it Chinese. I buy American when I can but, you talking pennies on the dollar. Great video buddy.
I buy tons of stuff off of Temu. Clothes and shoes run small size wise. But almost everything I've ordered was fine. I've got a bunch of knock off whopper poppers that work great and catch fish. Try them out.
Ive ordered maybe 7-8 times from them , no complaints , I got exactly what i ordered and the 1 time the order was a day late of the expected delivery, they give me a $5 credit without me having to ask, I did get a hat that came apart in the washing machine tho .. $1,50 hat
It is extremely expansive to develop a new customer nowadays, It's Temu's fortune to just spent $40 some dollars to develop a good customer and youtuber like you. I know the brand, Sougayilang, in Chinese it reads 搜噶一郎 which sounds very "Japanese", meaning they copied some core tech from Japanese products. Sougayilang is a good brand to me, especially its value for the money.
Only stuff I scored on Wish was terminal gear except for a collapsible spinning rod for a Mitchell 300 spooled with 20lb braid to haul in the tour pack on my Harley EG Ultra Classic. Paid $4 and change. TEMU sells them too.. Sougayilang. That and a single level tacklebox with both fresh and salt lures is a great way to find new spots. I have fishing licenses for Pa, NJ, and De and a 5 gallon tank LOL
Ive ordered a ton of stuff. I have no complaints. Especially with the flies and lures ive ordered. The waybit was explained to me is this is unbranded overburden from manufacturing process.
Bought a spinning reel and am happy with my purchase, Bought rod tip ends for repair- not happy because they are too small for my rods. Hit or miss but at .89 for the tips not a big loss.
I dont think ill ever buy reels there, but the lures i've bought are catching me fish and so far they've been just as durable if not more than some name brands.

i bought a gel blaster gun it broke the second i took it out but i did also order and stainless steel holographic tactical knife and i must say it is very sharp and i still use it for fishing today! had it for about 4 months no problem at all1 would i buy from temu again? No. am i happy? Yes.
thx for the entertaining video. I live in Germany and have bought several things from TEMU ... all have arrived fine, some crap, but the majority is fine. If something is wrong, size, etc, they refund you right away.
Only problem that I have had with mine is that the screws come loose on the sides from vibrations in the back of the truck. I just put some glue on the screws and they held fine after that
I’ve been using one of these reels for 4 years caught multiple 60+ pound blues. I paid 27$ for it and 11 ft cat buster rod paid 29$for the rod and for real best setup I’ve used. Saying that I’m a cheap a$$ and have never bought a reel that cost more then 50$
If you had to put a bad review on an item no matter when you bought it, you getman instant refund and they don't even bother about if you return the item or not, I bought stuff from Temu for almost $700 so far for less than a year, all ky fishing gears and bait are from them and only one reel I bought was broke down and that's when I got an instant refund regardless how much you spend on that market platform you still appreciated.
So far everything I have order has been good love the prices on there oh I was also thinking it would be like wish but this is beder then wish when they 7days it in if not there is a 5dollor credit back to you in if it's later they well refund the money back for a credit on your next order
I buy from them almost every week and I'm been really satisfied and my wife started buying from them with no complaints 10.00 minimum and free shipping 😊
Been avoiding it. After watching your video, I browsed the fishing clearance items. Ordered 60 plus dollars worth for 20 something. Used Paypal, so hopefully that protects me somewhat. It's a bummer they list many jigs in grams. Or don't list a size at all. We'll see what shows up. Lol.
A lot of their Metal Lures are zinc alloy, with a multi colored coating of bluish, purple, ect. Great reel for 1.26, Lol. If it Spins A bearing, and Vapor Locks, Use it as a fishing weight. Affordable for Struggling Parents with Kids.
Didn't know that about their lures.. I will check em out! And yea if the thing lasts 6 months it was worth trying.. that was kinda my intention with the whole temu video was not to advertise for them but to tell folks that may be struggling or on a tight budget that it was safe to buy from them so they could still get cheaper gear and get out on the water. Thanks for watching and for the comment!
All my fishing kit is cheap , like £35 or 40 dollars for rod and reel , line and a spinner , I've had it for years , I've got 2x10 foot . 1x8 foot 1x7 foot , all spinning reels for rock fishing, after 9 years I've only had one reel break ( my fault as it sat for years not being used , and I've caught some big Pollock with them , great price to try a new hobby ,
@@Holleywood_ just google Temu 50pcs/box Paddle Tail Swimbaits, they have 2 and 4 inch and come in a box divided into 5 different colors. ive used the kit for like 2 years now and i literally mean 100s of fish, the 2 inch slay crappie, im normally a keitech guy buy wanted to try some cheaper options, You can even put a bead of superglue on the nose of the bait and butt it up agaist a 1/8th ballhead jig and you can use the same bait for a month, very durable great action, they have no attractant so i like to put like 10 in a freeezer bag with some scent to spice them up a bit
Before I get accused of advertising for Chinese Companies, let me just say that, I'm not Crazy about either one of the Most known one, like TEMU and Alibaba/AliExpress (owned by the same Chinese Man). I’ve been using one of these reels for 4 years caught multiple 60+ pound blues. I paid 27$ for it and 11 ft cat buster rod paid 29$for the rod and for real best setup I’ve used. Saying that I’m a cheap a$$ and have never bought a reel that cost more then 50$
Don't know how you got that price they are listed at 49 right now
After that reel grenades in your face you might reconsider getting a higher quality reel 😅
@jeffwhiteside they were running a deal on em.
@@Denofugrenades in his face?? It's not a firecracker lol
@@Gstar5150 you clearly haven't caught any 50+ pounders if you don't know what that meant
My ol mans favorite reel his his Temu Sougayliang. And he was a Diawa man.
Let's see it working please, and how long it lasts
I have bought dozens of items from there and never had any problems
Let me know when they make a dc baitcasting reel with a drag clicker 👌
Ordered lawn and landscaping products. No issues and way cheaper than Lowes/HD or Walmart even. Never left the house.
I buy from them almost every week and I'm been really satisfied and my wife started buying from them with no complaints 10.00 minimum and free shipping 😊
cool deal ty brother looks good btw nice shirt buddy lol
I got one full size bait caster 1.86 held up to a day on the lake
1x8 foot
1x7 foot , all spinning reels for rock fishing, after 9 years I've only had one reel break ( my fault as it sat for years not being used , and I've caught some big Pollock with them , great price to try a new hobby ,
their bulk pack of 50 swimbaits for 3.50 is actually so legit i still have some and they actually have great action
What brand did you get? I am looking for some cheap swimbaits to try out for trailers and jig heads.
I just ordered 5 line counter reels from them waiting for delivery.
Thanks for buying American
Sometimes you just don't know until you try and for less than a $1.50 why not. Good job I say!
Before I get accused of advertising for Chinese Companies, let me just say that, I'm not Crazy about either one of the Most known one, like TEMU and Alibaba/AliExpress (owned by the same Chinese Man). But if you think TEMU has low prices, then you ain't heard of aforementioned 2 owned by the dude. I've been an a Freelance Outdoor and Science writer since 1983.
