- I recently received a whole bunch of stuff from Temu to test out and make a couple of RUclips Shorts on. I've bought some things from Temu before and have done a few videos on the channel about this relatively new online market place that offers cheap prices and free shipping (mostly). So when they reached out to see if I wanted to test a few more products, I decided I would give it a try. I picked out a lot of stuff from their website, in this video, I'll go through the products I picked out from Temu and give you some first impressions on it. Some of the products I've already used a bunch of times and so I'll tell you how those products are holding up so far. Yes I have and cought my pb on the jerk baits better then stuff in bait shops keep themu videos

Seems like it’s a good budget option. Especially for some of that fishing gear that so easily gets lost.

Great to hear that companies are reaching out to you Jason, to help promote their products. There's some decent products you shared there. The spoons and pack look a bit flakey.
The spoons were very cheaply made.
The backpack was decent, just not big enough

The hooks are sharp, they are pretty sturdy, they have nice detail to them.
I've actually caught some nice fish on them.
Plus if they get snagged they're cheap so it's not like losing an $8.00 Googan lure.

I am very cautious about Temu. It just seems like it's another Wish, or Ali Express, or Ali Baba. Yes, the items are incredibly inexpensive, but that doesn't mean that the quality is any good.
For things like weights and hardware things (like the tackle box) is fine. If you go to Walmart it’s coming from china anyway. But things like poles, electronics, clothes, etc is completely different
My 10yo daughter been on a Temu reel and rigging for a year now, imo better quality than a low range Shimano FX/Okuma Revenger.
We've eaten fish from her outfit and now I know she enjoys the hobby I can safely spend the money on a "real" outfit on her bday.
Plenty of hidden gems in China if you do the work to find them.
I find most stuff is decent for the price, its almost the same as whats being sold on Amazon anyway.
Exactly, it's all coming from the same warehouses/factories it's just that Amazon is taking their cut too.

I they sent you a bunch of junk, be honest. Not saying i wouldn't take it for free.
This video was filmed a month ago. Since I filmed this, I've used almost everything a couple times. The only thing I would say is complete junk is the inline Mepps style spinner baits.
Other than that, everything has been decent. I will be talking about the back pack in next week's video.
I can/will do a follow up video to let everyone know how stuff has held up or worked out.
