Hey Justin! That was some very interesting gear that they sent you. If it inspires more people to get outdoors and experience what Ma Nature has to offer for the first time... or in a long time for that matter, it is a good thing!
Braid doesn't stretch so much. It doesn't bird nest so bad. I like it well enough. I have been using mono since I was a kid in the 60s. Looks like Christmas Morning ! Frank
Awesome video Justin and the gear for that low of a price looks incredible. I can hardly wait until you get to go out and try all the gear out. I really think it's going to perform just fine. Take care Justin and keep the videos coming buddy, God bless 🙌 🙏.
i have had my eye on some of that temu fishing gear ive noticed they got some different colors they got some glow in the dark hooks look like they got a glowstick on em now imma wait n see how they work out for you fishin before i order some i own one of them assisted open crkt knives and its a good knife kind hard to sharpen but holds a good edge once sharpened
JFYI: CRKT stands for Columbia River Knife & Tool. In case you want to look them up online or something. My Husband is the Camping & Hard goods Manager at a Sportsman’s Warehouse store & they sell them.
Lot of folks have. Ive been trying to get the fish to bite since all the flooding here but no luck so i havnt even taken the temu stuff out yet. I done been called a sellout and all kinda stuff for doing a video on it but i wanted people to know if its worth anything or not. We gonna really find out soon
I have the eagle claw , it collaps smaller, the spinning reel is OK, but I prefer quick fire spinning reels, but I really like mine , fits in my back pack nicely, back pocket , ect. It will land a nine bass, or trout , small Hamer handle pike, Awsome for crappie n gills. . Great hiking camping fish pole .
We will know before summer is over. Im gonna try it out . It feels good actually. Most of temu stuff is made on the same assembly line as the name brands unless they are truly an American manufacturer brand.
@@dort7402 thanks, I have a couple of eagle claw. They are small when collapsed. I carry them in my 6' whitewater kayaker to get in some really remote areas
@independentthinker8930 we do as well , we love to to hit them small lakes in the middle of nowhere and the only way to get there is hike in , set up camp and enjoy a nice fish lunch or dinner from some great tasting fish , mushrooms, berries ect. We really like how small the claw collapse down. Great survival tool if needed. I'm sure Justin will be happy with his goodies. Temu has alot of Awsome products. I play guitar and some of the effects pedals are pretty good . I always look up vids of folks who have purchased and reviewed them on the tube. And if folks are worried about purchasing with bank card or credit card, use a prepaid card.
You will have to shae your experience and how to use braid. Ive never used braid at all. Do you use same knots and does backlash bad or ????? On those rod handles heat skrink tubing gives a decent feel.
That' reel is a good one baitcaster and spin caster or open bale my son got the fly fishing reel and pole like the look and works out okay for me. Not the middle class but good lower class reel and Pole but got the cool factor for it not plann looking like others company for the same range of 💰-🎣 I got the reel Greenish blue with gold and rod carbon fiber with clear and Gold fixtures perfect so far. but I don't think the bearings are not that good I want to put in ceramic roller bearings. My next thing to do before spring. But is ok stuff
Some of that looks pretty decent. I've ordered from Temu and sometimes its a hit or miss but i knew that when ordering. I mean what can you expect for $2 to $3 bucks. 😆 Those telescoping rods look pretty good. Hope all of it works good on the water.
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors yea water still up here too. We gonna take the atv up to Chotard and stay at the cabin next weekend and do some riding and stop along these ditches and fish. See what we catch. 😄
My wife "won"a free temu spinning reel by playing the games on the app, but it came in right before hunting season and I hadn't been fishing since, but maybe it will turn out as good as that one looks and we can load the cooler down soon
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors oh we have tons of stuff, I am currently wearing a pair of temu tennis shoes, and I ordered a pair on ankle high rubber boots for work that I have put dozens of miles on. There have been a small handful of things that weren't worth having, but the overwhelming majority has been surprisingly decent. Lot of stocking stuffers/dirty Santa kinda stuff came in between thanksgiving and Christmas lol
Man, that is a verifiable Plethora... a virtual Cornucopia, if you will, of Happy, Happy Happy!! Too bad about them ferro rod striker dooeys. Maybe you could hit the striker on a belt grinder and just knock the paint off, but you shouldn't have to work on a brand new device for it to do its job. That CRKT pigsticker would be good in a tacklebox. Them baits look like they might get bit! You gonna have to learn you some new knots with that braid. It don't tie like mono. It don't hardly stretch, you be careful not to snatch them perch's lips slam off. But it sure seems to reduce lost baits if you are using a wire hook that will straighten out if you pull hard enough. I tried it out when Buck was a calf and went back to Trilene XT.
Good morning Justin, ya gots some decent stuff right there. Some folks will probably frown about where it's made , but wally world sells same stuff just under different name for more $ , truthful i was skeptical but needed something so had da wife order it and not to shabby , but like anything a person gotta pic n choose the products. Can't wait to see the fishing vids, start a fire with feral rod, ect.
@SpiritoftheOutdoors exactly , I'm good with it for now. But some folks say alot of stuff , yet run to wally n buy same things lol. I got some guitar strap locks and there just as good as fender, shealler, ect. And at $2.50 a pair compared to $36 . But folks gotta watch be cautious ect.
@@dort7402 yea those ferro rods i got were way smaller than they looked and i wouldn’t have em as my main thing for sure . But out of the lot that was the only disappointing thing so now to put some work on it and see if it will take the abuse i give stuff. The rod tip on the crappie pole should be softer for my taste but it was ment for bigger fish . I find most crappie rods stiff at academy sports other day. One i liked was $75
I think some of it the same stuff that is expensive but some of it is the same stuff that is junk so you have to really look at it good so see what it is or read the reviews

Awesome i ordered some of that braid i like it ant for six dollars compared to the other brands for 25 dollars cant beat it
braid the fg knot to leader u need a leader mate fluro or mono leader
Wonder how the telescoping rod compares with the eagle claw rod

We gonna find out on the knots. I dont have any on a bait caster yet.

That is what im wanting to find out myself. After all the rain we had the crappie still wont bite here

Looks like your all set ...
I think the under-spins and plastics will yield a ton of crappie. I run a floro or mono leader👍❤️🇺🇸
How many feet of leader you use. 2? Or closer to 6?
I had a bad xperiance with temu...have they become more accurrate in shipping what you ordered?
Every thing i have ordered has been exact. Ive placed several orders. Mr Davis sent me some gear last year from them was good stuff
Teamu will make it right no problems and pay you $5 exchanges ect. No shipping costs hardly.
My wife "won"a free temu spinning reel by playing the games on the app, but it came in right before hunting season and I hadn't been fishing since, but maybe it will turn out as good as that one looks and we can load the cooler down soon
Most of what i get there seems ok honestly. Now its not top of the line for sure but as good as anything you go buy at walmart.

I lose a lot of baits in the swamp using 4 lb line

90 % of what we own is made in china. Even the many of the made in usa brands are made there and stamped here

Sorry brother but that's a load of BS in my opinion
We gonna see when the water goes down here
Thank you so much for everything you do! 😀
