Brilliant. This is one of those jigs, where you say to yourself, "why didn't I think of that?". This will be a staple in my shop. Thank you for sharing.
By showing the finished product and what to use it for right from the beginning, then followed by how to make it , it is how instructional video should be made. Only a few other You Tubers make theirs your way. Thank you for both the jig and how lessons should be made.
That is freaking awesome I love it I'm just not a 100% sure what that metal Brass bushing is Or what department To find that in So I can make my own setup But thank you for sharing That
I've never seen someone drive a screw head into wood to secure it and ensure it's flush. How resilient is this method and what materials is this limited to? I imagine that hardwoods would be more likely to crack, but softwoods would work well enough.
Harder woods may need a bit of chiseling in advance. Soft woods will likely just assume the shape if there's a pilot hole large enough, as you can see here.
I've done it many times, almost exclusively in hardwoods. Works great but I prefer using a large washer and a nut on the opposite side to drive in the screw head. Better control than hammering.
one of the best, simple, and inexpensive router jigs on the internet!
Great jig. I work stupid sometimes, so this will really help!
🤣🤣thank you for watching

So inventive, so precise. You’re a thinking man’s woodworker!

Very cool. Much easier than setting up a dado blade.

Will this work to create a rabbet on the end of a board? Half the jig would have no support....
Hello from Okinawa! Awesome jig, love your channel!

No dimensions or plans? Why?
great idea
That is a very good jig!!!!

Very good Idea for precise groove milling

It can be applied to any tree by adjusting the screw head groove.
Hardwood has a slightly wider groove / Softwood has a narrower groove.

WOW!!! Nice 👍
Great jig. I think it's time to upsize your routers. A tad underpowered.
Supper! Thanks
