Those were my thoughts when I first watched death note. I assumed that those smiles only were inside lights mind rather than outside even though the way they animated it seemed like he smiled right in front of L's face 😂
@@zander8485 You know that antagonist doesn't have to be villians, right? The antagonist is just the principal opponent or foil of the protagonist. L is an antagonist even though he is an hero while light is an villian even though he is the protagonist.

I think his scream is the last glimpse we see of Light’s humanity Just for a few seconds he is completely overwhelmed at the insanity and horrificness of the crimes he’s committed; until he “snaps back” - almost as a form of self-preservation.
Don’t give him that much props, all was becuase of light and misa’s fault, first light in the second episode, and than misa for revealing the shinagami eyes and the shinigamis itself.
Sometimes I see a Crunchyroll clip and think this is just what I needed to Reminisce > other times I end up re-watching the whole show 😂 keep the clips coming crunchy❤️
