- The Egg Sitter Cushion is supposedly so comfortable, you can sit on an egg and it won't break. In the commercial, an egg is seen remaining intact as a woman sits on the cushion with the egg on top. Inside Edition hit the road to find out just how accurate the commercial is. Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero went to an egg farm in upstate New York to test the cushion. The farmer’s daughter, Vanessa, was the first to test the cushion with an egg. #InsideEdition

Okay so many variables could be at play here.
One. This expirment lacked a control group. Preferably you would have two. One with a metal foldable chair and one with a standard office chair. This way you can see if it's really the cushion doing the heavy lifting or any cushion will suffice.
Another thing you have to consider is how tension is spread throughout the cushion. Having a bigger person spreads out the tension therefore making it hard to crack. Hence why it cracked on the clear bowl test.
