Austin played more basketball then he had every played..keep in mind prior to his breakout season he played in Summer leagues that summer, was in the development program, he couldn't get time off like the very good players. Then he broke out ,played heavy minutes, played deep inton the playoffs from Play in to WCF, then played that summer by the time camp rolled around his legs were shot, I knew it would happen, I saw it when I watched him play..He was fighting Fatugue and trying to play up to his contract..he would never say it but folks who know ball knew it.
Like others have said, it keeps the wheels greased . An Honor to play for your Country.. None of them will play heavy minutes. When camp rolls aroun in the Autumn they will be ready..

Its complicated to perform with no rest. Last season Reaves struggled, he said recently that he couldn't work in his game like he's doing this preseason. He didn't have a preseason, he went straight away to training camp and play 82 games but wasn't the same player from 2023 PO.
I already said that their gonna be worn out by the end of the year, the NBA season is a grind, so all the people that think they will be fine don't say nothing when they don't play to what you expect.
