Storm is busted, You only need to give storm to one spell That isn't supposed to have it. Even with a storm count of like two or three, that alone can win the game. Give storm to am extra turn spell and everyone will just scoop
It is very funny to see you evaluate cards in commander because you do so from a very "Standard" mindset and leads you to some very off considerations. For example, a 4 cost commander is very reasonable and doesn't need to be as strong as a 4 drop in Standard to be good, especially in the current very fast Standard. Also, while you have 3 opponents to worry about removal from, each of them have 3 opponents to spend their removal against, so it comes out pretty infrequently. Storm might have some classic Storm pieces, but she really wants more Haste and Doublestrike providers, as well as cool (or efficient) spells to spend them on. Adding "Storm, Storm" to a Jeska's Will or Genesis Ultimatum, even if the Storm count is only 2-3, is good and fun enough that it replaces the typical pay-offs for Storm Decks
Valgavoth is a seriously sweet commander. Genuinely shocked it's the first group slug precon they've made, cutting the additional sac/aristocrat theme and adding more group slug makes it *extremely* consistent!
I dont play mtg anymore but like to check out a Dev vid from time to time. Having Storm and Captin 'murica as the top 2 commanders made me nope out though, so lame, what have they done to my boy etc. Back to the ten random cards vids!
Nekusar was the first commander deck i built. Usually its not get in politics unless im just letting everyone draw cards and holding back. But resolving Sigil of Sleep on Nekusar and playing any wheel spell in the deck makes me laugh.
5minutes in, but I’ve seen some gameplay with Storm and she can go insane really easy. Crim built a meme mill deck and won, but the Goldfish meta kind of allowed for it so 🤷
Hey Dev! You often call Yuriko a ninja deck and let me tell you... it's not. It just plays Yuriko forever and flips big cost cards of the top to burn all the table at the same time. They mostly play low cost unblockable creatures and ninjutsu Yuriko in from the commander zone (always only for 2 mana, because Commander Ninjutsu is broken)
Or that she was never married/is unmarried/doesn’t consider her marital status relevant. There is a rather famous feminist magazine called Ms. Magazine. For those wondering it’s pronounced “miz”
The only reason I don't like the Marcel charavters is because Wizards sucks at selling secret lairs... 3 and a half hours in line only to get shut down sucks...
As a bumbleflower main, she is in fact a really fun commander. She's great for 4 player commander because she's good to use in table politics
I love how all the Nivs work perfectly with each other
maybe they'll finally stop making him now that they're at eight

My playgroup generally agrees that "expensive" commanders start at 4 cmc

I just recently made a Giada commander deck, and a Xenagos commander deck. My gf just made an Oloro lifegain deck.
Those are definitely cards of all time.

I usually skip those but came to this so to each their own lol
Loving the updates on the top commanders, keep it up! 🃏👍
The Valgavoth precon is what got me back into paper magic.
You my spirit animal dev
Didn't know you played much Brawl, would love to see some Dev-brand Brawl content!

algorithim comment + i love you
I use ajani from MH3 for commander 😄🙂😂

I had a tabletop poison deckmany many years ago with Firewhip and the dwarf that makes little dudes unblockable...
Currently building Balen in paper.

It's actually Ms. Bumbleflower, not Miss (pronounced differently), and the implication is that she's a divorcé.

I’m brewing greensleeves maro-sorcerer rn
I wanna build a Krenko standard deck too! Let me know what you end up with.
Storm force of nature is very powerful

I don't know anyone brewing Marvel. Conpiracy theory: someone was hired to ensure Universes Beyond cards made it to the top of the list.
Maybe more commander players exist other than those you know personally.
II think if you're going to dip into commander content, you should be aware of the most recent precon decks.
Colossus hammer isn't that great in the deck. It's like the opposite strategy. High cost equips. No need to attack
Excalibur card from Assassin's Creed fits the bill nicely.
