That doesn’t seem like the right way to treat customers. The oxidation process is a mechanical issue that will only get worse over time. by the time B770 is released RTX 5070 will replace RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 will be 35 percent cheaper. if Intel wants to gain market share in gaming DGPUs it should release a 64 Xe Core 8192 ALU Arc B990 with 32 GB 512 bit 26 Gbps GDDR6 memory (Battlemage microarchitecture does not support GDDR7) and price it at 699 dollars.

The people have been waiting since 2022 for Battlemage. Zen 5, Intel 14th Gen, RTX 4000 SUPER, all hyped up to have big 20% upgrades. Every single one of them has been a disappointment. No Arrow Lake for 14th Gen, not even a double-digit increase for Zen 5, and most people don't care about the 4000 SUPER series now. All of these "Wait for X" videos are made to keep you hooked for MONTHS. Just buy what you actually want to buy. Even some $600 laptop with an RTX 4050 inside can get you performance similar to the highest end desktops from 6-8 years ago. EVERYTHING will become obsolete, so waiting 2 years for something just for it to be obsolete in 3 months is quite literally, a really dumb idea.

I'll believe it when I see it. IF it is true I think a lot of the low-end market is going to go team blue, cuz Nvidia/AMD have made it clear they don't give a shit about that segment of the market with the total shit cards they have been making. the 7600/4060 have 8GB VRAM... in 2023... on a 128-bit bus... WHAT A FUCKIN JOKE FOR $300 USD. If the 5060 comes out, and its faster than the B770 even 25% faster but it still has the 8GB VRAM and costs $400 USD are you really going to tell me that you're not going to go for the B770... and we already know that is exactly what Nvidia has in mind, they don't intend to put more than 8GB on any card that costs less than $500 USD.

If the 580 is as good as I hope it will be my card, its the right price and a good card to replace a 1650 super. I have a 12400f cpu and I don't plan to replace it so the 580 could be a good fit.
Wait for what bro? Stop saying shit like this. You never say a bad thing about a launch. Intel is going down, Nvidia is insane and AMD isn't marginally better. What's the point in getting people's hopes up?
After years of waiting i finally realised its not them ,its me . I just have to earn more till it doesn't effect me how much they sell their products for.😊😊
I seriously doubt this lineup will come out and you should certainly not entertain buying them. I bough a 580 and it simply oquld not run most any games i play. Crashes and visial glitches galore. Also, they arent really serious bout the future of arc so future support seems unlikely. Seriously.. but amd for value 1080p gaming or nvidia for that high tier like 16gb TiSuper.
BattleMage is DOA, drivers will still be shitty, it will compete against Blackwell and RDNA 4. It was supposed to launch a year ago, also Intel killed their Arc division, this will be the last dedicated GPU, Celestial and Druid won't be available as a stand alone card, and only possibly a mobile version. Great GPU.
Excellent graphics.
I have a770 8gb it beat the 4060ti 8gb especially in VR
I'm buying the b770 or the better one if they have a better one
Same. It would be a massive upgrade over my 2080 by far@@owomushi_vr
The gamers' community isn't cohesive enough to boycott Nvidia and bring down the prices. Let's hope Intel does what we couldn't.
As long as they keep making low profile models, I'm in
If it beats a 4070 for both cheaper and without that stupid power connector every nvidia card above a 4070 sells with, it's an easy decision for me to buy.
I’m rooting for Intel here. Hope they can pull it off.
They should cut the price for the GPU as compensation for the Intel 13th and 14th generation debacle.
Given the recent corrosion issues with Intel processors and their response to customers, I would avoid buying Intel hardware...
@@vothrac3829 but they will use tsmc for GPU so the same as Nvidia or amd
@@matgaw123 That's ok. I'm more concerned about how they treat the customer in these kind of situations.
They sold a defective product, confirmed the issue, and their only solution was to promise a BIOS update. But what will that achieve? Increase the voltage so the mechanical degradation seems less dramatic for now, while making an already power-hungry CPU even more power-hungry (especially compared to Ryzen)? That doesn’t seem like the right way to treat customers. The oxidation process is a mechanical issue that will only get worse over time. They should have offered replacements or at least discounts toward non-defective CPUs to retain customer trust and protect their reputation
@@vothrac3829 Last I heard there is a completely different team leading the gpu side and as far as we've seen they do take notes from thr community
by the time B770 is released RTX 5070 will replace RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 will be 35 percent cheaper. if Intel wants to gain market share in gaming DGPUs it should release a 64 Xe Core 8192 ALU Arc B990 with 32 GB 512 bit 26 Gbps GDDR6 memory (Battlemage microarchitecture does not support GDDR7) and price it at 699 dollars.
As if anyone is gonna buy Intel after the whole 13th and 14th gen fiasco and Intel's response to not do a recall on the customers.
that whole issue should reduce the price of these cards hopefully
I would not be surprised if Intel scraps Battlemage and lays off the entire GPU division. They are in mass cost cutting mode after their multi billion dollar loss.
Either the price is correct, or the performance. Not both. They aren't going to give 4070 performance for $300-$350
Bros making people hyped 😂 maybe a 4060 TI for £350 at best
Honestly I'm just gonna keep waiting, the graphics card market is so fucking inflated in price especially with this ai bullshit. Either they lower the prices or I stick with a 300$ used xbox series x
Im already waiting to get mine b750
I am just waiting for the second generation Intel graphics cards i think a lot of people are
So, I'll believe it when I see it, but I would really like to believe it.
4070 performance at 1/2 the price... with 16GB VRAM on 256-bit bus sign me up, I don't even care what Nvidia/AMD do if this is true.
If the 5060 comes out, and its faster than the B770 even 25% faster but it still has the 8GB VRAM and costs $400 USD are you really going to tell me that you're not going to go for the B770... and we already know that is exactly what Nvidia has in mind, they don't intend to put more than 8GB on any card that costs less than $500 USD.
lol.
I picked a bad time to go for the 770.
does that mean intel dropping the b3xx sku?

Im seeing a pattern with computer parts....just keep waiting, a better one is juuuust about to come out🤣
Been waiting about 4 years to replace my gpu, soon one should come out🤣
Worst thing i know of has to be constantly waiting 😢
Intel products always fall short of expectations
Hey Conner. I just build my first Pc! And I used your discount code to get the activation code. I just need a monitor now. Decided between the Asus XG 7AQDMG and the Alienware AW2725DF. The Asus is $699 and the Alienware is $690. Which one is the better buy?
unless battlemage has sriov exposed to consumer level cards then it is a hard no for a purchase!!!!!!! there is not enough pcie lanes on motherboard to have 2 GPU installed thus SRIOV is a mandatory consumer feature!
I think it will be faster than 4060ti, so those who have that card can seethe
I'm waiting for battlemage I hope it's out around tax return time 2025😂
Next year: intel GPUs are failing
None of these would be close to 5090 or probably even 5070. Maybe good news for 1080p gamers
That should be expected as even AMD can't compete against Nvidia top end
@@Flomockia AMD gave us 2 generations of decent 4k GPUs. Now games got more demanding so we need faster cards to make upgrading reasonable
@@bartix698 and now 8k is becoming more of a option now that it's more available
Still nothing that great to replace my 6800xt for a decent price. A 4 year old GPU at this point. The GPU market has been trash!
if intel battlemage does bad then a shit ton of intel workers will lose their jobs, gotta hope intel does well otherwise we will lose a competitor to amd and nvidia
Ya I hope I'm wrong but I can't see Intel pulling this off. They screw up more lately than AMD. Again I hope I'm wrong tho. ;)
Intel gpu is the new amd gpu. Higher vram for lower price.
lol can't wait for a 32gb b770 version
Well too late i already got 4070 TiSuper. Quality over quantity.
If you wait for Battlemage, might as well wait for Druid too
intel goofed with their cpus, here's hoping they catch a win with their gpus.
AMD looking like their about to hit drama. i hear their next cards are gonna be caught up with functional raytracing, but im not hearing about anything amazing in terms of actual performance gains. also zen5 is giving me impressions there may not be big leaps of progress in the future considering their desktop cpus.
They probably will be good in price/perfomanxe ratio in some games but again awfull drivers. Like rly just saw fresh tests of ARC GPU on GTAV and problems is still there, in damn biggest game ever.
Think it's to soon buy Gpu's from intel
My favorite crack head
Intel not doing anything correct atm so no faith in this. Just wait and see how it does
If the 580 is as good as I hope it will be my card, its the right price and a good card to replace a 1650 super. I have a 12400f cpu and I don't plan to replace it so the 580 could be a good fit.
If these intel cards were opencore hackintosh compatible, i would buy one. So ill stick to AMD for this and NVIDIA as my gaming gpu.
Wait for what bro? Stop saying shit like this. You never say a bad thing about a launch. Intel is going down, Nvidia is insane and AMD isn't marginally better. What's the point in getting people's hopes up?
I think that's really cool they are making a 15tf card for 150$ potentially, maybe building a console like pc for cheap will be a thing again lol
Did you ever update the gpu my A770 only ever glitches on beta versions of Minecraft or games that came out before 1996
After all the problems we got with Intel processors, don't expect me to believe on Intel EVER
2nd
Is this a joke? Intel has laid off most of their GPU people. Battlemage may get a token release, but everything else is effectively canceled.
Intel is going bankrupt or at least axing dGPU department.. so let's not talk about it.
first!!
not happening, not getting Intel crap even if i get it for free
BattleMage is DOA, drivers will still be shitty, it will compete against Blackwell and RDNA 4. It was supposed to launch a year ago, also Intel killed their Arc division, this will be the last dedicated GPU, Celestial and Druid won't be available as a stand alone card, and only possibly a mobile version. A little to late Intel.
