Omg great tutorial! I was just struggling with this problem and came across this video and I am so grateful you took the time out of your day to make this. I will make sure to purchase CLR because a clean toilet = clean life

Great! Now clean the rest! The parts above the toilet bowl look horrific ! The fecal matter collected on the rim and hinges looks way worse than the bowl stains and is a health risk.
Also, if you clean your toilet just once a week or every few days, the stains won’t come back & you won’t have to buy CLR :)

That toilet has seen a cleaning in a long time, the whole thing needs scrubbed. Disgusting

@@gpiunno Time to break out the old toothbrushes.
I save a few of my old toothbrushes for jobs just like this one.
Old toothbrushes, a bucket of soapy water, disposable rubber gloves, and a garden hose also work great on the bottoms of athletic shoes if you happen to step on something disgusting.
      Also great for detailing cars.
I also use them for cleaning in and around my in-sink garbage disposal. I take out the rubber/vinyl cover and clean around the outside rings and all the nooks and crannies of the cover and then get what I can around the top of the garbage disposal. Those things get pretty disgusting also and toothbrushes work great for cleaning those.
Save a few old toothbrushes and you’ll be surprised how you start to find uses for them…. And then just through them away.

The BIG problem with "HARDWATER" and toilets is what you cant see. The calcium builds up inside the pathways that lead up to the top swirl jets and the main jet at the bottom that helps push waste in and up the P trap. I bought a small water pump from Amazon and filled the toilet with CLR and turned the pump on and had it pump the CLR up and back into the bowls straight pipe that drains directly back into the bottom bowl. Did this for a few hours and it opened up the inner path ways and allowed for a good water flow.

The CLR is supposed to go in an empty toilet bowl, so you turn off the tap and flush away the bowl water until it's empty or only has less than a cupful of water left. That way it isn't diluted.

You didn't scrub as much as I thought you would need to still scrub. Good job! The product worked.

If you clean every time when you use your toilette, never going to be in that extreme condition, but, the product is really good because some parts are difficult to clean every time and I’ve used once a week or once a month if is necessary… I like it👍

That toilet is nasty looking through out. You need to clean more often than once every 5 years, buddy.
