I'm also amazed at the translation. The translated lyrics are so beautiful, and they smoothly melt into the music, without losing any meanings of the original Japanese lyrics!!!

I’m pretty sure these aren’t translated lyrics, she wrote these lyrics herself. Translating lyrics almost never works due to the words being different amounts of syllables. Though I will say, she wrote very good lyrics. Kudos to her.
Edit: oh, I see. She played off the original lyrics and rewrote certain things to make it work, but some things do mean different than the original lyrics still.
I would agree, except i don't think it exactly NEEDS two female singers, but it would be highly recommended. Still a phenomenal piece.

I consider this as official english version of the song. Got goosebumps on the final line "tomaranai" part. Nothing feels forced as the lyrics just harmonize with the melody and accurate translation as well

I must say i was sceptical about how this would work, but it worked actually good. well done cover.
This is an amazing cover in every single way (how the lyrics fit, how well you sing, how well your voice blends into the music) HOWEVER i miss the charm from the childish voices, which give the song a more innocent tone (perfect for how cruel this anime is); also the fact that there is one voice only and not two, like in the original song. Keep up the great work!

When translating languages especially with songs, there's almost always a huge gap in the sound and rhythm. This is the case where that is non-existent :)

Hey there! I just found this amazing rendition of one of my favorite anime OPs and I can’t stop listening! I seriously must have replayed it 100+ times in the past month. The lyrics just flow so well and have the same vibe as the original!
I’m planning to do a cover of this song someday for upload on RUclips and (if I manage to find a way to get a new instrumental made that is at least almost as good as the original) streaming sites, but I can’t imagine any lyrics I’d come up with, being close to as good as yours.
