This man has helped me become a better angler. Been fishing for a year now and I always go to Tyler for everything I need to know. God Bless this guy. Truly a gift from above.
Great video, I love the app and the tips I’ve learned from you are leading to more fish. I’ve always struggled at this time of year in the past. Now I’m catching them every time I go out.
Hey dude, just wanted to let you know I’m a giant fan and you’ve taught me so much about bass fishing and I can’t wait to use the knowledge you have provided me with to catch some Biggins maybe even my PB this spring.
"where to fish" has been the biggest thing for me. once i quit fishing the same old ponds and found some really juicy ones with lots of bigger bass in them i started catching more 5-6 pounders instead of 2-3 pounders
Awesome! I’m downloading the app for sure! I live right near Okhissa Lake and I can’t wait to get out there when they open up in March. Any thoughts on that specific lake Tyler? Thanks for all your content!
Me living in Connecticut it's really difficult to catch bass in the cold months nov-feb but it's almost over and I can't wait for spring BTW Tyler you are not wrong about bass forecast it's amazing and I recently cought my first winter bass and it was on a lure recommended by bass forecast!!!
I tell you what the nice thing is my local pond has two 6 pounders and one 8 pounder I see them almost every week but I've been fishing specifically targeting them all summer and still can't catch them
Another great video. I personally am not looking for a PB bass. I have caught a few really large bass in my life and living here in Texas, there are a lot of big bass to catch. What I have never had is the luck of finding that one spot on that one day where you catch a bass on almost every cast. Regardless of size. I have seen it on videos and TV as well as heard many people talk about their experience of finding it. I would love to know what I should be targeting to greaten my odds of having one of those mornings or afternoons. I would love to see a video on your thoughts of where we might find a big congregation of bass in one area.
Great u just added more pressure to the lake of dreams, lol it’s no secret man good luck this year I’m still going out there hoping to break that pb as well from New Mexico salut bro
Love the video, but I don't live in TX, and I took a break from fishing while I did live there (boy do I regret that! Maybe I wouldn't have moved away!) Would love to see a video about fishing swimbaits in smaller ponds to catch the biggest fish that are available.
My PB was out of a pond I could almost cast across. 8.2 pounds out of a tiny little pond adjacent to a launch point for a local river I fish for salmon and steelhead. Unless you know it's there, you'll miss it.
It really comes down to being willing to commit time to bigger baits, but more importantly than that is understanding behavior and positioning as a result, this includes windows and all. Most bass anglers will never get more than a handful of “big fish” because they aren’t willing to take the time to understand the why. They just know that such and such throws a t rig and a chatterbait all the time without seeing why.
Tyler great video as always brotha, I have started making videos and I don’t know what I should use for thumbnails, what do you use to make thumbnails?
Unless you have a major lake it seems like those apps don’t have many smaller ponds on them. I kinda see that as a good thing tho because it means less fishing pressure.
2-4 lb bass are the funniest to catch. They put up a fight and feel like a 10lber. My biggest is only 6.10 lbs if I catch a 8+ so be it. I just like catching bass no matter the size. 10” warm Shaky head and a 12” big ol monster will be a easy meal for a big bass.
Don't get me wrong but majority of these big bass are caught via live scope. What about the anglers that don't fish on the water and stay on banks. The pressure that some of these ponds make these bass just hit soft plastics more often then lures where I'm at.
I have made PLENTY of videos of how to catch big bass without Livescope. Just gotta search em up. Whenever you have a fishing question or technique you want to learn, search “TylersReelFishing ____” and in that blank, put the topic you are curious about. Odds are, ive already made a video about it👍🏼
Well let's be honest I'm not catching any bass big or small. Last week I went out on the old kayak which I'm new to still fish 5 hours not one bite thought about sinking the kayak and everything on it. This winter as beat me down and I feel like a complete idiot.
Steps to catch an 8lb+ bass: 1. Ensure you live in the south (uproot your family and move in necessary) 2. Be rich enough to buy an $80,000 bass boat with LiveScope 3. Make your money from passive income so you can spend work days on the water
This isn’t for me. I’m catching big sunny California bass on a regular basis. 9.6 in July 9.4 last Friday other honorable mentions 7.8,7.3 6.6 and a 6.1 smallie to boot 🥾
Looks like Texas has Florida beat by almost a pound. 18.18 for Texas largest bass ever and Florida 17.27. Both states are awesome, but Texas is working hard like no other state to grow bigger bass. I took a tour of the Athens fishery last summer and it’s pretty amazing. More states need to do what Texas is doing.
@@babadeedee Yea I wouldn't go by a "record". It says a man caught a 22 pounder in Georgia... There's a reason people leave other states with bass to come to Florida to bass fish lol

Great to hear!
Reason #2 is why my son and I are heading to O.H Ivie Spring Break. Can’t wait!
All good tips we’ll be using. Thanks Tyler!
I do believe the reason I'm not catching ANY fish right now is cause I SUCK AT FISHING!!!!..... Lol Great video as always 👍
Tyler, I just wanna say thank you for all the good content you create 😁
I appreciate that!
Legit the most informative bass angler I’ve ever watched
That's the goal! Thank you!
That's crazy
Great information Tyler thanks for sharing 🎣 👍
Love this! I actually just got a 6inch mag draft for this exact reason I wanna try and get the biggest bass in my spots
Go for it!
I CANT WAIT TO FISH THIS SPRING. had to yell type it hahaha

I appreciate you spelling “You’re” correctly. So many people use the wrong word/spelling. God Bless!
People don't care 😂 you act like RUclips is a job application.
I live in Oklahoma and there some pretty big bass but Texas has a lot more any tips for fishing like farm ponds?

Lightroom and Photoshop
Does that bass forecast really work on any pond or lake? I’ve used 2 of those type of app before and neither had our county lake on them.

Also the hair is looking fly 😎🤙
Can tell ya exactly why I'm not catching big bass.
. . . We don't have any freshwater bass in the UK.

Cuz I'm sitting at work watching you on RUclips
Ah true
Where you get that giant topwater frog 👀
Full size Jerkbait for big fish. I don't know why but all my big bass is off jerkbait all year long. 2nd would be big squarebills
They definitely can catch some big ones
Would love to go fishing with u man 👊🏾😁
Maybe one day!
@@TylersReelFishing I keep hope alive 🤣
Can you do some more uncut please 🙏🏻
I will!
How do I do the google earth thing
Yes, do you have a video about that Tyler?
It’s called google earth pro. You have to download it to your computer
I stay catching big bass though
You do you do
got a 15 pounder other day
The link didn’t work my man!!
Works now!
That app was free a couple months ago
It still has a free version. Always will
Just started this video and want to answer your question,if I am willing to do the 3 things to catch bigger bass, absolutely!
Go for it!

I can’t wait for the weather to get better for kayak fishing!
Hang in there!
You’ll get past it, I know you will!
I live 40 minutes from Ivie if i wanna catch my pb i just drive over there
What a blessing haha!

I never said any of that😂😂 I said if you want to catch big ones, you may have to plan a quick trip to where the big ones live. Youre wild

Cant go fishing, the wife needs knee replacement 3/8/23, but then....
Just use her as bait 🤘🏼
Hopefully you taking care of her might get you some brownie points aka fishing time.

Nope
Add a jerkbait to that list maybe?
For sure!
I caught nothing but literal trash the other weekend. First catch of the year.. a piece of rubber off of a boat😂

#1 You're not in Florida.
It's a fact southern bass are bigger.
