The important word in your comment is REAL. He has a mixture of authentic American music that spans the spectrum. Depending on the song, you can hear blues, country, gospel, soul and rock elements that are beautifully blended into something extraordinary. When people praised him for his efficiency after his wife told him to do something while she was changing and ready to go out, and he wrote a hit song during the time she took, she set everyone straight. She pointed out that Chris did not really write the song; great artists like him draw out the music inside them, much like Michaelangelo drew out sculptures from the stone he was working with. Like many great songwriters, Stapleton has ideas floating around and is always playing with them. At times of inspiration, out pops a song that is shaped and refined into a finished product. As you said, the man is the real deal.
There’s only a handful of artists that I can honestly say I could listen only to them the rest of my life. Chris is one of them. I never get tired of his music. Just awesome.
I am so glad I lived long enough to experience Chris Stapleton. He’s the best singer I’ve ever heard and that’s quite a statement because before him I only worshipped the vocals of Janis Joplin and the pure sounds of Patti Loveless. I’m 70 and can’t hear him enough!
A little story. I like him so much I paid over $400 to see him in concert in July or aug 2020 in Virginia (I think that’s was the date). He’s I was taking care of my father since my mother passed and paid no attention to the dates of the concert. I don’t need to tell you I missed it. I was so upset that I didn’t get to see this vocal phenomenon but swore I’ll see him before I die. The cost, although high to me, was insignificant as compared to just missing witnessing a truly gifted singer, song writer and musician. One day though, it’ll happen.
What I love the most about this video is we get Morgane time as well! She is such a spark of light- I love the chemistry between them and how it fuels their music

Keep listening ... I am 76 from Michigan, Used to catch WSM late at night on a little transistor radio as a young teenager. Life, marriage and chance brought me to Nashville in 1977. Now I also love Jelly Roll, Luke Combs with the singer and writer Tracy Chapman. Finally... people of many colors and shapes singing their love out into the world.❤
I don't think most people truly understand how amazing Stapleton and his band are, and it extends well beyond the "country" genre that people place him into. He is a purveyor of true musicianship and the songwriting speaks for itself. Guitars and bass are plugged into real amplifiers, keys and pedal steel are being played by people, not backing tracks. I had the pleasure of seeing them perform back in September and it was one of the warmest and most authentic sounding live arena shows I've heard. Do yourself a favor and spend whatever it costs to see them whenever they come through your town, because this is a once in a generation artist and should be experienced in a live setting.

I'm an old guy, and I just discovered Chris Stapleton's band. I watched the Anthem the next day after the super bowl, because I just wasn't following football this year like days gone past, kind of like music gone past... So was cruising through RUclips today and ran across the Anthem again, and "really" watched it again. Thought I'd watch some other Chris Stapleton stuff, which brings me to this concert... I sure am impressed with these youngsters... Gives me faith in young music again. Does anyone else see, or hear, or feel comparisons to the early Allman Brothers , or Marshall Tucker? Anyway, i'm very impressed, and glad I found them.
Yes....I definitely pick up MTB. Saw them at the Horse Park of NJ for their 45th Anniversary....they were FAB!! I'm new to Chris as well. Love so many of his songs....but Tennessee Whiskey was #1....then COLD....blew me away. I hope I can get to see he live.....soon!!💜💜

I'm an old guy, and I just discovered Chris Stapleton's band. I watched the Anthem the next day after the super bowl, because I just wasn't following football this year like days gone past, kind of like music gone past... So was cruising through RUclips today and ran across the Anthem again, and "really" watched it again. Thought I'd watch some other Chris Stapleton stuff, which brings me to this concert... I sure am impressed with these youngsters... Gives me faith in young music again. Does anyone else see, or hear, or feel comparisons to the early Allman Brothers , or Marshall Tucker? Anyway, i'm very impressed, and glad I found them.

Yes....I definitely pick up MTB. Saw them at the Horse Park of NJ for their 45th Anniversary....they were FAB!! I'm new to Chris as well. Love so many of his songs....but Tennessee Whiskey was #1....then COLD....blew me away. I hope I can get to see he live.....soon!!💜💜
