A selection of vegetables of your choice,
We are also using some brussels sprouts,
Some cooked gammon chunks,
Some cooked chicken pieces,
Some dried mixed herbs,
Some chicken seasoning granules,
A chicken oxo cube,
Some chicken gravy granules,
Salt and pepper,
About 2 pints of hot water.
Cooking time is 10 minutes on Pressure Cook mode.

I never buy tinned soup anymore , always make my own, that way I know what is in it . Sling the chicken carcass in a pan with a carrot , onion and seasoning, drain when all the goodness is in the stock , add veg and cooked chicken and Bobs ya uncle . The skies the limit with homemade soupy goodies. Yours looks just magnificent too ❤
ive always love the video of the old Jewish lady ,probably made in the 70s when all that was used was two whole chickens cut into 8 and put in a big pot with a selection of veg and simmered for hours then drained and the liquid from that was used with a few dumplings the rest was put in the bin. but love your soup

Aw sorry to hear you're still not well. Hope you are better soon. I love homemade soups. I do a really good minestrone soup & I don't even like shop bought or most restaurant minestrone soup. I have an old tower pressure cooker (not electric) & I make it in that just because there's so much veg in it!! It takes me ages to chop all the veg, but it's well worth it & because there's loads of it I freeze batches of it too. I do love a good chicken & veg soup too where you can use all your leftovers. Yum! Hope you both feel better soon

The soup looks delicious. I have the same food processor and use it a lot. Makes a good hummus. I cut my thumb on the disc as I was wiping it. You have to be extra careful when handling the attachments.

Love you guys but I make this soup much quicker in my Instant Pot & use a stick blender so only one bowl to wash up

When chicken is added to a soup, it always ends up shredding, and becomes stringy.... I prefer to add the chicken AFTER cooking the rest of the soup. Just personal preference. Xxx

I like to make leek and potato soup on a Monday if we've had mash and leeks on a Sunday. Always keep the leek tops that i dont use and chop and put in a pan of water with 2 veg stock cubesand top up with water probably a pint or so, let it come to the boil and add the leftover mash. Simmer for 30 mins and blitz until smooth. Add some cream or Elmlea and season to taste. Part baked rolls, hot with proper butter. Yummy filling tea in 30 to 40 mins x

This looks amazing! I did not realise you can go from pressure cook, to the mixer/ blender. I’ve got the 9 in 1 and i’ve got the food processor with blender jug……but like you say Sharon we can have it chunky or as we like! soups are on my menu, wow! Home made soup is the best. I make a low carb Avgolemono soup using cauliflower rice instead of rice and it is so good when I am not feeling well and of course using the pressure cooker makes everything cook faster.
