Running non-stop! Meaning the number 1 out of the constellation, SPICA came back with their shining light and their second mini album [LONELY]/.
The title song LONELY is made the K-POP hit maker SWEETUNE who produced SPICA's debut with Russian Roulette. They worked again with SPICA, to make a song that talk about a woman who goes to places that she and lover used to go to. It talks about how she is looking things in a different perspective, and about her loneliness.

I really had forgotten that there was a girl group called spica, even though I used to really like their songs, I accidentally discovered them again, it felt like de javu, time had passed, so many things happened that I forgot about them.

First of all, she didn't call them slutty. On the contrary, she said they were lacking sex appeal.
Second, most artists in that business dont get to choose anything when they're starting out. Choosing what concepts you want comes with time, experience, respect, etc etc. Like I said, it's their job. They signed a contract and sometimes they might have to do things they dont agree with, but they have to do..

The fact that their rapper can still slay vocals still baffles me how Spica was not so famous back then. This song is one of my absolute favorite from them.

and guess what ?? this "ugly" she is composer and songwriter to. she composed and wrote for KARA (i'am..) and she gave to the members of the boys-band "infinity" singing courses and she were a vocal coach in Leon entertainment so the "ugly" is so so so talented

Again, she wasn't being sexist! She was just saying, as a person who likes SPICA, that they dont need to feel like they need to be sexy to make a good video, and even though they are trying a more sensual feel (in her opinion) they didn't succeed, because it's not who they are. That was all. You're just reading way to much into it and blowing everything out of proportion. I mean, where the hell are you getting this stuff about "worthiness" to begin with, NO ONE said anything like that.

I came back here after the news of their disbandment... This is my favorite song from Spica, the first one of them that I heard and the reason I searched for them and became their fan. I can't explain how sad I am... All of these amazing girls have unique voices, they are one of the most talented k-pop groups. Their songs are so great. Everything about them is perfect. Except that they are so underrated... but it's not their fault. I still can't truly understand how the people don't pay attention to them... Unfortunately in the k-pop industry your company is very important and if you don't come from big company it will be too hard to reach population. It's such a shame... I will be very lonely now without you, Spica. But I love you very much and I will never stop. If you decide to come back together I will be fully supporting you. Please do it after some time. 그 많은 우후죽순 걸그룹들 중 그냥 쓸려간 하나의 팀으로만 알았지. 그래도 러시안룰렛은 들어봤기에 검색하다 이 노래를 지금 처음 듣는데 임팩트 크다 이거...뇌리에 남겠다 싶어 노래도 너무 잘하네
다른 그룹에는 없는 파워풀하고 뛰어난 가창력이 있으니 다른 아이돌 그룹과 다르게 오로지 보컬로만 승부하는 것도 괜찮지 않을까요 스피카의 가창력을 모르는 사람들은 그냥 매년 생산되서 나오는 여자 아이돌 그룹이라고 생각할것 같아요

I have never been actually too knowledgeable about K-Pop, but I always kept on liking this song.
Interesting to drift back 10 years then go through all the songs from beginning to end. All quality songs - note that we are not getting hung up if a song was a "hit" or not, only 2 songs of theirs hit the top 20 - including the ones on the albums that were not released as singles.
Narae is still my bias. not only are all of them vocally talented, this group was also great because everyone's voice was distinguishable.

I'm happy to see somebody else say this. I've thought for some time if they were American's of Korean heritage it would have been something entirely different. The "K-Pop machinery" really annoys the hell out of me, looks and concept over talent more often than not, sadly.

I keep hearing 'Can't Speak French' as mentioned a billion times before, but I like this track. I remembered Doggedly from years ago, and was reminded when I saw 'I Did It', so I've been looking through their back catalogue. Definately prefer their more recent styles.
There is something so captivating about Boa's? (blonde short hair) eyes..almost like a permanent tinge of sadness there.
