First of all, check google and let me know which states you can be a therapist without a license. I'll wait. Second, you should know by now that greentext stories are fake and gay. They're always written to push a narrative. This one is so obvious that it will not fool anyone new, only those that wanted to believe it before they read it. Third, therapy can sometimes work if the patient wants it to work and even then it's going to be a long and expensive process. It's not BS, but it's also not a gamble most people can afford. Fourth, if by some chance this was not fake, OP should immediately report the therapist to not only the license organization for their state, but also to the clinic she's working from. And thank his insurance company they pay so much that a therapy session is only $120 per session. Also demand more meds because there's no way an anon would have a girlfriend, so we know he's hallucinating. Fifth, we all know OP was too scared to confront anyone and just made his next appointment on the way out instead of firing her.

Jfc she was obviously testing you.
I don't feel it like "firing". She got her money anyways.
One mammoth gone, new one come. (mammoth is synonym of a dupe / goof / sucker in russian, a person who is being used as a source of money)
0:10 huge red flag in that girl. Although the whole therapy thing is a red flag as well. Cultist idiocy with very little value that only helps with imaginary problems, but at the same time gives shallow people something to brag about endlessly
This guy is smarter than all psychologists someone tell them
Exactly. Feels good to hear it from someone else.
Regarding video: I bet 99% of therapists are left wing. Maybe slightly less among men.
Kamala is shit but as long as the therapist does her job, there’s no reason for anon to act like a baby
I certainly am not a Harris supporter but I kind of feel like she was just testing him to see his progress.
Fake: He actually listened to the women in his life.
This is how the corpus and politicians win. By dividing you on needless BS like this
120 bucks could buy you alot of stuff.
I question the validity of this post. I've been in therapy my whole life, many of the people I've known throughout my life have been as well, and never once have I heard of a legit therapist say that cringeworthy line "how does that make you feel?"
How legit could it have been? Women despise weakness in men with every single fiber of their being, and getting a therapist's license isn't going to change that.
Mine did and she was new and really bad at her job always made it about her life too like it was one big comparison maybe this guys therapist is new too
Country might make a huge difference
Did Tony Soprano write this?
Seems inappropriate for her to bring politics up in this setting, she also wasted time talking about her own life/feelings/belief in a session where he pays based on time.
Even if it's a politician, he supports. Talking about your personal politics to a patient and going on a full monalogue about it to boot is super unprofessional.
yeah don't go to a therapist that hasn't had to conquer men's problems
even a lot of grown men today don't know how to handle those problems much less help others get through it and thrive
Bottling up emotions or having traumatised or gone through extreme stress maybe in the long term might effect person that way. I was the same. I don't know what changed me. Maybe watching Monster 2003 and some other movies. I suggest anybody the same.
This comment section makes me question my choices in life
> goes to therapy to figure out why he's difficult to be around due to his anger and control issues
> Internally loses shit when presented with differing opinions
Oh yeah you sure proved them wrong.
Therapist shouldn't have brought up politics unprompted like that, regardless of her preferred party or candidate. That's wildly unprofessional and, even though the patients are ultimately the ones signing her paycheck, she's operating from a position of authority in their lives.
Based.
Maybe all the people in anon's life are just stupid and that makes him mad because he is burdened with the only braincell in a 5 mile radius.
Dude should dispute the charge and file a complaint.
You want a life coach not a therapist. Don't waste your time.
I voted for equity and equality by chosing the candidate that is responsible for jailing hundreds of black people for the horrible crime of smoking a joint
to be fair it was either her or trump
Cool story bro
If she was smart, I think what the Therapist should've done is preface what she was going to say with "Me personally." That way it comes off less like projecting her own beliefs onto someone, and moreso just encouraging the patient to use that logic for himself based on what he believes.
Although, it wouldn't surprise me if she just didn't care about the patient and was looking for an excuse to shadow box her ex.
If she was smart, she wouldn't have brought up her own politics unprompted.
She could mention them if he specifically asked about it, which he didn't.
Yeah some therapists are just unprofessional.
No therapist worth their salt would ever bring up politics out of nowhere, much less going into a monologue about it. This has to be fake.
Some people are just legitimately bad at their jobs. Even ones that require licenses and certifications.
most rational american
Based.
Damn I don't want to talk to any of you people
judging by the way he texted i could IMMEDIATELY tell he has anger issues. raging over someone sharing a political view? OP definitely needs professional help. maybe not from her specifically, but dude is definitely not straight in his head.
Low quality employee
Gr8 b8.
120$ FOR ONE HOUR WTF ???
I voted for Kamala and I would fire that therapist too
4chan person that voted Kamala? What a strange breed you are.
That's a scam bro
Least left wing therapist.
me thanking the lord that my therapist of 10 years wasn't a kamala supporter
You should fire your therapist for being a therapist. Pseudo-scientific bullshit.
All therapy does is try to take you back to the system, which is extremely flawed and corrupt. Working out and focusing on life projects is much better therapy than talking to a mirror (even talking to a Mirror is cheaper)
Valid
Definitely 100% BS.
I mean that’s weeeird most therapists want to get the client to speak about themselves as much as possible so the off topic talk about her own political stuff seems like her entire own thing she wanted to talk about or seems fake. Either way bad example of a therapist.
This one is not fake or gay, i think.
Fake: anon have a GF
Gay: anon goes to therapy
@@Steir12 ah yes therapy is gay because only females go to therapy. splendid logic
Speaking to your local priest is free, and if ya find the right one, they won’t gaslight ya into believing only one political side is the arbiter of morality.
Bro almost lost it over who someone voted for. Id say he still needs that therapy 😂😂
Just like most of the people who voted for her.
it's that the therapist randomly brung it up. i voted for kamala and i would fire that therapist too
@@accounts128 she probably brought it up to see how he would react.
he needs therapy, not therapist. like he need to listen to someone who is objective.
Anon is triggered. (She shouldn't have brought that up, extremely unprofessional but he sperged out a ridiculous amount)
No, he set boundaries. That's a fucking superpower and everyone needs to learn it. You obviously need to learn it.
@@B463L the emotional reaction he describes, like he's actually dying, is the reaction of a triggered snowflake even though the therapist sounds like she's from hell
Even if politics shouldn’t be brought up in therapy sessions, I still think this was a bit of an extreme reaction from him. Like, so what if she voted for Kamala, why does that shellshock him? Is being left leaning really such an offense to some people?
If you really cannot understand why bringing politics unprovoked into a therapy session with the therapist gloating about how their choice makes them a good person then idk what to tell you apart from you might need to get your skull checked for potential bruising since you were probably dropped on the head as a baby
@ well that’s stupid
I mean, when it comes off sounding like a paid advertisement, I'd be more than a little disconcerted. Like I was getting pranked or something.
Most educated people lean left. The more highly educated you are, the less likely you were to vote for Trump. This is a statistical fact that does not care about your personal anecdotes.
@@cryptosporidiom Yeah I know, it makes perfect sense why a therapist would vote for her. I’m just wondering why this came as such a shock to the poster
Good there’s nothing wrong with OP he just needs to go to the gym and pick up boxing.
In a group of narcissists, the normal person stands out for being different.
Don't give in to unreasonable demands because you are flooded with them and isolated from the real world.
This is exactly why as a man, it is important to find a male therapist.
Just remember US Anons, that in some states you don't have to be a licensed therapist to work as a therapist - it is fucked up, but it is what it is. Be careful out there, and choose therapy sessions wisely.
But now that I think about it... Maybe that was the point the therapist was trying to make? Exposing Anon to something radically different to his POV to see if he would react in anger or if he would explode like always? Still, very unprofessional and unethical for a therapist...
Based anon
Bro how do you live being this sensitive? Fuming over something this little?
I wouldn't call $120/hour "little"
Well trump is filling his cabinet with literal billionaires, how are people thinking that they are the right people to represent them. Literal clown show
Name one other than Elon
You'd have some sort of a point except I don't think you know what a cabinet is considering DOGE isn't a real department, just a way to offer advice and suggestions on what departments should cut. So in other words, Elon isn't a part of the cabinet.
except, yknow, most politicians are rich, doesnt really make a difference
People who get things done represent me. I'd don't care how poor/rich they are
#CopeAndSeethe
Even if your boss is a Kemal Harris lover, you are the one who should fire him. Let alone your therapist.
Therapist was definitely out of line.
Sounds like you have your fair share of issues as well my friend, the way you describe things.
Assholes, everyone in this story is an asshole.
