Thank you! That makes my day!
Hooray, glad someone knows and understands a person who doesn't have everything to do cards.❤👌
Thanks for watching! I kind of have a thing with trying to figure out things the hard way😁
Such fun cards and great reminder to just use the paper and not all the dies/punches
Thanks! Sometimes, it's fun to go back to the beginning
Lovely cards! ❤️ This video was a great reminder of how fun it can be to use sketches, thank you for sharing! And by the way, it was SO comforting to hear someone else struggle with their words for a change, it happens to me all the time. 😅
I say words are hard so often my sister made me a shirt that says it. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. ❤️
Thanks for a great tutorial! You are hilarious and made me chuckle a few times as I saw and heard myself! Wonderful cards!

Your video was very educational and I love your style of cards thank you so much for sharing
Thank you! And thanks for watching.
Excellent cards, Jennie! I agree with what you said about the cards being not perfect yet handmade as well as bringing joy to the recipient, if not bringing joy to yourself.
Thanks. I'm really trying to embrace the joy, not get hung up on perfect or looking store bought. I'm human, not a computer 😉😆
@JennieDesignsWithPaper Exactly, Jennie! I stamped a card last night and my ink smudged, but the effect I got was fabulous, so I smudge a bit more coming in with a different colour for the sky. I love it!
All of your cards are very pretty! Love the background music as well!
Thanks. I don't play the music often but thought I'd give it a try.
Wonderful cards and personality! You cracked me up 😂😂😂! I had a great time. TFS 💕💕💕

Just found your channel. 😊 Really enjoyed your card making and reinforcing that’s it’s ok to refer to outside card designs. Sometimes I just stare at my card with _______!🙄 Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching. I love card sketches, especially when my MOJO is feeling out of sorts.
Hi Jennie, first time seeing your video. Subscribed because I love paper piecing more than other types of card making…been at it for 60+ years.
Thanks for subscribing! I thought I had been doing this a while. You've got me beat. Have a great day!

Yeah I noticed, after lol
Just subscribed, need to use up some paper before i move in about a year to 18 months. 😅
Thanks for subscribing. This type of card is a great way to use pattern paper. Just remember to send the cards😉
Love all of the cards. Also new to your channel.
Welcome! And thank you!
Please show how you would have used the washi tape you mentioned
I will totally make cards adding washi. Thanks for the idea and input.
Great video to remind me of simple options in great card making. Can you recommend a double sided tape for the cards?
They run out fast and very expensive.
Thanks for watching. My favorite is the Scotch ATG. It has more adhesive than smaller tape runners. The refills are about the same cost, but the initial cost is a bit more. In my opinion, it's worth it. I've had the same one for 14 years.
I love these cards. QUESTION: How do you know if you're supposed to use pattern paper or not? Is that a preference to just use pattern paper or solid paper? Or a combo of both?
For this video, I specifically wanted to use pattern papers, so that was a choice. The decision to put a card stock mat between each layer was based on the sketches. And also the need to break up the patterns a little bit.
Nicely done. Where do you get the big rolls of 3m tape?
Thanks. Amazon used to have it all the time, but Altenew has one as well. Happy holidays!
@@JennieDesignsWithPaper Thank you
Where did you get that machine to glue or to stick the cards together?
My pink tape runner is the scotch ATG (advanced tape glider). I think most box stores carry it as well as Amazon. It's by far the oldest work horse in my craft room. And it holds a ton of double-sided tape. I think the pink one isn't sold anymore, but Amazon has a few others. It's 1/4 inch tape.
Where do u find the measurements, lovely
A standard USA A2 size card is 4 and 1/4 inches by 5 and a 1/2 inches. It is 1/4 of an 8 and a 1/2 by 11 piece of cardstock or paper. For my layer, my base layer on my cards, I usually go down a quarter of an inch. So 4 inches by 5 and 1/4 inches. If you want card sketches with measurements, search on Pinterest. They're easy to find, and they're fabulous. Did that answer your question? Thanks for watching.
I need the measurements.
All of the card bases are US A-2. 4 1/4 by 5 and a 1/2 inches. The measurements of each layer and its mat were determined by the card sketch I used. I know if you go on to Pinterest or even just your browser and search card sketches with measurements, a lot of card sketches come up with the measurements all ready there.
Love the video but I find the music distracting
Thanks for the input. Thought I'd try something different.
