This song is so powerful when performed by the band alone, but to hear a multitude of voices raised up singing “No one else is worthy. All good comes from Your mighty hand.” is the closest thing I can imagine to what Heaven must be like. Glory and praise be to God, the Father, Creator of all things and to His Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer.
We need more bands like this. The world has become so dark and upside down that we need a guiding light like this band to lead us on the right path with this beautiful angelic music
People who like the sensation and iconography of evil will need to come to their own senses to embrace a Godly message. They will have to get sick of the darkness first. I appreciate Green and his band mates’ work though it’s not to my own taste (way too preachy!) and I prefer bands like Crimson Moonlight who are better at ‘seducing’ metal fans to the side of the Most High (see short film Nemesis Divina).
God has really joined these guys together and I believe will bring many to Christ, especially those who are metal heads and rockers. I've been a musician for most of my 49+ years and came to Christ during what I believe was the peak of contemporary Christian music. I was also a Hatebreed fan before I came to Christ. Jamey Jasta and later Brian Welch, reinvigorated my love for metal when he came to Christ and kept his passion for metal and love for Christ and made a new band to reach out to us metal heads. Long story short, Holyname is a refreshing band that deeply loves God and has used their talents to praise Him and reach out to the lost. Tommy Green profoundly preaches and draws one in to worship in a way only God designed. The guys on the instruments are just phenomenal as well! Great band and look forward to listening to their spirit filled music and going to their concerts.
This is honestly what it was like seeing Sleeping Giant back in the day (for obvious reasons). The shows would rip and then would, by the power of God, turn into heavy worship where I saw, again and again, those who would start in ridicule (fans who were there to see other bands) end up weeping with their hands raised. Great to see so many amazing musicians coming together to create HolyName!
No one is worthy We are all filthy rags. Thanks be to Our Lord Jesus Christ are we anything. I fell to my knees the first time I heard this song and I still fall to my knees in honor of The Lamb of God, Our Lord Jesus Christ Yashaua! Praise Jesus!! Praise his Holy name forever.when I was first saved I so needed a band like this who played the music I enjoyed and had a solid testimony for Jesus. All the bands in the 90’s and early 2000’s were luke warm

This is the only metal band that I have felt are praising and worshipping instead of simply performing a song about Jesus. I have never wept when listening to metal in my life, until I found 'Holy Name'.
Why was it so hard to find a sold out full surrendered band to Jesus at Furnace Fest this year? Guys, this is the time for more bands like Holy Name to start a Jesus movement.
I like Tommy's take on orthodoxy. Personally, I think there is a problem with the protestant church as it stands. There is something closer to Christ in a more ritualistic worship of God. Many young men are returning to Catholicism as it brings them closer to St. Peter and thus closer to the root of Christianity. So many Christian metal bands were brought up in milquetoast Christianity of course almost all of them have fallen out of the faith because of it. I'd love to see a Christian metal bands follow in the steps of Batushka.
There aren't too many anymore, it's just sad. A lot of these bands start off as Christian bands and now they look and act just like the world,. Where are the spirit filled bands. God has put them in a place to make damage to the darkness, it's time to start doing that.
I just think mainstream church music has too many politics and money affecting it to just be real like this. I’m not there, I don’t know the words, but I have tears in my eyes and my heart is moved and I want to kneel down too!
I love this man so much this song brings me to tears the only thing I just don't agree with though is I know he's singing but he's singing along with the track why even put that in there just sing it
If Satan is prevelant in popular culture, Christ needs to be too. This is contemporary Christian music that's ACTUALLY GOOD. Let alone Christian METAL that's actually good. Heck yeah homies
That's where I come in. I am the God made prophet of these days and I have lyrics written in the truth. About my miraculous life. My words sound like it's unreal but anyone who sings my words to the lord will have success with there truths told that the God made prophet writes all the songs and who wants to be #1
They unfortunately are not an active band. This was their first show and they have not stated whether they will be playing others. They appear to be more of a studio band.
As I put on X (Twitter), Christians still make the best music, because, it's pure passion, it's not just about trying to get someone for a stupid fling...
I don't understand why he's lip syncing... or maybe his mic is not very high cuz all I hear is backing track until he talks. Love the song but I expected live singing.
@afterwit3620 I get worshipping but I go to a show to hear the band perform. Even in church you have a worship leader that actually sings. I love thommy green and all his bands but I don't understand why he's not singing for real.
@@xsp238 That make sense. I'm curious if this was just the way he decided to end the show, or if it was the entire show. Need to check out more videos from this set.
I am sorry but Tommy Green owes it to his audience, as a confessing Orthodox Christian to distinguish between a rock concert and worship. If he were still a Protestant there would be no problem because Protestant worship is not high priestly Divine Worship as the Orthodox Church defines it. Green needs to differentiate between his rock shows and what goes on during the Divine Liturgy in the Church whose doctrine he now confesses as a self-described Orthodox Christian. I hope his priest and bishop make this clear to him, in a kindly way.
@@Holyspiritdriven__ he is not far from the same error he pointed out in Protestant churches, with their cults of personality and substituting the pulpit for the chalice. If the two are conflated it mangles both.
@@claesvanoldenphatt9972The problem comes in when church becomes a rock concert. He's encouraging people to participate in a worshipful way - which should happen all over our lives. If someday he tries to make a rock version of the Divine Liturgy, then we've got issues.

Why did Tommy not do the hardcore bit at the end? He led sleeping giant for years, dude knows how to scream...
Probably trying to preserve his voice, screaming can damage your voice depending on the technique
Exactlyy like it’s still good don’t get me wrong but like it don’t hit the same with out the guttural 😭😭
