I liked the point you brought up about Head, about how he was just there to serve and there wasn't any peacocking or anything like that. I noticed that as well, very classy and professional. BEAUTIFUL song that I've listened to about 1000 times in the past 3 days, and I look forward to diving deeper into this band. Breath of fresh air...
He certainly respected the song itself which was good to see/hear. Can’t be the easiest thing to do when there’s the ego of having performed in front of millions. But I’ve since discovered this clip is part of a performance where the band had many of their friends join in on different songs.

Thanks for giving the drummer his flowers. Nobody mentions him, though he is an absolute unit on the kit.
Being able to keep rhythm and time on odd time signature songs is tough.. especially when at like 80 bpm.. Takes dedication unlike anything I know and I play guitar, to an extent, as well.
Tommy Green (lead singer) is just amazing! This is so amazing! “No other is worthy! All good comes from His mighty hand”! Stunning! I love that it’s so repetitive. It allows you to just bathe in it all. So so good!
He’s got a good set of pipes on him for sure.

I think even though it may seem ridiculous to you and others out there that there’s different sub genres being born like preach core and other christianised takes on all different metal genres. I think its pretty awesome that it’s evolving and reaching towards different audiences and these audiences say like myself who are metal heads would prefer to listen to sub genres branching off christianised metal as a form of worship rather than listening to some typical christian-pop or worship song that a local church would have as its agonising for a hardcore metal head to just listen to that daily, it’s boring and i feel like I want to drink bleach as it all sounds the same, lmao. Metal is what makes me feel happy, full of life and empowered and I can’t fit into a box that restricts me from listening to metal, constantly seeking positive songs and Christian metal and its sub genres just feeds my soul and frees me from that restriction.
Yeah I get that. But those are sub-genres within sub-genres and that’s what I think is ridiculous. The need to define something into less than 3 words has always felt ridiculous to me. At best, forced. At worst, a marketing ploy to sell a product.
I haven't listened to metal in 12+ years because of how depressed it made me, but I listened to this song yesterday. It popped up on feed and I believe it popped up on your feed for a reason as well. There is no such thing as coincidence. I came across another song in my search that I like. I hope you like it too! May the Lord bless you my friend and reveal His love to you.

As a metal fan, I was so excited to find this song because I stopped listening to secular music when I returned to Christ
Brian performed on the video. He didn’t contribute to the composition nor perform on the Official recording. I don’t believe.
