And also reused the tower sound for the outpost (I just checked btw, there was no outpost in AoE1, so an outpost is definitely an idea newer than towers).
@@julzyboy8960 Consistency is more important than individual "fitness". All but one building have the low hum, it's a shame. Why siege yes but stables no?
The stable never had the tower's hum in the original game. DE did water down the hum sound though, making the buildings less like a themed version of the tower hum (barracks, archery range, siege workshop)... :(

I don't think that is the case, I think they just didn't use that low hum for the Stable because it doesn't really suit the building.

New sound for "house" is... I mean the old one is so iconic. I use the "original sound mod"
