- In this video we explain how to set up a Logitech C920e USB webcam or similar webcams by mounting it on the top of our monitor (or alternatively also on a tripod).
The process is fairly simple and can be completed in less than 5 minutes.
We show how to connect the webcam via USB cable directly to the USB port of our Windows laptop computer as well as how to connect it to the USB hub on the backside of our monitor.
Once the webcam is physically connected, we can instantly start to use it. In this example we are using Microsoft Teams and show how to switch to the new Logitech webcam in the settings menu of the application.
In this case the webcam also comes with a bit-in microphone, so that we can also switch the audio source from the laptop microphone to the webcam in order to have better microphone input. Хобби

Lifesaver! Thank you! Camera came with zero instructions on how to mount & set up.
Thank you for posting this video! Very helpful.
Thank you!! Not sure why it didn't come with instructions but really helped!
Thank you very much! This is so helpful.
My man. Thank you so much. I never even noticed the little extension that keeps it steady on the monitor :)
thanks for straight to the point info!!
You are a life saver!!! Thank you!!!!!!!
Very good information - many thanks
Excellent explanation Many thanks
Thanks for the video. I wish you could have shown how the camera works on the monitor. I am using the web cam the laptop already has, not an external one. When I use the monitor and I am in virtual sessions, I see myself on the left side on my monitor and frontal on the laptop. Is it possible with an external web cam to see yourself frontal on your monitor?

Is there a setting to have he camera turn on when I talk and turn off when I am not talking?
When I connect direct to the monitor´s usb, it does not work. It only works when I connect to the desktop´s usb. Can you help me?

@@EmptiedPockets @fabiocoelho8699 you guys need to connect a usb a to b cord from your computer to your monitor. Your monitor should of come with one if not you will have to buy it in order to use the usb from your monitor.
Where do you get that tripod? Thanks.
This is where I got the tripod from:

👍
Are you sure this works directly on the monitor? Can't seem to make it work. Your description said you'd show "how to connect it to the USB hub on the backside of our monitor"
But I don't see this in the video....👎🏼
That privacy lid looks like a toilet seat.
It actually is - taken from Barbies Dreamhouse 👍
Mounting is terrible, how about a clamp
