Would be grateful to see the exercises you developed. I’ve got as far as trying to play groupings of 3 4 5 etc within a double stroke roll. perhaps I could just use Ted Reed synco exercises to develop it further…thx for inspiration
@@grantallardyce5282 Write out the notation for a couple of measures, if dealing with 5, 7, I usually go until it resolves. I then put the sticking underneath, for example if a paradiddle in 1/8 note triplets is the target sticking. Then put the accents on top and see where it lands in he sticking. For Jazz notation I start with down beats, practice that in the sticking, then up beats, then consecutive 1/8 notes (shuffle). Hope this helps.

I will add more details and a pdf to help. Essentially I developed exercises to play any accents patterns within paradiddles.
