- I went TROUT fishing with inline spinners! I used a gold blade Fish Hawk spinner to catch some rainbow trout and brown trout. I fished a small creek that was loaded with trout. The trout were a bit finicky but I managed to get some nice trout in the net!

Well, the fishing has been very tough here in PA with all the rain that we’ve had. It’s almost impossible to fish, rivers streams or creeks, so I’m forced to fish the lakes that are up here and some of the lakes are all high and muddy also so there’s only a few places that I can fish right now but I have caught 161 trout since, 6 April.
Ya us too in ny. The rain is killing the opening season. Worst part is the dams keep letting water out qnd th4 rivers are 2 or 3 feet higher and fast than they should be smh

I been trying to find time to get out on the many streams by my house but life has gotten in the way. This coming week I will hit it hard! There are only browns and occasional brook where I live in central NY.

I've been following you for a few months now....I'm really struggling to connect with the trout in southwest Michigan. Probably the same creeks you're in! For the inline spinners, is there really a hook set? It feels like it's just reeling in on an angle and maintaining pressure
I don’t think hunk about setting hook . The fish do it for me
Pretty much just reeling tight and keeping pressure sort of like when you’re fishing a crankbait for bass. I try to set the hook a little bit but not super hard.
