  • Hello my lovelies, thank you for being so patient whilst I was away on holiday and then taking a week longer to film this video!
My starting point was the bluebell woods which I had only blocked the colours for in • If You Go Down to the ... in this video I'll show you how to make all sorts of different embellishments mostly using threads. If you have some tapestry wool or even knitting yarn you can make something that will add depth to your work. I also used embroidery silk/floss and some other bits and pieces I had.
The company name for silk throwsters waste is "Oliver Twist's" www.olivertwis...
I am not affiliated with them in any way and this video is not sponsored, I just think they make the coolest stuff for textile landscapes and I've never seen anything like it anywhere else.
I really hope you find this video helpful and enjoyable, thank you as always for watching and for your support, Happy sewing! Eleanor 💚

This whole process is really lovely. I think I have watched this episode half a dozen times so far. I don't know, honestly, if I have the long-term attention to detail to attempt something like this, but it is some challenge to reach for!

Thank you for the video. You have been really helpful for products in sharing not only what we can use but mentioning where we can buy some of the fibres. I got the book and had a lovely time on Oliver Twists web site . Fingers crossed I can now do my landscape piece justice.
