  • Hello my lovelies, I've been inspired by spring and beautiful bluebells. Do bluebells grow where you live? I thought I'd share the whole process of making a textile landscape. I've included the inspiration piece and how to break down an image into shapes so that you can recreate it in fabric. Making a piece this large takes time, a lot of time but I hope you agree that it's worth it. Thank you for being so patient as I took an extra week to make this video, as a rough estimate I would say that so far it's taken about 30 hours. The embellishment process will be in the next video and I'll be covering some hand embroidery and machine embroidery, and lots of hints and tips that you can apply to your own textile art. Enjoy the video!
    Eleanor 💚

Thank you for the video,I have now watched this video three or four times. I embroider but recently started slow stitching along with many and decided I wanted to be be more creative and try a landscape. This has been so helpful. I learn so much from you working through the project. You are so good at explaining everything.

What a brilliant way to use scraps! I usually make snippet rolls but this looks fun to try, thanks :)

I've never had art lessons, and your instructions of starting with the far away point are super helpful! I can see how to break things down and layer them. I am super inspired to do something like this in the next few months. Thank you.

This is so interesting. Thanks for sharing. I've wanted to see how to create a landscape picture for a long time. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. ❤ 😊 from Somerset. PS I have pressed the bell but it won't fill in. Will I miss anything? Hope not.

Hi Elizabeth, glad you enjoyed the video, I hope you have a go. About the bell notification the only time that's happend to me on RUclips was when the app needed updating.
