I don't understand how you can remember where to go. The area is HUGE and there are jumps all over the place. I would be lost after the first two jumps.
oh my goodness his ears were pricked so hard i thought they might fall off haha what a goof - congrats on a great ride! also nice job slaloming between the trees omg
Ikr! Those ears were so happy, it was so cute. Usually when my OTTB does that, it means he found something terrifying and will spook in a few seconds if I don’t do anything 😂
He is so game and focused. I love getting to run the course from your perspective. I especially enjoy getting to see the cool down, untacking and hose sessions with the cookie chasers. Thank you for taking the time to do them.
You can tell he just loves this his ears are forwards and he’s staying alert and he looks so happy and he’s going at a very nice pace I can also tell he is very experienced with this
He is such a handsome boy! You can tell he is ready to go with those ears pricked and he is ready to go over whatever obstacle is thrown at him! He is such a good mover and a good boy! Go Riot❤️ go Elisa❤️
To the people who believe horses don’t love their job, watch her pull back a little bit and he tries to yank his head because he wants to do his job! Great Ride!
Wow, impressive right out of the start box, he got away quicker and jumped even better in a higher gear. Amazing to a great horse raising to your expectations and clever you knowing when it’s the right time to press those buttons.❤️
I love the confidence this rider has in her horse, and the confidence that this horse has in his rider, it’s amazing because not all riders make a good connection with their horses like you do, you were riding smoothly the whole time, and the horse had a smooth gallop as well, it’s like you two were communicating with each other to make the perfect rhythm, great job!
@@striderthesaberwolf1096 I believe a accident in the pasture, unsure if he died on site or was euthanized. Sure Elisa site she has a video, she does not go into details. Sad loss of a beautiful horse
Thank you for posting this video! I felt like I was along for the ride on your amazing horse! Wishing you the best of luck in the future, it was a pleasure watching this beautiful team!
You do realise that all your event horses are able to count backwards from 10. And that starter is going to fall off the chair when one of them says "thank you" instead of you!!
Watta Boy is right on. He is learning to answer the questions himself. He is fast. The ground flew by and those fences came up quick. He never really faltered at anything. Well done to the two of you. Lovely ride. The sponsors put an ad in right as you jumped into the water and I thought for a second you had fallen. It then I
@@catbarr924 Oh I'm sorry... I lost my special boy, Buster, a few years ago, so I know how you feel. I hope you're doing ok and I'm here if you need to talk. 💚

💙🙌💎👏 major proud fan moment here!!! Fabulous proactive riding as always and so happy to see him just clicking around. Beautiful puzzle so well put together! Thank you for sharing the walk back and untacking. Always great to see Megan and being such a huge support too. 🔥🚀❤️🥰
Talk about trying his heart out what a big brave boy and that was some incredible riding wow i am really impressed how you rode him he is big and long a lot to ride, you gave him wings and courage, he has so much heart and scope maybe even too much heart he will gain in wisdom with your big Heart xxxx
He was sooo amazing I am so sorry for your loss Hopefully he is having lots of fun in horse heaven And wait a moment ...you sold lee??? Really? @@baysalldays4882 ooh, I didn't know that of course. I'm not watching vids of this channel for that long and not in chronological order. That must have been tough for her.
I love watching these videos to help me improve as a show jumper. I have tons of competitions ahead and watching these videos from a riders perspective helps me improve without even riding.
He honestly has just taken over the reins from Johnny 😍👌 just wondering does he always sound a bit thick in his wind like that when he runs? It’s more noticeable when he is approaching a fence? Great riding ❤️
He is so fit. You had him galloping like a thoroughbred. And those ears! Such confidence he showed. What a great outing.
What is he anyway? Yes I know he’s a horse but what kind.
What a beautiful boy. Those pricked ears are like lasers...he knows his business.
Horses knows what to do any time and anywhere ❤️
He was absolutely all there and focused and loving his job.
I don't understand how you can remember where to go. The area is HUGE and there are jumps all over the place. I would be lost after the first two jumps.
Many cross country courses are just a huge loop lol. in my opinion they are easier to remember than stadium courses XD
Ikr lol😂
Before the corse they walk around there area and the numbers on the flags help them remember
And they must practice day and night 😅
Same
He's so enthusiastic. You can tell he loves his job!
That’s exactly what i thought
There was no slowing him down! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Awesome 😍
I sure see something different! He’s just doing what she’s telling him to do.
that's why you walk the course 5 times...

OTTB stands for Off The Track Thoroughbred - so basically just a TB (thoroughbred) that used to race.
I could hear him starting to tire about halfway through but you encouraged him and he did such a good job!
Is that why he was breathing like that I thought it was something bad but never mind both horse and rider did an fantastic job 😍😍😊😊😊😍
You do not understand how much I wanna do cross country and just riding by urself and jumping is such a relaxing peaceful experience
He is so game and focused. I love getting to run the course from your perspective. I especially enjoy getting to see the cool down, untacking and hose sessions with the cookie chasers. Thank you for taking the time to do them.

his stride looks massive
He’s 16.3h, so he’s a bigger horse!

Holy crap! I am exhausted from watching lol! Nice job both of you!
Lol
He jumped really nice on mostly everyone one, your horse is like a thoroughbred on a race track! Congratulations!

You're one of my favorite riders to watch and this ride looked so fun and Riot Gear reminds me of my ottb! Ears up and looking for the next fence!
From beginner mustangs to novice thoroughbreds I love to watch you ride!! Please keep posting these videos Elisa!
I love watching his videos, esp, his ears. Thank you for keeping his videos up. What a loss to your barn.
What happened to Riot?

I miss this boy so much.
I love how when she talks/urges him on he swivels his ear to listen to her
I love watching these and I love the way you talk to him. Real team work - it’s a total delight.
Congratulations Elisa and Rye on the win!
It’s the ears for me. Horse ears are so soft, I love them.
This horse is having so much fun.

Unbelievably great job by you both! My heart still beats hard now while I am writing this.
Wow that’s awesome… I used to ride cross country at 63 watching this took me back …
Wow! You can really tell by his ears that he knows what he’s doing and what a nice outing!!
As a Mongolian. Horse riding is very easy but doing parkour is so difficult. Cheers lad.

The fact that she did that without gloves is just amazing😍😍

I've just watched the video of Wy running the course and then I go to this... it's fun how different horses can be!
He is filled out like a beast, looking good you two! Thanks for showing the cool out
Those ears are like laser pointers! Well done!
You really motored around that one and Riot looked to have it all sewn up! Well done to both.
I cant ride because of flooding, this helps me feel like I'm riding again. Thank you
He runs wild but he’s tame, amazing combo!
Lovely horse, excellent riding! This was fun to see!!
That horse really loves it! ears barely moved the whole time!

Gorgeous distances to those fences - you have a lovely cool eye.
This is amazing! I would love to do this seeing how amazing your partnership with your horse is
Kinda early! Love your content! You ride so beautifully! Keep up the great work!
Your horse is so good my one can't even get over a small cross jump with out bucking or spooking
Riot said “I AM SPEEEEED!”

I'd like to thank myself for watching this before getting exhausted
I love how his ears were stuck forward the whole time!

Yeah I'm wondering that too, possible roarer?
He just breathes heavier. I know Elisa said in a comment on another video that he actually recovers the quickest of her upper leveled horses
“...3...2...1. Have a wonderful round”

its clear he loves his job 🥰
And people still have the audacity to say this isn’t a sport
me and my mare in the background at 6:45 walking to stadium 😂
Cool!!
You know you have a good horse when you can count how many times their ears go back on one hand 😂
Not only does it take a lot of horsepower it takes a lot of brain power to remember the course 😂
