What is he anyway? Yes I know he’s a horse but what kind.
I don't understand how you can remember where to go. The area is HUGE and there are jumps all over the place. I would be lost after the first two jumps.
Many cross country courses are just a huge loop lol. in my opinion they are easier to remember than stadium courses XD

Before the corse they walk around there area and the numbers on the flags help them remember

Ikr! Those ears were so happy, it was so cute. Usually when my OTTB does that, it means he found something terrifying and will spook in a few seconds if I don’t do anything 😂
OTTB stands for Off The Track Thoroughbred - so basically just a TB (thoroughbred) that used to race.

He is so game and focused. I love getting to run the course from your perspective. I especially enjoy getting to see the cool down, untacking and hose sessions with the cookie chasers. Thank you for taking the time to do them.

I love the confidence this rider has in her horse, and the confidence that this horse has in his rider, it’s amazing because not all riders make a good connection with their horses like you do, you were riding smoothly the whole time, and the horse had a smooth gallop as well, it’s like you two were communicating with each other to make the perfect rhythm, great job!
I love watching these and I love the way you talk to him. Real team work - it’s a total delight.

How do you remember your course I have my first event next weekend and I’m doing entry so any tips
Most of the riders I've talked to walk the course several times to make sure they know it. Missing a jump or jumping the wrong one is a bad way to end your weekend.

I believe it is much harder to condition a Warmblood for these upper level courses than a Thoroughbred. Nice round, very flat course.
Camera lens makes it look flat. It is not (a couple of big gallop hills).
