I haven't played call of duty since mw2019, the fact that they keep using the same maps over and over, i truly cant tell which game is which sometimes. Call of duty games used to each have distinct aesthetics but now it seems they're going for photorealistic for all of them
It's because the devs make this game from the perspective of 4k+HDR. Flip on HDR and you'll see the issues you mention fade away somewhat. Meanwhile these games look washed out in SDR

Im quite worried about the textures, I really hope it's just an issue related to the servers not being at full power yet. Cuz otherwise we'll have to live with these 144p textures all year lol

The textures are supposed to load in gradually, starting at a low resolution and increasing to a higher one, it's called texture fade in or something like that, but it's probably just not working correctly. When you load the game the first time the textures are fine, but as you continue going through games it happens so it's probably a bug

Yeah, people keep saying betas are similar to the release build, but that's not true all the time. This beta is missing lighting details, especially on character models and guns. I remember the MWIII beta was missing car suspension when you climb on them or changes to the Favela map lighting. And one of the guns had an unfinished inspect animation which was fixed at release.

I think most people understand tht COD has changed and comparing B06 and B01 doesn't mean much because of how long it has been. I think most people have issues with the new formula COD has adopted, where they use the same modern warfare engine, graphics, gameplay loops, etc. I compare it to when advanced warfare, bo3, and infinite warfare came out; when people didn't want the "boots on the ground" movement/gameplay. A lot of the people who hate COD now loved it back then and want it to return to that formula, but these people are no longer the prime demographic. If you enjoy the game you enjoy the game, if you don't you don't.
Last one I played was Black Ops 3, and this looks amazing compared to that. Call of Duty fans are truly never happy. I see why I took a break from the series.

@@contra5975MW3 is significantly blurrier due to the TAA they use. BO6 uses less aggressive AA and theres more bump maps on certain textures in BO6 giving more depth. MW3 looked flat in a lot of areas and smudgier. On top of that ambient occlusion on MW3 looked awful. Certain maps the textures for walls looked really off. BO6 has the better art direction by far
People clearly don’t understand… Black ops has always been arcade style Modern warfare has always been military style realistic. There options for both people so no reason to complain. You can see this in how realistic mw storyline campaigns are and gun attachments. If you want something less real then black ops is perfect for you. Either way cod gets it right.

It doesn’t matter if it’s “aRcAdE sTYle” it’s 2024 nearing 2025 mostly everyone has next gen consoles paying 500-600+ for graphic improvements and realism. Whether it’s black ops or modern warfare, the games shouldn’t be looking and running like last gen consoles, it should be looking and running super smooth,crisp and Realistic by default regardless of which one you choose.
Hope the campaign won't disappoint. The game already looks pretty good to me and very enjoyable aswell. People nowadays just knows how to hate only cuz it doesn't match their nostalgic memories.

The thing most people fail to realize is that during the yearly cycle, every cod games graphics go through multiple visual overhauls and update throughout the year which make them look better and more crisp, improved lighting and so on. So the older cod in the last season always looks better than the new one in beta.
I love how his teammates run next to him being serious in the match while he starts shooting at the air, the car, the pool... I even saw how one teammate was looking at you while you were looking at the air then he looked away and left (maybe he thought "mmm maybe it's a new player*) but when you started shooting he looked behind him and he came back to find out who was shooting and then he saw that it was you and left 😂😂😂

Hate it or love it, there is no franchise better than COD. Every year the community receives a new game with new mechanics, maps and guns. When like Battlefield you get a game every 2 3 years where if the new game sucks the community is damned to play the older releases and only pray they receive something good next time. People give COD shit without appreciating how healthy the franchise actually is despite all the flaws the recent games have.
Releasing once in every 2 year with 2 year support for their previous game is the correct way. Annual cycle will cause too much saturation and recycling. Before 2020, BF did it correctly. But today Bf cant do it anymore.

It's missing the tech spec pop of MW2019. It'd be kinda fun to hit a puddle and get splash back on the screen. Also after hit water droplets. It'd annoy so many players.
You can really see how much better general movement is in MWIII and aiming and the mechanics overall. MWII was better especially in gunplay and aiming, though. BO6 feels absolutely terrible.
The lighting is very bright and colorful in bo6 but mw3 just reminds me of a source engine game without any shading. I still think that Advanced Warfare, MW19, and Cold War had better graphics and lighting. The contrast levels in BO6 and MW3 have been blown out and everything looks like one of those flashbacks from a dream works movie with this white haze. Might need to lower the brightness a bit. Compared to Cold War, graphics and animations are a step up again from the usual. Glad to see they’re still making games in their slightly cartoonish style.

honestly mw(2019) 2 & 3 has had the most realistic graphics we had compared to any other cod today. the scenes feel & look real even handling weapons feels about right but compared to bo6 not so much.
The weapon attachments are trash, not a big selection. The character models look stupid They should bring back emblem creator Add character customization The guns feel weird when running and looking. This game seems like a let down..fun to play tho with the hostage taking and graping, but other than that...a major let down

All of them fucking suck now. Gameplay is great, art design is ass cheeks, guns don't look like their irl counterparts and the addition of these stupid ass skins makes the game look more clowny than it already is.
I wanna go back to no name operator with different skins based on the primary weapon you're running, or even the "primary" perk you have selected like in OG blackops. That shit was dope and made sense for what's actually going on. I have no doubt that in less than 3 months they'll be some over-the-top retard ass skins running around while I'm still just trying to enjoy what little tactical design is left.
It doesn’t matter if it’s “aRcAdE sTYle” it’s 2024 nearing 2025 mostly everyone has next gen consoles paying 500-600+ for graphic improvements and realism. Whether it’s black ops or modern warfare, the games shouldn’t be looking and running like last gen consoles, it should be looking and running super smooth,crisp and Realistic by default regardless of which one you choose.

The only thing that matters is gameplay and COD Black Ops 6 seems to be leagues better than MW 2019. Not everything needs to look realistic to the tiniest detail for someone to enjoy it.

Honestly, like everyone is so hyper focused on the most meaningless shit when it comes to games now. Asset Reuse? Dogshit game, lazy devs. Marginally different graphics? Downgraded. Nobody actually cares for actual gameplay changes like omni movement in this game for example. If anything, the yakuza series just proves a game really doesn’t need to be completely reconstructed unnecessarily to be “good”. Like when the fuck am I gonna care about the water particle effects?
IW games will always have the graphics where Treyarch is more cartoony looking. Always been like that. I prefer IW games

The thing most people fail to realize is that during the yearly cycle, every cod games graphics go through multiple visual overhauls and update throughout the year which make them look better and more crisp, improved lighting and so on. So the older cod in the last season always looks better than the new one in beta.

I love how his teammates run next to him being serious in the match while he starts shooting at the air, the car, the pool... I even saw how one teammate was looking at you while you were looking at the air then he looked away and left (maybe he thought "mmm maybe it's a new player*) but when you started shooting he looked behind him and he came back to find out who was shooting and then he saw that it was you and left 😂😂😂

Hate it or love it, there is no franchise better than COD. Every year the community receives a new game with new mechanics, maps and guns. When like Battlefield you get a game every 2 3 years where if the new game sucks the community is damned to play the older releases and only pray they receive something good next time. You can really see how much better general movement is in MWIII and aiming and the mechanics overall. MWII was better especially in gunplay and aiming, though. BO6 feels absolutely terrible.

The lighting is very bright and colorful in bo6 but mw3 just reminds me of a source engine game without any shading. I still think that Advanced Warfare, MW19, and Cold War had better graphics and lighting. The contrast levels in BO6 and MW3 have been blown out and everything looks like one of those flashbacks from a dream works movie with this white haze. Might need to lower the brightness a bit. Compared to Cold War, graphics and animations are a step up again from the usual. Glad to see they’re still making games in their slightly cartoonish style.
