    For those who have posted insulting comments, we will not be replying to you. Please believe as you wish and reject Quranic verses and ahadith as you wish. For those with genuine questions, these are answered below, even though these have been answered in the Shaikh's lecture:
    1. Can we celebrate every year? Answer: Yes, as our beloved prophet (ﷺ) fasted every week in celebration, thus if every week is a sunnah then every year is a sunnah and permissible.
    2. Surely the day of birth is to be celebrated? Yes, yes, yes. That is the day we are remembering and celebrating, The day of birth.
    3. Our prophet (ﷺ) did not celebrate his birthday. Answer: The shaikh has proven the numerous ways he ﷺ celebrated and his companions celebrated from Qur'an, Muslim and Bukhari. Please watch the video again.
    4. Give me the reference. Answer: All references have been provided. Please watch the video again.
    5. Birthday celebration is satanic ! Answer: Really? So we must give up Aqeeqah then should we? And reject fasting on Mondays should we? And reject Bukhari should we and what he says? Well done.

    Also shaikh, I have another doubt, like Aqeeqah is done only for the day of birth right. That is, only once right. Or can we give for someone who is 55 yrs old too. As I have not heard of anyone doing it like that. Pls provide clarity on this too shaikh.
    Because its a practice to do on 7th day or as early as possible.
    Your interpretation gave a whole new meaning shaikh

      Better to do early, but not forbidden to do late. Not sure why some people restrict Islam and forbid things that are not forbidden.
      Aqeeqa is a celebration of a birthday. No doubt.
      One can sacrifice for others at any time in fact. There is no restriction.

    Did our Prophet ( SAWS ) celebrate his birthday each year and did the companions ?

      @shaikhtauqirishaq9707  6 месяцев назад +3

      Yes. In fact they celebrated weekly. So weekly is permissible, monthly is permissible and annually is permissible. In short, it is permissible. There is not a single verse or hadith forbidding it. So not to practice it is bid'ah.
      Please watch the video again.

      All ahadith and Quranic verses have been referenced. Please watch the video again. And then again if you have to. Some have even been reproduced on the video in English and Arabic.
      If you have a specific hadith in mind that you don't like, let me know and I will give you the full reference inshaAllah. Otherwise you are misguiding people.
