I live in Michigan and I have the BANANA croton.. it almost died in the winter months (inside) but I kept it alive and I put outside in full sunlight during the summer months. Boy ....did it grow!!!! Its fall now.. its back inside, bigger pot, better soil and its doing great!!
Hello I love the color Crotons is there a variety that will grow beautiful in container outdoors during the warm weather yet still do well indoors during the winter than others ? Or are they all grown the same ?
I reside in Hawaii and I was planning on adding several Croton varieties to my front yard . I get direct sun for about 9 hours . I'm wondering with this amount of sunlight the Crotons with thrive . Any suggestions as to which varieties thrive with this amount of sunlight?

NO, NEVER throw away any plant, some take longer to grow than others. Love them all.

They basically all grow the same inside but not real well. Give as much light as possible.
