To be fair I’m level 42 and the game don’t get harder what so ever. It is a worse HI3 in terms of combat. The story is meh like all gacha story. It’s made for casuals inherently like any other gacha game. Now that I am at level 42 I’m bored and the combat isn’t fulfilling to me.
You can't say "the game is ass but I'm gonna cover it anyway, please watch me" and expect it to go well. It just doesn't work and it's crazy that Mtashed can't wrap his head around this simple fact. Would you go to a restaurant the chef tells you the ingredients he has to work with are bad but please come back? No you wouldn't. I think most gacha games aren’t interesting to watch on stream, the streamers can make it interesting by being actually knowledgeable about the game, but most of them aren’t. and people aren’t going to watch someone that’s clearly aren’t having fun with the game.
To me ZZZ feels like back to the old Genshin waifus, mona’s & Jean’s as, Ganyu’s whatever, Raiden, Shenhe you name it. Genshin has been trying to get rid of the sexism, meanwhile ZZZ is like there is no need to avoid anything. The combat was fun, but gets much harder when you reach lv40, you need to have at least 1 pu character, like ellen or zhu as dps, or every boss fight is just too long to finish
I agree. I think that, more than anything, it gets much harder because of the DPS check and the amount of damage enemies make on top of that, because you don't have a healer, but I did notice that I'm having a much harder time for not using the promotional banner than on WuWa. Genshin is the hardest game if you're a new player. All the end-game content is painful if you have, let's say, just 2 months in the game. It's impossible to complete, but the game is almost 4 years old, so it's normal. Back when it was new, it was easy to rush to the end-game and complete it with any semi-decent team. Then you have WuWa. People told you I was going to need 9 characters for the end-game. 7 were enough, and I didn't even used to promotional banner because I started playing on 1.1, and I'm not liking any of the characters. ZZZ is a joke tho. You have 3 free characters that can make an excelent team, but then you need another 3, and when the team is bad because you don't have the right characters to have a second decent one, you're pretty much fawked. You can do all the rotation DPS calcs you want. Make all the Python scripts you can to get the most out of what you have, go to WFP and see if someone found out something that could help you, join all the theorycraft groups you want, etc, and the answer you're going to find is the same one: the DPS check sucks, so either wait until your secondary copium team is stronger, or pull for more characters.
But genshin has never been like that. Thats one of many reasons why it appealed to a broader audience in the first place. I would personally have never play it if genshin was a big booba waifu game and thats kinda how I was seeing gatcha before

Mtashed was already a full time content creator for over 5 years with 400k subs prior to genshins release. Idk why he didn't just stick with destiny
