Edit: I misspoke on the loot increases on weekends. That only happens when they specifically say loot increase, and not on normal weekends
I have tried fishing on multiple types of servers and fishing just isn’t as good as running caves or drops. It’s easier yes i just don’t find as much of what I need with fishing. Caves you are almost always getting flak or boss worthy dino saddles.
My personal strategy is take a bary to the cave where the immune artefact is and run the cave. Double red drop every time. It also usually has 4-6 items which are usually useful.
you clearly dont understand official, official is not 3x. Capped weapons are 298% not 700. Saddles are capped at 124. Loot chance does NOT multiply with rates on official. The loot youre getting on your "official server settings" single player world is SIGNIFICANTLY higher and better than anything on official, stop comparing them.

I have grabbed many drops in official and I can confirm that the drops in local if you do not modify anything, the quality of the loot will be exactly the same as in official. Of course, the only difference is that the official has limits that there are no locally.

@@eliasr1286 ase drops are not the same as asa drops, official asa drops are super boosted compared to official ase

Do not waste your time fishing its actually not even worth it ive fished on both island and center with 400%+ effectiveness rods if your looking for things like high end saddles or high end weapons, farm caves instead 👍

You said you've got the minigame turned off in your settings. Is that a setting in the Advanced Fishing mod, or a standard Ark setting?

No it's a mod he can't play the game on official settings everything he does is with mods

The weekend server rates on official don't effect the amount of loot you get or the quality, it only effects xp, harvesting, breeding
Hope the fishing js better than The Island. I only got a small selection of bps that kept repeating.

Someone on discord said 5 Xiphactinus can kill anything. In particular because of their bleed and heal.
Fishing is worthless, unless you boost the drop rate.

No just kinda of a forgotten tactic to getting bp’s and stuff. He should really try it out on official settings and not hella boosted settings he has
