Thank you Mam, I just saw Aanadaa's video day before yesterday. And today I am seeing you in TED. You definately deserved this and much more stages like this to bring back the roots of Agriculture in the ecosystem to enhance the lifestyle of Farmers and lastly we as consumers. We have to live with Nature to live healthy, to age gracefully and with a longer good Life. Namaskar🙏
It's really inspiring and practical..!!!👌 I'm a part of eco-crew in my clg and I'll do my best in promoting permaculture!!! thank you so much!!😊wanna visit the farm place andn truly wanna see everyplace as such!!!🙏😁
Wow! I am very impressed. I have been doing permaculture on my farm here in East Tennessee for the last 25 years. I live alone but I produce so much food with just myself as labor. I share with many people and seniors during this pandemic that are unable to get out frequently to shop. A permaculture gardening is a love of mine and also a hobby. I preserve and dehydrate and process much of the food that I eat all year. I am also a vegetarian which I learned to be vegetarian by living in Tamil Nadu South India back in the early 70s. I worked in a small village working with Farmers on teaching methods of increasing their rice production with the use of chemicals and fertilizers. My God, I have come a long way since. I go back to India on occasion because the people in that Village became my family that I love so dearly. Even today, here in Tennessee I still cook and eat mostly South Indian vegetarian food. Thank you for your work. This was an incredible video. Please remain safe and healthy you and your family during this pandemic.
I am so happy that people are still spreading the P word! My urban food forest in Portland Oregon is now over 10 years old and producing well enough and educating those who come through. My homestead in the city (6 years) has provided us with fruit, vegetables, berries and nuts, our chickens are happy fertilizing our compost heap and giving us eggs. It is a beautiful paradigm shift to experience and it makes me so happy to see others going through it too!!
Please give us an update! I was in Peñiscola last week and saw some terraced hills there, am very curious how your project is going. Wish you much success
dear mam (manisha guptaji ), your work and videos are so much inspriring. your speech is very clear and understanding. you have achieved much success in permaculture. great job.
BRILLIANT! My wish is that a new earth emerges where humankind realizes that we are totally interdependent upon the earth - plants AND animals.✌Homesteads and small scale will be the new revolution for all globally.
I'm starting architecture school soon and permaculture is a big inspiration for me. I want every home and community to have permaculture at its center. We have to live in nature, in balance-not try to tame it to bend to our will.
Amazing, have just started gardening and composting on my terrace and balconies since the lockdown. Just looking at everything green every morning makes me so happy.
Excellent speech. One Manisha is not enough for our country. Planting the trees and mulching are the perfect ideas for the successful farming. Mulches break down over years and contribute to soil health. Thanks Manisha.
I was spellbounded while watching this video....Mam you and team are doing not only a great job but also sharing your steps...that's why I like your newly founded channel so much....I am almost halfway of watching all the videos of your channel....and will soon watch it all and read all the articles shared by ananda in every platform.... finding your channel is one of the greatest blessings in my life Thank You Aananda.
Hi I am from Malta. Having been following your channel for a long time now. Very inspiring family and person. I want to do the same thing in my country where permaculture is almost non existing. Great talk as well. :) keep the videos coming :)
Great video! Very inspiring... Taking care of a piece of land is to take care of Earth and all the living beings on it. Cultivate and be vegan is the way!
"...our farmers are dependent on their next crop for their livelihood" that's so true and I want to thank you for mentioning this. I have been there when my father was earning our whole livelihood through farming. Only way to come out of this is by having at least one person in farmer's family to have job which can support family and agriculture. Only then we will be able to break this chain. Government will never help us on this as it is busy in procuring large farms for corporate who can make government free of its responsibilities towards farmers
Excellent very inspiring, encouraging & Sustainable. Our farmers need a culture change with Permaculture. Let us make our society healthy body with positive & active mind in nation building.
Dear Manischa, what a wonderful talk. You have been an inspiraion to me from the very first post on LinkedIN with the first movie on Ananda farm. I dearly hope to be able to visit one day. Meanwhile, we are 1 year into buildng our ecoystem near Pune and going through all the same experiences as you are... I hope and pray that more and more and more people follow and convert their land. Love and abundance!
Our wishes first, you've made understand that farming isn't only for the layman, as could see the frontier of permaculture with dedication and manifestation of dreams into reality. More ahead madam ji.
You are lucky with the growth you have in your area. I live in northern Europe and our trees grow so slowly, that we have the Dutch expression: ‘Boompje groot, plantertje dood.’ Which means that by the time the tree is big, the planter is dead.
@@farmaanandaa lucky you. Fortunately, I am involved with permaculture projects in South Africa. That way I can at least enjoy a 12 month growing season by proxy. 😬
New Earth - global localization and decentralization of power - just people living in reciprocity with Mother Earth ❤️❤️ abundance and security for all
There is such common sense and infectious enthusiasm in building this permaculture farm! Thought for the present, faith in building a better future for future generations! Good experience on the way to the realization of the idea! They planted good seeds and achieved a good harvest! Be healthy, family, let your farm prosper, which is inevitable with the good care you show!
my takeaway- slow consumption. thank you for what you are doing ms lath. i need more time in my work life, to make sure i can sustain my interest in a better way of life- farming and an animal sanctuary (hopefully create jobs too) but for some time now, slow consumption and being mindful of how i live my life has been my way of giving thanks to mother earth and the universe.
Very well done. Aanandaa is a beautiful example of Permaculture feeding the world through nutrient cycling and diverse yields. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Beautifully put Ma'am, this is just perfect. Perfectly clearing ALL the "con's" the general public usually have in mind and the reasons why they don't get into agriculture. We're all educated enough to be Urban Farmers 😁 Thank you.

If you want to be rich, then you can't go with Permaculture and even farming. Permaculture gives you enough to feed stomach with luxurious food but to fullfil luxurious desires
Very well presentation mam , even you are not from Agri back ground, you learnt and had success .We are farmers, as you ended with the main points that all farmers are not able to leave their past waste farming methods. With little patience we can reach it.Thank you very much.
Soooo Beautifully presented! Proud of you Manisha! I had been greatly inspired by Nammalvars talks on permaculture i think around 2006 or 2007. Later i was happy to see Aranyas development, a couple in Goa and then Aananda's. In between i used to check out Rob Greenfield and others. But recently my urgency has increased by Aanandas consistent posts. Now I am waiting impatiently to get a piece of land to rejuvenate. If not for this Covid, we would be out there now searching for land. And they are so expensive too....But I believe everything has its own time!

Do you know about any permaculture farms that produce grains in a way that can compete with normal production methods ..
It's heartwarming to see someone from Tennessee talking about our very own Tamilnadu and our culture...
