They were playing the long game. They lured in people here and there in order to capture a dragon, as that was their only way through the wall.
That said, it takes quite some time for an army of the dead to get from the wall to Winterfell, if I was Dany and Jon, I would fly north and take some firey pot-shots at the dead army, burning a few thousand at a time, while staying far away from the Night King. Reduce the army numbers with fire!
The Baratheons were fighting the Targaryens at the time and thought Lyanna Stark was kidnapped. Ned was fighting with them. If they knew that Jon was a Targaryen, they most likely would have killed him. Ned saved his nephew and made up the lie that Jon was a Snow.

Dany is Jon's Aunt. Cat didn't hang out under that tree. She found Ned sharpening his under the tree, and she and Robb, Theon, an Rodderick met there to discuss her theory about the Lannisters trying to kill Bran. It is fire, blue flame is supposedly the hottest.
I relate to Steejo on shaving it all off, sometimes it's just nice to have no hair to worry about. Done it a few times myself.
My girlfriend hates it, she wants me to trim it, but it's much cheaper to do it myself lol

Little finger wasn’t on Arya’s list. She wasn’t even really aware of him until she got to Winterfell.

I just love watching ppl calling Sansa dumb throughout this whole season without noting how many times she’s clocked Little Finger before, only to figure out they’re actually the dumb ones for not catching on to Sansa catching on and playing along, because the reality is she learned from the most conniving and learned a while back, like way back when she escaped Ramsey 😊
When she escaped Ramsey. So literally dumb for most of the show then? She fell for all little fingers BS until that point. Took her some time. I'm not a sansa hater. But she was stupid for that and for not leaving with the hound.
@@carolinecoy3164 but also in terms of after when Ned died and she had to play a role for he safety w the Lannisters so many ppl thought she was legit still on their side, once again where people kept underestimating her level of understanding. Like yeah she made dumb decisions but she’s overly discounted I think.
There was a deleted scene where Bran told her everything. (The actor who played Bran talked about hiw they filmed it but it got cut). She knew about how shady he was and that he killed her aunt, but she didn’t put the whole thing together on her own.

A lot of people still see her as the feminine, bratty child that cared about being queen and nothing else. People refuse to believe she has evolved, which is quite sad. I actually much prefer her development to Arya. Arya was a tomboy who didn't want to be a lady- and that's exactly what she became. Very little growth imo. Whereas Sansa had to learn the hard way that palace life is complicated and cruel. She had to play the fool and learn the game. She went from caring only about being queen to fighting to get out of there, to being the voice for the North.
Jon is the one best to rule not even kidding. Also- Jaime almost dying was actually one of the rare times these last few seasons I stopped breathing for a second 🤚🏼 FREAKED me out. No matter what Jamie is one of my favorite characters
Jon would be an awful ruler. The guy has zero understanding of political nuances. Especially the TV shows version of Jon. They turned him into a Ned Stark 2.0, but even more clueless.
Dany is his aunt. Rhaegar was her much older brother.

despite the obvious smear campaign that joe and his team started against sophie. she actually has the majority of support because it came out that she was completely blindsided by him and lied on.
She’s the chick. Of course chicks support her. They’ll be like “ Go Queen”. And simps think they’ll be able to nail her, so they’ll back her.
I had not heard that she was claiming she was blindsided, but given how often the ladies file for divorce, i’ll be curious to see how it plays out.

I laugh when i see the bit where Bron and Pod go off to drink. There was a widely talked about story about how Bron and Cersei had a fling that ended so badly they are deliberately kept out of scenes together because there is so much bad blood.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't Jerome (Bron) and Lena (Cersei) married? And it was the divorce that was really messy? It was put in their contract to not be on screen together, though it does happen that *one* time after Tyrion is injured in the Blackwater.

Don't forget that Benjen said that the wall was built with magic, and Bran (with the mark on his arm from the Night King) passed through the wall. Maybe he cancelled out the magic that blocked the dead just like his returning to the tree enabled the dead to enter the tree. Also, Littlefinger was never on Arya's list.
I believe that their ancestor Brandon the Builder, founder of House Stark, created the wall and Winterfell.
@@Leo_ofRedKeep There was a wight at castle black, so obviously wights can walk around theoretically the edge of the wall. But the WW are magically repelled by the wall. The writing made sense.

His birth right is actually soldier soldier. A huge hit series in the 90s. The 2 (Robson and Jerome)were hilarious in that. And that's where the singing thing with the 2 originally began. Well worth a watch.

I've said this from the beginning and will continue to say it : the aunt-nephew thing would not be a real obstacle in the GoT universe. Everyone says Targaryens were incestuous but so were all the big houses, Starks included. In the Stark geneology is was common for cousins to marry and even uncles and nieces...Sansa herself was betrowthed to her cousin Robyn. Yes, people felt awkward about that but only because the kid was craycray, not because they were related.

its weird bran thinks jons name was sand because it was always known he was born in the south and its also established that bastards are named after where they grow up or where they have family from so he would always be snow, also rhaegars eldest son is named aegon so this means he has 2 sons named aegon
You 2 need to watch “The Last Kingdom” if you guys enjoyed Vikings and Black Sails, The last Kingdom is better than both of those.

Jon was never a bastard. Ned didnt know they got married, even if lyanna told him his name was targaryen he should have an idea that he was a legitimate child. It was just the circumstance of having to protect him cause if king robert had found out, he would have killed jon.
He was tho, not only in the book but also in the show this narrative of "he's not a bastard" doesn't work. He was married to Elia therefore he couldn't marry anyone else. That wedding wasn't legitimate at all.
@@jessi17miel we dont know in the books since theyre not finished, but in the show sam and gilly discover in a diary in oldtown that rhaegar got an annulment for his marriage to elia, so yes, lyannas amd rhaegars wedding is legitimate, and so is jon.
@@leire9444 yeah that's what I'm telling you if you care to read it. It doesn't work. It's a shitty plot because it can't happen in both the show and book. I can explain if you need it: They can't grant an annulment to R because his marriage is absolutely legitimate. How is it legitimate? Well Elia already gave him heirs. That's it nobody (specially not the Faith whom still hates the Targaryens guts) will grant the annulment bcs there's no reason to. If you remember one if the things the Targaryens did to "integrate" and be accepted by the Lord's and the ppl was to discontinue plural marriage. The Faith actually demanded them to do so. There you go: he can't have two wives bcs Elia was still alive at this point so she's the only wife he has and he can't get an annulment bcs he has no grounds to ask for one. 👍🏼💚

and Sansa was 11. So no, they're not the same age

Suzy, you misunderstood about when Sansa and Littlefinger talk, he asks her After she kills you, what does she become? and Sansa replies lady of winterfell because it's true, even tho she doesn't want to be a lady she would still be by default, just like Lady Brienne, Who's a lady but doesn't see herself as one.
As a Firefighter's Granddaughter, Daughter & Sister... blue flames are the hottest... that is how it is able to melt the wall

Catching up -Sansa's been playing the game with her tormentors as far back as S2, since S4 all she does is call out Baelish, and snark him all the way to S7, she listens and observes, from the best players, who are also the worst people and survives. As far as the charges- Sansa was a witness and or a victim to many of LF schemes. Sansa didn't know 3 maybe 4 things: 1 - the dagger story; 2 - Petyr's betrayal of Ned, 3- Harrenhal , 4 - LF manipulating Arya; Sansa goes to Bran ask questions and he fills in the blanks, Sansa sets the plan and sets up LF, Arya is the only Stark capable of carrying out the punishment.
Littlefinger WAS NEVER on Arya's list ever.
People don't seem to understand the rules of playing the game, somewhat the same as Arya's game of faces, when Sansa and LF are talking, and by the way Sansa broadcast her play when she puts her hand to her chin, ever since S6, she does it here just before LF little game speech, to play Sansa throws truth's mixed with lies- truth Arya doesn't trust Sansa wrg to family; Lie- Arya wanting to be LOWF- Truth - if Sansa dies, what does Arya become LOWF, Sansa already knows Arya doesn't want it.
Lf screwed himself playing this game to a woman who he trained, and knows him and her family better than they do.
Ned be proud too, The Starks followed Ned's words as a pack.

Here is an example of how the writers dropped the ball in the last two seasons: Suzy says - I am not criticizing her - that Theon couldn't have done anything to save his sister. But we saw established in season one when Bran was being held by the Wildling guy, that he is a pinpoint archer. We will see him be an archer again. But since it would have been inconvenient in the plot at that moment, he needed to have forgotten, and to not have brought a bow to a battle.
As you may recall they were ambushed enroute and they were fighting in close quarters. There's no reason for Theon to grab a bow.

This is one of many places the writing fell apart for me. In season 1, Ned stark knew the Lannisters were responsible for killing the former Hand of the King but he spent the whole season looking for proof. Because…you need PROOF of something. Accusations mean very little. Then, we come to this season. The Starks also know exactly how things went down with Little Finger. But…they had NO PROOF. But decided to publicly act anyway. Without proof. Shitty tie up of a great player of the game.
At least L.F. is still alive in the books. GRRM knows how to write.
The showrunners are simply hacks and that will forever follow them wherever they go. But they aren't alone. Right behind them are more hack jobs like Rings of Power and Wheel of Time.
Those are even worse.
Not to mention Sansa actually saw him do it.. ALSO they had ALL the proof with Bran..@@kylethompson3008
