As a heavy equipment mechanic myself rain,snow,mud,or sunshine the show never stops but it can get very miserable when the rain just won’t stop
I work in california so when it rains work shits down lol. Luckily i work at a construction company so we work in the shop rebuilding hoses and parts so we have spares when work picks back up
Fellow heavy duty field mechanic. 100% agree. Sucks even more here in the south and it rains some, then stops during summer. Instant swamp ass.
I was gonna say ain’t nothing worse than a downpour for about an hour than the sun comes out and it’s flat fucking miserable humid and soggy…😂

An experienced millwright in my neck of the woods lost three fingers this month to a conveyor belt on a rock crusher at a concrete plant. Shit can go bad real fast no matter where you are on the skill tree. Taking 10 seconds to emphasize the obvious can sometimes save an apprentice a trip to the hospital.
