Good to see you posting videos again! Snow sucks. I am a Florida boy currently living in Germany. My wife is enjoying 70 degree weather and I am sitting in 17 degrees and shoveling. Hope you are able to get out and ride soon. Don’t listen to the other people about your videos, they are about what you are dealing with. As far as the extended brake level, I have been running that for a long time, it is great and really makes a difference.
Bike looks and sounds great John. Thanks for the video. I have a 2020 Road King and changed mine too it made a world of comfort difference in slow speed operation .
First upgrade I did to my '19 RGS. It was mandatory for me being a taller guy. I found the difference pretty dramatic. So much better in stop-n-go traffic.
Just when I thought Silverback couldn't get any nicer. Living in Mn. just west of Minneapolis that kind of snowfall is pretty rare. But we woke up to -25 Sunday morning and -17 this morning.
That was the first upgrade I did on my SGS......Absolutely love it and your ankle is not on that harsh angle any more......sooooo much more comfortable......
I have that same brake lever on my bike and love it. You can get ones that are shorter if you have lower fairings. I have the shorter one and makes a huge difference. Great video as always 👊😎
We feel your pain, snow... rain... freezing rain... snow.. it’s been ridiculous here on Cape Cod too! Heading to Daytona in March.. not sure we can wait that long😎👊
@@CYCLEFANATIX Absolutely! Some good riding here on the Cape and Martha’s Vineyard especially before the tourists show up ... or we like to head north and rip through the white mountains of NH and ME.. Just say the word😁👊🇺🇸
John, John, John......I’m starting to worry about you. I’m guessing the snow is working on you, lol. H-D has had extended levers for both the brake and shifter levers for as long as I can remember. I put a pair on my 98 RK, a pair on my 08 Police EG and a pair on my 2013 RGU.
it didn't look like it was melting so still below freezing thanks for the install thus is another change that you've done that I will be doing also. How are the levers working for you?
I did this up grade two weeks ago on my 2020 RG, This is a must have for touring models regardless of height. Stock is uncomfortable and dangerous. You can get shorter w/ Lowes or longer w/ out. PS, easier way to install just remove three bolts holding engine mount bracket. No need to remove master cylinder, floor boards or crash guard. Lock tight n torque Done. Great vid thx for sharing. Hope ya do a ride review "when the snow is gone"
I tried your advice, removing the three bolts holding the engine mount bracket, and it was really easy. However, I did have to remove the floorboard from the hinge screws so I could slide the brake pedal all the way off. But that was easy. Thanks!
Snow blower sounds like it has a stage 2 on it ! Did Dave dyno that puppy ? 😬. Nice install and upgrade. Looks good man! We need the sun !!!!! Melt melt melt ! C ya brother!
Love the video. As much as I love riding. I never ride on the salty roads. That salt gets in every nook and cranny and turns into rust. Just a heads up.
Love the vids and content. Wondering if you ordered the arm “with lowers” or “without lowers” since you have soft lowers? They don’t mention if the longer arm fits with the soft lowers.
It wasn’t until you showed Your foot on the floor board I could see the issue. You do what I’m thinking. What do the neighbours think guy riding his bike with all that snow? Good for you pal.
WOW, THE HOOD LOOKS DIFFERENT WITH ALL THAT SNOW! I COULDNT IMAGINE HAVING TO PLOW YOUR WAY TO CLEAR VEHICLES...HAHA! GLAD I LIVE ON THE GULF COAST OF ALABAMA (EXCEPT FOR THE HUMIDITY!!)
Hey Homie, just take one bolt off floorboard, and get skinny screwdriver and hammer and the cotter pin comes rt out, took, around 5 minutes, bike Looking good, Wat up Iceman you guys don't have 70° weather like over here..lol, Wat up from the 818SFV...
The US Postal Service Creed now applies to you:" Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds".
Thank God we have " fast forward ".

Great video John, including the snow blower! 😁 Gotta love that sound!
@@CYCLEFANATIX Thanks man, I’m working on some animation and was going to do a quick video for some thoughts, appreciate the feedback.

Great video. I know how you feel about the snow I’m up in Sussex.
John I think is January 1996 when snow 30 plus inches because I live in Jersey by that time I remember my little car is total cover snow...
I was just in the garage looking at this exact issue. I will order today and hopefully see you in Daytona. JT
If you have a lower fairing, it will work, you just have to take off both mounts for the floorboard and press down on the fairing.
Just when I thought Silverback couldn't get any nicer. Living in Mn. just west of Minneapolis that kind of snowfall is pretty rare. But we woke up to -25 Sunday morning and -17 this morning.
You have any upgrades on snow blower lol
Great video thanks

Without
I don't miss living in Colonia, one bit. We don't shovel water in Deltona, FL. :D And we ride all year down here.
I think you shoule buy the matching floor boards. That brake pedal looks great
Who makes the seat on your bike?
Love the video. As much as I love riding. I never ride on the salty roads. That salt gets in every nook and cranny and turns into rust. Just a heads up.
I definitely have to look into that being that I wear a size 15 boot that would help out. Thanks for sharing 🤙🏾🤙🏾

I think your going to need a bigger snow blower... 🤣
Hey john I'm a midget will that work for? LOL
Should have got the softbrake instead of kuryakyn. Much easier to install
About time you ride like a man without a helmet! Lol
