This is absolutely true. They expect us to carry their bags and that too when its heavy they do it on purpose. I always refuse and tell them they need to check them in. I love this video its so relatable
The only scenario (that I can think of) where it’s appropriate to ask a flight attendant to load baggage for you is if you’re disabled/injured/etc. Like I have multiple disabilities that sometimes prevent me from lifting heavy things, especially overhead when my balance already sucks, so if I ever fly alone I may have to ask a flight attendant (or just a nice passenger) to at least help me put my luggage up. I was not disabled but too short to grab my bag (like my hands couldn't even reach it) in the overhead compartment, no flight attendant approached me let alone offered any help when they saw me struggling even when the plane is almost empty, i didn't know they wouldn't help with baggage unless you're disabled. Thankfully there was a lovely passenger who offered me help.
@@Sunnychuu I heard somewhere that they are literally not allowed to lift up a pax bag because they might injure themselves. Don’t know why they wouldn’t pull it down though.
Tip: If you ever fly by yourself, you can book mobility assistance with your ticket. I'm disabled and usually fly alone, and it's always a great help.
Well honestly I don't think there is anything wrong with a passenger asking the flight attendants for help putting their bags up for them if they do so politely. That is one of the reasons the minimum height for a flight attendant is a particular specified number. So that they can reach the overhead bins and assist in securing luggages safely. I don't know what jeenie wanted to convey through this video but I hope the issue was just with the passenger being rude (as mentioned in the title) and not with what she asked for.
Cyanvaya, it’s not unreasonable to ask for help with a bag, but it’s really shitty to demand someone with a similar or lighter build than yours pick up your heavy ass, overpacked shit because “it’s your job”, when you can just politely ask a stronger looking passenger for help if your back is messed up, and someone will usually oblige, or, you know, just not pack as much heavy stuff or check the bag at the gate at no cost.
@@evilsharkey8954 well most often passengers do it because they can't REACH the overhead bins. Even if they were heavy I'm pretty sure the flight attendants can assist. They are trained for it.
I swear, Jeenie is my arch nemesis! Every time I get on RUclips for a specific reason, there's a Jeenie video and I get sucked in to the vortex! And I'm not even mad about it 🤪
It's espeically rich when the customers who are like that DON'T TIP. They be like "I pay your salary" to a waitress or something, then they don't tip anything even if the service was outstanding. I guess their (failed attempt at) "logic" is that by doing business with the establishment that employs the worker, they pay the worker. But then by that reasoning, so does everyone else there, but then they also expect to be treated with special treatment and act like denial of special treatment is discrimination against them and oppression.
@@BorinRobin8 I was dumb enough to do the math So, around twice per minute? Eh, seems reasonable. Except for night. How many hours do you sleep? I need to redo it now.

I once helped a lady put her bag up and she let it go while it wasn’t yet in the overhead bin and it felt on me. I got a dislocated shoulder, got offloaded, didn’t get paid and got a note on my file for being absent 😬
Ikr, seeing how those female flight attendance looks so fragile most of the time......they are tall and pretty.....we all know how these pretty girls sometimes cant even lift the thing we considered as lightweight.....it's no big deal since it's not their job to lift heavy stuff to begin with.
@@nickraph67 I agree with your last point, but come on, they might look fragile but they can't be that weak, it's a stereotype. They're probably about as strong as the customer.
First time I travelled in more than a decade (first time as an adult), I couldn’t reach the overhead storage because of my short height and I asked one of the flight attendants to help me with my bag, and he frowned and coldly told me to do it myself. I felt so embarrassed I almost cried . Another passenger immediately got up to help me push it up. While I understand it’s not your job, helping someone with pushing a bag up together when it’s too high is the decent thing to do. Not everyone goes through the flight attendants entry exams and gets checked as to whether they’re tall enough to fly.
I have also had this problem and I solved it by only packing a bag small enough to fit under my seat. It sucks a little, but it's also nice not to have to go into the overhead bins.
Flight attendants go through that height criteria literally so that they can comfortably reach the overhead storage. Assisting passengers with luggage IS their job.
Same! I'm really short and I also have TOS (shoulder related illness). It's a weird position to be in because even if you politely ask for help from the staff I've been ignored, so I just end up trying to do it myself and deal with the pain. Sometimes another passenger may see me struggle and help though. :)
You can politely ask another passengers Im sure they will happily help you, flight attendants got asked many times to help passengers with the luggage their back might be broken if they help everyone who ask them😂
My first international flight alone was to Singapore and I was very nervous about having the flight attendant help me with putting my luggage in the overhead bin because I’ve read that it’s not her job. But she helped me anyway. It was so nice. Haha. Just sharing.
i get the gist its not all the flyin companies that have this absurd idea/rule to not let flight attendants help passengers with luggages in 99% of the cases(which when you re short is quite the hindrance for example), but i recently flew thro Singapore and the company i used to get to and back from australia (a singaporean company) had their flight attendants even lift luggages for passengers if somebody asked politely; some of them were even charged with movin them around to make more room overhead for other luggage. So i guess it does work company by company as well.
Why I really like Jeenie's contents because as a passenger, I've seen most of her stories on my travel with plane... which is very relatable, but now it's from the crew's point of view:)) i love your content jeeniee
I'm disabled and pre-board, and I'm still able to stow my rollaway. I make sure it's light enough that I can handle it. I have had a few cabin crew (usually male attendants) offer to stow it for me, and I'm always grateful, but if I can't lift it to shoulder height I shouldn't be dragging it through airports!
my hand was injured and it's really hard for me to lift carry-ons, but usually there are kind passengers near me that'll see me struggling and help (usually male). i don't ask the flight attendant bcs i know they're female too and maybe it's gonna be heavy for her. but im sure there are times if a passenger ask politely if they need help it's ok?
Honestly, we get a lot of Canadians visiting my area of Florida. They are some of the most polite people I've ever met. Matter of fact, I took a trip to Toronto and even the homeless people I ran across were polite!
I have an idea. Jeenie could make a video of what are the techniques she used to confront difficult passengers/customers. She seems to be so good with that!
"We're still boarding, eh." "...put my bage up." Hahahaha...you're so Canada. Also, the scenario of two people being "too polite" only happens in Canada--to your credit.
My first international flight was on Air Canada...one of the cabin crew was NOT in a good mood. I complimented her smile and she asked me if I was being serious or just joking. After I told her I was serious she was still not in a good mood except when she was helping me 😂 It pays to be genuinely polite.
Put these two seated next to each other and free up the rest of the plane for passenger traffic ... ;) But, yeah, these are brilliant! Also, so true about the overhead bags! I remember when I needed help with my bag after surgery, with the operative word (pun and all) being needing HELP, as in, I needed someone to give me an extra hand because one was with a cane, rather than expecting the flight attendant to lift it for me completely. I made sure the bag was as light as possible, too. We each have one bag to lift, and can help each other, but I can see how it adds up quickly if many passengers expect the flight attendants to lift their bags!
My father at his Fertilizers business: "The 50 kg urea bags are back there, you can load them to your trolley" Most farmers: "not a problem, mate👍" Most tiches (male & females) in the cities: "Ohhh my Gawd, this 2 litre milk bottle was so difficult to carry, it makes my fingers hurt"
That's any customer service job. But most people aren't naturally rude. I've had a lot more people who made my day than people who were awful. Only wish they'd tell off the karens for us since we employees can't.
The actual difference between polite and rude customers: Polite customers: Get a free upgrade by Jeenie Rude customers: Get thrown off the plane by Jeenie
I have to say that being 5' tall (short, I'd say), putting my bag in the overhead compartment was the worst. Usually another passenger ended up helping me when they saw me struggling.
Remember that the flight attendants are busy and that if you try to ask one and don't get angry if one doesn't help you with your bag they also have to greet passengers too
@@CamilaAntelo2004 I never ask but I HAVE been stared down by still-standing flight attendants bc I was delaying the line or I needed some momentum to put the bag over my head, and yet they didn't move to help with the final 1-hand push, which is the only thing I'd need, really, otherwise I literally jump. Like, if you won't help, at least don't judge??
The moment I read “Canadian Flight” I knew where this was going 😂 If some people don’t get it, it’s a stereotype that Canadians apologize too much. And honestly, it’s true for a lot of people. Like, I apologize way too often! I don’t know why but I find that people in Canadian airports/airlines just seem to be nicer and more polite. I’m not saying that other airlines and people and other countries aren’t as polite tho. Just that most Canadians can be so polite to the point of us apologizing a lot- 😅
I’m an ex Canadian who has lived in Australia for 30 years but still have an accent. Had a minor trolley collision in the supermarket the other day, and automatically said sorry, though it wasn’t actually my fault.
I feel like a better retaliation would have been if jeenie said “ I have to ensure everyone’s safety on this flight, including mine and my back’s
Were* not we're. We're means we are. "Customer, you we are once.
You’ve never sounded more Canadian. I Love it and you.
plot twist: the rude passenger didn't actually pay
These vids are so funny you killin it Jennie
Btw her name's Jeenie, but don't worry, autocorrect can be stupid sometimes ♡
Jeenie is such a great actress in all of the parts she plays
I swear, Jeenie is my arch nemesis! Every time I get on RUclips for a specific reason, there's a Jeenie video and I get sucked in to the vortex! And I'm not even mad about it 🤪
as a Canadian I can confirm the first part is spot on 😂
the fact that it’s a canadian flight where the passengers are apologizing makes sense
OMG THIS IS THE EARLIEST I HAVE EVER BEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE - WOW.

As soon as someone starts with the "I pay your salary" bit...my politeness goes out the window...
The “put my bag up for me” was SPOT ON!
World would be beautiful if it was full of polite people
This is literally what Canadians do
Every day I say sorry at least like 7 times 🤣🤣
I'm not Canadian, but I say sorry at least 30 times a day
@@ninaadbhat bruh I say sorry at least like 21,000 times a week even my parents started to ask me to not say sorry
I sat it often but I'm American. Always say I must be Canadian though.
@@BorinRobin8 I was dumb enough to do the math
So, around twice per minute? Eh, seems reasonable. Except for night. How many hours do you sleep? I need to redo it now.
MY day can't be completed without a bit of Jeenie's videos 😂😂😂🤣🤣❤
"I should've stopped slower"
Idk why but this was too funny..
The first part is Canada in a nutshell. Always saying sorry and giving people timbits.
Thank you for your wonderful work ! You were the best flight attendant ever 😁😊😁
That rude passenger should have also gotten an offload Tag.
Jeenie is the best flight attendant ever! Keeps smiling right on through the rudest people. 💙💚💜 I'd have said swear words & will have to explain to my maker why I felt the need to punch her face. Jeenie thanx for your kindness. I pray you don't have to face this much crud in the future. 🥰
I once helped a lady put her bag up and she let it go while it wasn’t yet in the overhead bin and it felt on me. I got a dislocated shoulder, got offloaded, didn’t get paid and got a note on my file for being absent 😬
How come the company wrote note on your file while you were clearly hurt? Not a very good company to work for isn't it?
Good lord, I'm so sorry about that.
I can relate to this 100%…this is reality you nailed it.👍🏽
For flight attendants the angrier they are the bigger they smile🤣
This is why I love your channel
"Timbits" 😂 ... Yup! So true! Timbits heal all wounds for us Canadians 😂
The fact she makes so many of us laugh is just perfect 😂
As jeenie said if you can't lift a bag neither can we
Ikr, seeing how those female flight attendance looks so fragile most of the time......they are tall and pretty.....we all know how these pretty girls sometimes cant even lift the thing we considered as lightweight.....it's no big deal since it's not their job to lift heavy stuff to begin with.
@@nickraph67 I agree with your last point, but come on, they might look fragile but they can't be that weak, it's a stereotype. They're probably about as strong as the customer.
I love how well she impersonate all those characters.
I love how she adds "ey" at the end of the politeness one because of the stereotype of Canadians and how they're so nice
Definitely one of my favorites. Thanks.
The ring light looks so pretty in her eyes
Jennie knows how to deal with all kinds of ppl 👍🏻
Canadian vs Karen, The most epic battle of all time where the Canadian will kill the Karen.... With kindness of course.
Haha my japanese husband always say "I will kill them with kindness" and I always found it so funny.
I agree with the Canadian politeness , especially when opening the door for someone and the communication there lol
That’s not the point of the video, if you ask politely for assistance I don’t see the problem
Always chose kind ♥️
For the most part >:)

The Canadian accent really comes out when she says "bag"... sounds like "Beg"

My response with passengers who thought it was my job to stow their bags:
“You pack it you rack it”
Walks off to the aft galley💅🏾
“You pack it you stack it.” “You load it you stow it.”
@Oddly Shut
my hand was injured and it's really hard for me to lift carry-ons, but usually there are kind passengers near me that'll see me struggling and help (usually male). i don't ask the flight attendant bcs i know they're female too and maybe it's gonna be heavy for her. but im sure there are times if a passenger ask politely if they need help it's ok?
HAHAHA , last one was really good 😂💜✨
You know the acting is good when you hate her character so much. Her facial expressions and everything on point 👌
Dude im a Canadian this is so sweet thank u! :)😃
Honestly, we get a lot of Canadians visiting my area of Florida. They are some of the most polite people I've ever met. Matter of fact, I took a trip to Toronto and even the homeless people I ran across were polite!
lmao love the ending!!!
Also, you forgot to say "soary" the Canadian way 😂
I have an idea. Jeenie could make a video of what are the techniques she used to confront difficult passengers/customers. She seems to be so good with that!
She knows how to deal this lol
"can we just speed up the politeness. We are still boarding - ehhh"
now we know this is Canadian flight - ehhh :)
That’s like one of the best Karen illustrations to date
The rude passenger was lucky she didn’t get thrown off the plane XD
well that was because they wern't hight enough in the air to be optimle for the rude passenger to "fall" off perfectly
My anxiety cures by her :)
"We're still boarding, eh." "...put my bage up." Hahahaha...you're so Canada. Also, the scenario of two people being "too polite" only happens in Canada--to your credit.
She’s got the best responses
My first international flight was on Air Canada...one of the cabin crew was NOT in a good mood. I complimented her smile and she asked me if I was being serious or just joking. After I told her I was serious she was still not in a good mood except when she was helping me 😂
It pays to be genuinely polite.
The timbits part was the best part lol
Isn't it true she makes everyone's day better?
I mean ofc
I’m happy there’s no one in my family like the customer in the second tiktok
A dozen timbits😂🤣 love it!
My father at his Fertilizers business:
"The 50 kg urea bags are back there, you can load them to your trolley"
Most farmers: "not a problem, mate👍"
Most tiches (male & females) in the cities:
"Ohhh my Gawd, this 2 litre milk bottle was so difficult to carry, it makes my fingers hurt"
I appreciate that you said most. haha
Why does this makes me think of spongebob when he was carrying a purse?
The city tich would be me
Can confirm
If someone carry a 2l bottle by hanging it in a finger, then it will hurt 😝
I love the way she says "tag" and "bag"
The Canadian flight one is so true 🤣
I live in Canada and this happens a lot-
🤣🤣🤣 Gotcha! What a wonderful conflict resolution.
this is why i will never be a flight attendant. dealing with karens for hrs is enough to drive me mad
Hello Azula
@@nannabelooa4161 hi
That's any customer service job. But most people aren't naturally rude. I've had a lot more people who made my day than people who were awful. Only wish they'd tell off the karens for us since we employees can't.
Thank you for the Timbits and "Eh" 🤣❤
The actual difference between polite and rude customers:
Polite customers: Get a free upgrade by Jeenie
Rude customers: Get thrown off the plane by Jeenie
The polite ones is so true
For those who disliked the video probably recognized themselves as the rude customer. Lol
"Bag" pronunciation is amazing!
Ah yes, the traditional Canadian politeness. Funny thing is, a lot of Canadians actually fit the stereotype of saying sorry a lot 😂
It's kind of funny because it becomes a mindless verbal reflex. Sometimes it feels like 'sorry' has lost all meaning because you say it so often.
Nice way of handling passengers 😎👏👏
I have to say that being 5' tall (short, I'd say), putting my bag in the overhead compartment was the worst. Usually another passenger ended up helping me when they saw me struggling.
Me too!
I'm 5'2 and it's not much of a problem. I don't know if it's the cheap airlines I use that they have lower ceilings though.
The rude passenger changed her tone quick. LOL
After watching Jeenie’s videos, it makes me wanna be a flight attendant/pilot
Only few people make me happy and you are indeed one of them dear Jeenie❤
The moment I read “Canadian Flight” I knew where this was going 😂
If some people don’t get it, it’s a stereotype that Canadians apologize too much.
Someone I know slightly happened to be passing and stopped. “You’re Canadian?” She said “I always thought you were American.”
I disagree, In Toronto’s airport the workers I found were as rude or nearly as rude as those working at JFK or Chicago airports. Every single time I dread flying out of Toronto.
@@lap8329 😂 that is hilarious
@torink8229 Maybe it's not all those different airports. Maybe it's you?
