In some small way, you have to admire somebody who will stand up for their convictions, no matter how petty the reason, and no matter what the cost to themselves.
I'm a fan of flight attendants and give them lots of breaks but we had a flight a couple days ago that was one for the books. We were seated in the bulkhead in first class. My husband travels with large amounts of money and blank company checks when we travel to certain trade shows. Obviously he wanted to keep his backpack where he could keep an eye on it and it was directly overhead. Boarding was almost complete when the FA comes by, takes my husband's backpack and proceeds to move it to an overhead a few rows past first class. My husband politely told her he can't have that out of his sight and asked her to return it. She got huffy and said she needed to put another bag where my husband's was. He asked her to take the new bag to the back instead of his. She did and returned my husband's bag but then walked to the cockpit and loudly told the pilot that there was a first class customer who was upset she moved his bag. Once in the air my husband went to the galley to explain why it was important he keep his bag in sight. She was still pissed at him and didn't really respond. When we deplaned she thanked everyone in front of us and everyone in back of us for flying American Airlines but ignored us. So petty.
If you were seated at a bulkhead, your bags must be stowed in an overhead compartment for takeoff and landing. During the flight, you can remove it and keep it on the floor in front of you, as long as it doesn't obstruct the aisle, which is their workspace. Not sure why she would loudly complain to the captain. Pilots have no idea what goes on in the cabin behind them, nor do they have any reason or desire to get involved, unless it's a security issue and a threat to the inflight crew. They are completely on our side. I think you might be misinformed on that count. Perhaps she was conferring with a male colleague and you mistook him for a pilot

I sent a message back saying I would but if they had the same attitude I would be leaving and they could come get the load where I'll be parked. I could feel the change in attitude when I walked back in. There was also a guy there I didn't see before wearing a tie. Phone call must have been made.

16 hour flight and only one attendant for a whole section? There are usually at least 2 attendants who you deal with in that kind of larger long distance planes

16 hour flight and only one attendant for a whole section? There are usually at least 2 attendants who you deal with in that kind of larger long distance planes
In business class, some airlines have one FA in charge of maybe 3-4 pax so as a passenger, you are introduced to him/her prior to takeoff and you know who is taking care of your section.
@@cuclainne I mean a 16 hour flight?? It should be illegal to make someone work for 16 hours "a day", especially for the same section or people. Thanks for your insight on how only 1 FA might be in charge for 1 person in business section though.
I love your intro! 😂🤣😂
"I refuse to be served by an Asian", - says an Asian guy. Marvelous!
"I don't speak asian" aah Asian my favorite language
This should happen to all racists 🤣🤣🤣

Passenger- I refuse to be served by an Asian
Me- "You are literally the same person"
*Joke* I am very sorry that some people have to face these terrible things. Slowly losing faith in humanity again.
Racist to your own race is like ultimate racism 😂😂😩😩😩✋✋✋
