  • This time I managed to remove most of the SFX and voices without damaging too much of the music compared to my last rip. It still has some minor bleeding of the sfx in some parts but it's impossible to remove all of it due to how prevalent the bgm was in action sequences.

Wow, this is incredible. I was wondering if you would interested in trying a few of the remaining tracks? I have all the audio samples ripped from the DVDs, I would gladly send the cues over. I really hope we could get Placido Fusion (Alternate version) or maybe Speed World (Alternate version) I assume those might be almost impossible considering they only have a few occurrences, with Placido Fusion Alternate only having 1 occurrence. I also have all the unreleased GX tracks ripped from the dvds, every occurrence for every unreleased track, which is like hundreds of occurrences, literally insane. Thanks man, you are great.

This is the best ever version of the track, thank you so much. Volume is perfect and the cleaning you did is amazing!! Good job sir!!

Fantastic work given the limitation you mentioned of it being mostly in action sequences! Sounds better than your last rip and it does sound like most of the instruments are still nicely intact. Very curious how you managed to pull it off for whenever I get back to my GX OST rips, lol (I have dabbled with UVR for it but I'd love to be able to more cleanly remove or isolate the SFX [especially for more 'uncut' dub edits])

I restored drums with by separating them with htdemucs_ft and than patching them in Izotope RX where they were lost to vocals or sfx. I also used manual ensemble min spec for this one, as the bgm was played multiple times, when perfectly aligned from different episodes, it extracts only music without sfx or voice in it.

Thank you for this! I'll download the other version in case this gets taken down. No offense.

Heya, yugidmx5. Great work as always. I have two questions for you.
1: Do you think that extraction models that focus on splitting multiple forms of stuff like SFX, synths and guitars can/will be made in the future?
And 2: If you ever redo the TV-Size Over Soul Instrumental from Shaman King, is there any chance for the full Version in a download link?

The models that separate sfx synths and guitars already exist. They're not perfect compared to bass and drums models but they will certainly get better in the future as they get trained on bigger datasets. As for the song no backvocal instrumentals, I'll probably not redo those as anyone can make them nowadays with UVR so it isn't difficult like it was before.

What models are best for SFX?

Currently none give perfect result, maybe in the future there will be better models but for now, Bandit Plus on MVSEP site removes some of it.

@@yugidmx5 It seems like a lot of these models are trained with music in mind.
